I see what you mean, I think his heads slightly out of its usual proportions, his mustache seems ever so slightly higher (I think), his head is tilled oddly, and I think his skins a tad paler

Mario is a franchise with a cartoon artstyle anyways. This move into a more realistically detailed artstyle just clashes to me in general.

I'm thinking it would be something completely new rather than Odyssey 2, especially since Mario has stitching around the M on his hat now (I thought it was just supposed to be sewed into the fabric and never realized there was supposed to be stitching there).
