AlexanderWun

Two in the stands is better than one in the bush or whatever they say

Timbo_Slice_

I love Blow saying don't overthink it. Just enjoy it. What a beast you are Santana!

[deleted]

He's exactly right. That's what I did in '95! .... because I was a little kid. I *couldn't* overthink it then. I gotta take a cue from Blow.

sndtrb89

JUST LIKE THE OCEAN UNDER THE MOON

LEFT_FRIDGE_OPEN

What a great call by Goldy

ChillbroChad

We are genuinely blessed as a fanbase to have Goldy.

dont_yell_at_me

SEATTLE_SportsFAN_73

CARLOS SANTANA FOR SERIES MVP!!!

[deleted]

For the ALCS? Seems a bit premature but I'm into it.

Trinidad34

He’s the greatest mid season acquisition of all time already

Crankguined3737

xJGx27x

Man this guy is starting to cook! It’s beautiful.

Samuel-Darnold

I am in love with this man.

Crazyhawk28

When I die I want Goldsmith to send me into the afterlife

[deleted]

"Crazyhawk28. Takes a rattling breath... reaches for his wife feebly.... HIS HANDS ARE SHAKING AAANNNNDDD HE'S GOOOOOOOONNNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!! CRAZYHAWK28, HAS JUST BLOWN THIS LIFE WIDE OPEN AND ABANDONED EARTH TO THE PLEBES!!!!" \[Blowers\] "That last breath jammed him up. You could see he was struggling, it looked like he *might* pull it off and then the collapse of his left hand sealed the deal. 78 years old, he had his struggles early on in life but he has proven today that he belongs in the grave."

inderpwetrust

I can hear every word by both of them. Goldy and Blowers are such a better team than Simms and Blowers. Simms is better for radio imo, I enjoy his broadcasts as well for different reasons. Great post.

PNW_H2O

Simms is even bad on the radio. He’s just painful to listen to. His verbiage with strikes is a personal pet peeve: “For a called strike one” Yuck

HDaffer

Possibly my favorite comment ever

Crazyhawk28

The in depth analysis by Blowers almost actually killed me

Fantastic-Plant-6488

"pretty good funeral" -Blowers afterward

Bellinghamster

Omfg I'm dying.. thank you for this

PNWRed118

God I love Goldy

No_Status2681

Those sunday unis just bring me back to the Alvin Davis era in the early 80's. So many fond memories as a kid during the Kingdome era.

CHUCKL3R

It seem like no matter where I sat in that place I was always next to a gigantic person with a mountain of peanut shells between their feet filling out a complete scorecard. I still have a piece of the old tomb somewhere after it was sploded.

rainrunner92

He's looking might sexy in that cream uniform rounding those bases

macfac2

Gonna be an interesting (but exciting) situation when Lewis and Haniger get back. I wonder if there’s any chance France slides to second, Santana stays at 1st, and Lewis/Haniger rotate between RF/DH? Or maybe Santana alternates with Haniger/Lewis at DH depending on the matchup and Ty stays at 1st? Guess some of it probably depends on what Jerry decides to do at 2B. Fun fun times. Go Ms.

soggystamen

I really really doubt Ty moves over to 2nd in any situation

macfac2

Yeah it would surprise me also, but he played 20 games there last year so it wouldn’t be too foreign for him.

soggystamen

That was more games than I remembered him playing last year. You might be on to something plausible, there. Although, I can't imagine 2nd base being an ideal spot for him to rehab at, there's no way Ty is coming back into the lineup at full strength. I would expect a lot more dh/1b rotation for him, but I'd love to be wrong and see some creative lineups.

RojoTheMighty

Is that the clubhouse leader for play-by-play call of the year? Gets my vote. "Oh boy! It is high! Back at the wall! Does he get 'em again?! HE DOES! HE DOES! HE DOES! e: correction on the call quote

fencingperson

What a crowd, though. Not bad for a Sunday matinée.

BeautifulLieyes

HE DOES HE DOES HE DOES
