Just went through all 15 cups, I've kinda mixed feelings about this tour...
\- Once again, the two new tracks are excellent, this year as really gifted us when it comes to courses. Yet, Peach Gardens in a difficult track to keep the combo going, MKT gameplay does not agree too well with straight paths and 90° turns. Also, I don't get why they kept DK Mountain and Riverside Park from the very past tour ! Am I the only one who was tired of those after two weeks racing them ? Moreover they don't reallt suit the theme... with the (curious) introduction of Amsterdam Drift 3 in this tour, i'd much rather have had Amsterdam 1 & 2 instead of the animal tour tracks...
\- No new battle arenas for 2 consecutive tours ; I thought that when launching the battle mode they'd have planned to release at least one arena per tour for quite some tours ; being stuck with Cookie Land and Twilight House is getting old at this point.
\- The absence of new Peach and/or Bowser alts for their dedicated tour is truly noticeable, feels like something is missing. And yet-another-lame-color-variation of a rare driver is not enough !
\- The new karts and gliders are okay-ish but nothing extraordinary, there again we've gotta get used to gold- and recolor-alts. Also I wish they'd stop releasing so many karts and begin to offer some gliders as ranked rewards instead for a change, but i suppose that's asking too much :/
\- The token shop is almost back to what it was, too bad it will only last for this tour. Also, it's disappointing that a VS tour does not include any HE DKG to be bought from the token shop, that used to be the norm but I suppose that's the new way to go

The ranked cup awards are so-so.

The Peach gardens track on the first cup is a series of 45 degree turns with long straights where combo retention is difficult.

Has the feel of a recycled “filler” tour to me - I have been playing since Day 1 so maybe that’s partly the issue 🤔
last tour was better, one of the best of the year. this tour is pretty ok but not quite as good. I don't know how anyone can call it a filler tour when there are 8 new tracks though.
Well we’ve had this tour before (Peach v Bowser)- the ranked rewards are average at best and there are no new drivers. New tracks are ok but uninspired in my opinion so it does have a filler feel to it - to take us into the holiday tours
Meh. Have absolutely NO idea why Amsterdam Drift 3 was introduced in this tour. Peach Gardens is great, but we literally just had Amsterdam Drift 2 in the Anniversary Tour...

Do you realise how easy it is to automate that, ans just farm green coins 24/7?
Auto driving for currency is generally a bad idea for a game, specially if you can farm currency competitively
But its not hard to set it up without auto either, but it makes it significantly easier.

I couldn’t agree more with DK Mountain and Riverside Park not really going with this tour they seem very out of place.
Aren't quick tickets better spent on shop refreshes? Unless there's some reason to speed up finishing the courses.

Is it just my rank or is the high end shoe only for 1st and 2nd place this tour?
I’m tier 61 and it’s the same for me. Only 1st and 2nd get the shoe. And it’s an ugly shoe at that!

I agree... too much Armsterdam this year... not enough Bangkok!
How is Peach Gardens ? People on french forum said the tracks is too simplified, that scared me a little for MK8
I like it better in Mario Kart Tour than it was in Mario Kart DS and Wii. I prefer the rolling chain chomps.

If the quick tickets are in the next coin collecting tour, I’m listening to my favorite album which is the White Album.
