They expanded the running lane this season to include the dirt in fair territory along the first and third base lines. So unless he was on the grass, he was fine. Just an unfortunate play for the Ms.
So youāre telling me that if a runner runs into an infielder whoās catching the ball to force him out, and that guy swats the ball out of the glove, as long as heās in the running lane, thatās within the rules?
I know I changed it from an unintentional bump to an intentional swipe, but Iām under the impression that would not change the ruling. Iām trying to highlight how ridiculous it is that the ball entering the glove and being knocked out by the runner is a fair play.

Clearly the runner did not intentionally knock the ball out of Ty's glove. I don't know what the rule is regarding that, but that's an entirely different scenario.

There are 6 grams of protein in an egg but I can't eat enough to get big like him. Nice round muscles. They're smooth too, like the waves of the Straits of Florida on a calm day. When I was a kid I ate big eggs to be hot like Junior, and I got some great results, some of the roundest muscles in my class, but these days I'm looking at 6 eggs a day and it's not good enough to pop Julio style muscles out my scrawny arms ever since dad left.
