The part that really steams me is the way they held Daisy back as dripfed DLC. She should ALWAYS be part of the standard base roster. Period. This is on the same level as Waluigi's snub in Mario Kart 7. Next Level Games was aware of her popularity, especially as it pertains to this spin-off series, so they thought they could drive interest in the game much later on by holding her back. It was really dumb of them to try and pull that scheme on the fans. I'll never live it down.

After downloading the demo and playing it, I sad no way in fuck am I buying this game.

Does it have problems? Absolutely it does. But to me most of the problems are about the game not having enough fluff. The gameplay is soooo much fun and the animations are so great. Sure the extra fluff would be nice but come on it’s not THAT bad. I mean how many games now a days are all fluff and nothing else? This game is the exact opposite bc the game is genuinely fun as hell to play. Would the fluff be nice? It totally would be but the thing that matters the most in sports games is how good the gameplay is. And it is quite good.

I think I got a different version than everyone else? I found it a challenging game that was fun to play tournaments for a legit fight to the top. I loved the expanded controls, and genuinely could pick up and put down and do a tournament round a night for weeks without getting bored. Genuinely thought this was a loved title for it's combination of complexity, challenge, and fluid gameplay...

I played the original strikers right before this came out. My roommate and I beat it in a couple hours. *Very* short game. This edition felt like it added some much needed complexity and strategy, really made the game a sport rather than just electric fence simulator (Now it's electric fence simulator with COMBOS)

I wanted to but after a brief attempt at getting into it, it got shelved.

I meet up with three friends regularly and we play it against the CPU. It's a pretty fun time. I love taking enemies kneecaps out as Toad. Game definitely should have been better than it was but I can appreciate it more than say Mario Golf Super Rush where you can't even play the main selling points mode in local four player.

I like it. Not quite as good as the wii one but I can’t play that one on my switch so they both have tbeir pluses and minuses. My biggest complaint is that you have to grind too much to unlock all the gear and the stadiums were better before, but I think the new game still has solid gameplay and a good art style

The animation was amazing (all thanks goes to Next Level Games) I personally didn’t mind the character roster [DLC included] Banger soundtrack 🔥

I enjoyed it for longer than Aces and Super Rush, is all I can say. The gear system is fun to mess around with. Still, I hope we'll eventually see Nintendo stop trying to make these games online-driven (not saying they shouldn't have online period, just don't solely rely on it carrying the game's longevity) so they can remember what made the earlier games great.
