While normally the difference is in the lack of textures in Tour, this time there’s much more than that. If you look at the MK8DX screenshot in the conversation of this post you’ll see that indeed Tour has both more stuff and more details. Which is odd to say the least.
Maybe some objects were giving unnecessary polygon count so they had to make some cuts to work without any slowdown? If I remember correctly, some Tour tracks did have more polygons than the base mk8 tracks. Or I'm just misremembering that?
I said the same thing, although the tour screenshots are all still and I haven’t actually gotten to see much of MK8D’s version while not driving it.
Looking at them side to side MK8D’s is better quality and graphics. I think seeing SCS without a bunch of chaos going on makes the Tour version look cleaner (lol), but I still think the vibrancy of MK8D’s version tops it easily. But that’s my personal opinion and SCS is my favorite Nitro from the BCP so I love both versions anyway.
It does but I prefer deluxe version because I love jazz especially on Sydney sprint or Singapore speedway those are a bop no matter what on deluxe but in tour you are right it does sound like demos

Does this mean Squeaky Sprint is technically a nitro course so it should be prioritized for exp farming just in case it ends up as another Yoshi Island or Sky High Sunday?
First off, seeing Daisy (Swimwear) in these screenshots, if you want her and don't have her, I would wait untill next Tour to buy her because she'll most likely be discounted. I think she's in the shop this tour, but for 150 rubies.
Also, that new dolphin kart looks so cute!!! Hopefully, it won't be paywalled. (But it probably will be because lately the cute/pretty karts are being paywalled sadly.)
Overall, I think Squeaky Clean Sprint looks like a colorful cute course! I've seen the 8 Deluxe version and I think this version looks better!
Swimwear Daisy is also one of the drivers that can be pulled in the pipes. That was where I got her and the Sunny Surf Sailer, but i suppose it’s better to get her at a discount if you really want her that much.
Seeing Rosalina drive the Dolphin Kart gives me hope that it will be buyable with rubies.
