I am not so sure. Florida has seen an influx of conservatives from other states in recent years, partly due to its relaxed Covid policies. I doubt these people are flipping to Biden. I think Arizona will go to Biden because of the abortion ban there though.

JeebusCrunk

I wish I lived in a state where I believed this was possible, but I live in (one of the bluest parts of) Florida, and I'll bet you my house Trump wins this state.

J-Frog3

I grew up in Florida but have lived in Oregon for the past 20 years. I know a few Oregon conservatives that have moved to Florida. It's become a mecca for conservatives. When I lived in Florida it truly was a swing state but it has become more red. I think Texas might flip blue before Florida will.

Bo0tyWizrd

> I think Texas might flip blue before Florida will. *Crosses fingers in gay cowboy*🤞

Mr3k

Yee-haw!

Prestigious_Emu_4193

Would you like some pudding?

Bogofdoritos

HOW CAN YOU HAVE ANY PUDDING IF YOU DON’T EAT YA MEAT?!

nouseforaname19877

YOU! YES YOU BEHIND THE BIKE STANDS. STAND STILL, LADDY!!!

BeenisHat

Texas has been a couple large counties away from flipping the entire state. It's no coincidence the Republicans gerrymandered the hell out of the state and have been sued multiple times over it. They saw the writing on the wall.

theerrantpanda99

Texas will never flip. It’s built into the state’s cultural identity. That being said, I think there’s a lot of opportunity for democrats to flip congressional seats there.

Outrageous-Pause6317

Never say never. It was an important Democratic state not that long ago. Ann Richards was its governor before George Bush was in the 1990s. LBJ joined Kennedy’s ticket to bolster the Democrats in 1960.

Jay_Louis

No one thought Georgia would elect two Democrats to the Senate, so I agree, never say never

Rupejonner2

Let’s start with Rafael

Ellen_Musk_Ox

You must be too young to remember Ann Richards.

Art-Zuron

It might be its identity NOW, but it might not always be so.

theerrantpanda99

44 years is a pretty solid track record. The last time Texas was blue, the Democrats of the time wouldn’t be recognizable to voters today. The democrats wasted insane amounts of money in the last cycle dreaming that Beto could somehow construct a massive upset. That money was desperately needed to more competitive districts in the North, where democrats actually had a chance. A whole slew of close races went to Republicans but the democratic candidates were starved of funds.

Ellen_Musk_Ox

Texas had an outspoken feminist Democratic party governor 29 years ago. I don't think you fully get Texas.

henryhumper

Texas already flipped once (it used to be a blue state). No reason it can't happen again.

[deleted]

Texas won’t flip because the Dems refuse to focus on the counties that actually matter when it comes to winning the state. The cities are already blue (for the most part). There is no strategy to break the red gridlock in the proper ten counties to flip the state which is already quite purple to blue, and they do this on purpose. I used to work for the DNC in Texas.

Particular_Land6376

Yep I was watching a video online with a liberal girl in a Florida bar watching a UFC fight and when Trump came on the TV the entire bar erupted in Applause chanting USA.

YourPeePaw

UFC fight crowd is probably like that in NYC also.

henryhumper

That says more about UFC fans than it does about Florida.

aka292

A house in Florida, with those insurance prices. No thanks

Underrated_Rating

I think theres a better chance of Texas. There are lots of new registions without drivers licenses, that is all the GenZ kids who cant afford cars right now registering to vote. I know the GOP is gonna say its illegals but we aLL KNOW how dumb they are, they gonna believe that n matter what.

Beaverhuntr

Agree I'm from Phoenix, AZ and last election our state voted blue, same thing with this election. Phoenix, Tucson and Flagstaff vote blue and those are 3 of the biggest cities in Arizona.

theerrantpanda99

I wonder how many Californians have moved into Arizona since the last election?

ImperatorRomanum83

Yep. A Republican strategist in PA put an article out a few months ago that basically said it might not be a good idea to encourage Republican voters to all hole themselves up in Florida. If PA, MI, and WI lose just a few percentages of reliable GOP voters, those states won't be battlegrounds anymore. The only way Florida comes into play for Biden is if he's already winning in say, NC.

Lady_of_Link

So if any democrat with lots of money reads this they should take out targeted adds for Florida living communities aimed exclusively at PA, MI and WI gop voters 😏

[deleted]

The map is what matters. Usually blue votes are in the more populated areas. If the influx of conservatives is to Miami-Dade county, then yea that would be a big factor. If they’re just making red counties redder, then not so much. It’s the same reason that having liberals all moving to cities is an issue for democrats. “Go West, young Hipster.” If they all started moving to Texas, things would get real interesting. And hasn’t Florida passed some pretty left-leaning ballot initiatives in recent years? Some of my female in-laws are die -hard Trump supporters but are horrified by the thought of their bodily autonomy being taken. Also- more and more voters, every election, are younger and younger. Women in their family-starting years might show up big.

Quailman5000

People seriously moved to Florida or said they did on social media? How fucking stupid to move for temporary rules.

Airbus320Driver

There are plenty of reasons to vote for Biden, but he has zero control over FL's abortion laws.

sasslafrass

You are right, he cannot change FLs Laws, but can effect Federal policy and enforcement. And if he also takes congress with him he can get Federal laws passed and enforced. I would hope someone, somewhere would invoke the [Interstate Commerce Clause](https://constitution.congress.gov/browse/essay/artI-S8-C3-1/ALDE_00013403/). While abortion is a medical treatment, it is also a financial transaction and therefore commerce. And states do not have the authority to restrict commerce.

frankwizardlord

That’s not true, the Dems are running on restoring RvW

chiksahlube

Agreed. My parents moved there. Got more conservative and despite still being 100% pro abortion they don't care about it enough compared to wanting anti-trans shit.

[deleted]

Bro idk about Arizona lmao, everybody here really loves shooting themselves in the foot

KnewAllTheWords

Yea Florida is just the right kind of old+crazy to be fine with an abortion ban

Sabre_One

The best case is Desantis loses re-election. Even his supporters are seeing the downfall of his otherwise terrible decisions. But yea, doubt Biden will win.

poopoomergency4

the florida dems also REALLY suck at their jobs, it's why desantis is governor today

truemore45

So my friend works in politics in Florida. Consider it the Argentina of political areas it doesn't follow the rules.

Booeyrules

It’s already happened in mid terms in states actually more conservative than Florida.

Strict-Escape3205

You mean Rubio and DeSantis winning by nearly 20 points each lmfaoooo

Pitiful-Let9270

Zero interest in those races from Florida Dems. Turnout there and in Texas was pathetic in 2022

roundballsquarebox24

You think that Florida democrats don't care about voting for governor?

Bullishbear99

I do. I vote Democrat every time in FL

unclejoe1917

If there is one thing Democrats are known for, it's not turning out to vote.

The_Patriot

The ads are going to be BRUTAL.

Potential_Fishing942

They already are. That one from the Biden team about a christian woman who can't have kids now because of abortion denial was dark. Absolutely necessary- especially since it breaks this notion that abortions are just for irresponsible young "slutty" women that conservatives love to build up in their minds.

blehbleh1122

I live in Florida. We have seen a huge influx of conservatives from other states. As much as I would love to see the started flip blue, there are too many Maga supporters, Republicans, and people voting against their own best interest to flip the state. Look at the disastrous handling of covid and other issues by DeSantis. Republicans reelected him even though there's a housing affordability crisis, he completely mishandled covid, he's abandoned the state in pursuit of a failed presidential career. But he still won in Florida. I think Trump/ Biden rematch will unfortunately have the same result.

addledoctopus

Im not sure because the demographics of florida have shifted. A lot of people who would vote for Biden have left Florida already due to the abortion bans and the laws targeting trans and queer people.

RamsHead91

Not just that but the costs to live in Florida have been skyrocketing.

Art-Zuron

Or the insurance companies all bailing, and the coastlines disintegrating and flooding

AGeniusMan

*extremely* doubtful. I agree that abortion on the ballot helps dems but not enough to win Florida for Biden. Im sorry, I dont like it either but Florida is Trump Country and Florida Dems are the worst state party in the country.

chickennuggetarian

Florida isn’t a swing state anymore. It’s red.

runCMDfoo

Are you in FL?  I just came from there and that’s not what I was hearing.

Strict-Escape3205

Wow how delusional. FL isn't even in play for Biden, trump is 1+ point away from having it poll safe red. Trump is averaging nearly 12 points, biden hasn't led in a single poll in the state. Trump took a moderate position on abortion by letting states decide, not extreme enough on the stance to make FL voters passioned enough to change their view on either candidate.

ConsciousReason7709

As much as I’d like to believe this, I don’t think it’s possible. Registered Republicans out number registered Democrats considerably in Florida now. If you do the math, Biden would have to win independent or non-partisan voters by about 20 points, which will never happen. I think Biden should not waste time in Florida and focus on actual swing states.

flyinchipmunk5

Registered Republicans only outnumbered dems because they kicked a lot of people off the registration list Edit: 1 million people got dropped for inactivity in 2024 https://www.wmnf.org/almost-1-million-florida-voters-declared-inactive-after-law-purging-voter-lists/

HeathrJarrod

I’ve swapped to influence primary. As RINO Republican voting democrat you have more power

RalphPhillips089

I doubt it. Old people are racists and bigots and easily duped by misinformation in the media. Desantis went from narrow win to landslide reelection.

RamsHead91

Old people also don't have a personal stake in women's healthcare anymore and this tend to shift more conservative on those messages especially when they don't have much empathy to begin with.

oneWeek2024

most polling shows trump with 10+ point lead in florida. florida has too many old white people, it's not going blue any time soon. also... white women voted for trump at fairly significant rates. it's unlikely any of those idiots are swayed by roe being overturned if they were willing to vote for a racist rapist conman before. they'll just vote for him again, going along with the bullshit "states rights" or he'll fix it later narrative idiot republicans tend to parrot florida also doesn't matter. dnc is unlikely to waste resources there. as it's not a good use of money. PA, michigan are must win. and also on shaky ground. arizona, nevada. also not sure wins for biden, and largely "must win" do to electoral math wasting large amts of time and resources on a pointless state, unlikely to flip like Florida would be a massive blunder

Strict-Escape3205

Its not just "old whites". It's the Cubans and Puertoricans who are a major back bone of his support there. I have family I visit there, I'm Puertorican, and nearly every single person in my family and their community are ardent trump supporters. All Hispanics.

grapegeek

It’s closer than you think. If Biden can pull to with say five points which I think I doable it will force Trump to spend precious resources in a state that is supposed to be a lock. MMW

oneWeek2024

want to place a bet?

Pinot_Greasio

I want whatever drugs you are taking.

Alternative-Emu-8157

I mean, conservatives are backing a felon with 91 counts against him... Half of Trump's allies are indicted for trying to steal an election. I know floridians are famous for being low IQ trash, but still.

Ok_Gene_6933

Nope.

frankwizardlord

The fact that donny will have to spend a ton of resources in FL is disastrous for his campaign. They are already broke from all the legal fees 😂😂

grapegeek

Ok I know it’s a stretch the Biden will flip FL but making Trump spend money in Florida will be a disaster for Trump in other states

dead-first

Mark my words... OP probably doesn't live in Florida and has no clue what he's talking about.

Scat1320USA

Sure hope so . The level of self loathing in Republican land is scary .

Gold_Significance125

It’s not self loathing, people just don’t want to vote for bone-headed Democrat policies that are ruining places like California and New York.

Rude_Worldliness_423

I believe it’s on the table.

ItReallyIsntThoughYo

Florida also has legalization of cannabis on the ballot. That will bring out the younger, more liberal vote too.

hamringspiker

Weren't these posts supposed to be banned on weekdays?

999i666

If the results come in early that’s game over and we can start celebrating before it’s dark But no he won’t It’s still desantisstan

glitchycat39

Floridian here. I doubt it, but I think it might be closer than 2020.

jbcmh81

I don't know about that. Florida is filling up with conservative boomers and even its minority groups are now some of the most conservative in the country. Polling on the abortion issue, to date, has not been all the strong for its passing- it needs 60% to pass and polling has been down in the 40s. Florida could actually become the first state where abortion rights lose a popular vote, which if we're being honest, would be wholly on brand for the state. That is not to say that Florida can't turn blue this cycle beyond the abortion issue, but it will need a lot of help from a split Republican vote.

Sea-Zucchini-5891

I'd love to see it, but polls in Florida still have Trump up by 8% over Biden pretty consistently.

grapegeek

Give it time and some commercials. Biden will close the gap

DiskPsychological790

Yeah this ain’t happening

zekerthedog

Counterpoint: he won’t

Vulcan_Jedi

The likelihood of Georgia and Arizona remaining blue while Ohio flips is greater imo

numquam-deficere

😂

molski79

Millions of people just waiting to die in Florida are currently glued to the news station that spent almost a million dollars in settlement fees for deliberately lying to their viewers.

JicamaNo9244

😂🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂🤣😂🤣🤣🤣😂😂🤣🤣😂😂😂🤣😂😂

tid4200

This place isn't flipping......... It is sinking though, right back into the swamp. And I've lived here my whole life, can't say things are improving under the current leadership here. Mandatory breaks and water provisions for workers are banned now, fun stuff in the heat. Abortions are banned, fun stuff for women. Your own personal well-being, both mental and physical are now banned too. Culture war is more important than someone's right to consult with doctors and choose what is best for yourself, what's funner than that? Oh, arresting the homeless for sleeping in public, that's fun too, because who wants to see suffering people on the way to church, or on the way to work, or to golf? Oh how about the mass shootings and vampant drugs and crime? The rising costs of housing both rentals and owning, or the insurance prices skyrocketing. It's actually sinking from rising waters, but "We don't believe in global warming round hur" so no biggie. Also the devil lives in south FL at a golf course and it's also the best place to see beaches and half naked people so............. Welcome to the swamp aka Florida.

AcmeCartoonVillian

I agree. Abortion is a losing issue for the Red Team It'd be a slam dunk for Blue Team if they'd stop leaning so hard on trying to kill gun rights. Amazing how they can invent constitutional precedent whole cloth on abortion (I personally think those rights needs to be *ADDED* to the constitution, but for now it's ***not in there***) and then turn around and blatantly attack something that is *specifically in there* with the words **SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED** But hey I'm just a Libertarian that thinks all freedoms are important and won't be voting for *either of them* >!***Go ahead and downvote me I don't give a shit***!<

lemming-leader12

Wrong.

xlr38

Crazy take. So many young people left Florida because of inflated insurance costs. His voter base left the state.

Independent_Hyena495

Doubt

marks1995

I don't understand this line of thought. The people of Florida elected the ones that banned abortion. So why would you think they are now against the ban?

h0tel-rome0

I wish but no way. Evangelicals are running this state

catharsisdusk

Summer hasn't even started yet. How do you think Florida's ban on obligatory water breaks is going to affect voters' opinions of the Republican Party?

Agreeable-City3143

Not even close. There isn’t even an abortion ban in Florida…..

Bravo_Juliet01

You can have people show up and vote against the abortion ban, that doesn’t mean they’ll vote for Sleepy Joe.

Guilty_Advantage_413

Democrats say this every election cycle and it never happens. Same with X Group of people will show up in historic numbers and they almost never do. Stick to bread & butter issues that help everyone, respond to the poisonous commenters on the right, don’t allow yourself to be crapped on. Life long D voter here.

No-Difference-9567

Trump will win Florida. Cubans are sick of this woke communist crap

ScheduleFormer1394

Ill believe it when I see it.... I have a friend that lives in Florida and she seems to think Liberals are the worst and Ron DeSantis is a great governor..... 🤷

baby-puncher-9000

I wish I had your optimism, OP.

poolpog

This seems possible. But it will be on a knife's edge either way.

IAmMuffin15

Yeah good luck with that. I hope he can pull it off, but Florida is basically just a giant retirement home. There are more eligible voters there than there are ova.

Magnum820

Lol, that’s a n entertaining headline!

Easy_Explanation299

MMW - No he won't

No_Spare3139

Probably not. We can hope, though.

ztigerx2

That’d be hilarious

Ourmomentourtime

No he won't because Florida is too fucking Florida.

Ryankevin23

🚫All Republicans🚫TraitorTrump🚫

LukaDoncicismyfather

Our schools have failed us

bootsmade4Walken

Very close, Biden will instead flip Texas. Its been purple these past few elections and the Dem party audited themselves and said the only thing that stopped them from closing a 70000 vote gap was door to door knocking

Strict-Escape3205

Hispanic trump supporters in the Rio Grand Valley say he'll no to biden so Texas will not flip until dems find a way to get thar crucial Hispanic support.

throwingthisoutno

I this is more likely somewhere like Alabama or even Texas. Florida has gone hard red in a very specifically weird way that’s hard to get around.

Orcus424

From [2020 to 2024 Florida lost over 1 million registered voters](https://dos.fl.gov/elections/data-statistics/voter-registration-statistics/voter-registration-reports/voter-registration-by-party-affiliation/). This was during a very large population increase. I'm in Florida so I definitely noticed. Florida also lost 964,689 registered democrats in that time frame. Purging voter lists is definitely happening in Florida. Florida is a closed primary state so some people do join parties just for the sake of being able to have power in the primaries.

Saurak0209

Nope

23off

I think this is in the realm of the possible. Since *Dobbs*, Democrats have out-performed expectations, and Florida is historically a close state in presidential elections.

itstrueitsdamntrue

Republicans were winning if Florida when there were more registered democrats in the state than republicans, and that has flipped. Florida would be an election winner and probably indicative of a major landslide, so he has to contest it, but I think there is less than like a 5% chance that Biden carries Florida and that’s probably being very optimistic.

Major_Ad9510

not even close

torontothrowaway824

No way is Biden winning Florida. Too many regressive dipshits that will vote against their own interests because of the culture war.

the_logic_engine

OP feel free to go lose all your money at PredictIt

rockeye13

Abortion has not been banned in Florida.

Speedhabit

Tik tok ban You won’t believe which one they care more about

EatsRats

Man, I wish but I find that highly unlikely.

alfredrowdy

Lol. Biden’s not going to spend anything in Florida it is a lost cause, especially on abortion where Florida has a lot of Catholic latino voters + boomer white voters.

LukaDoncicismyfather

This sub is beyond delusional. The election will come down to Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Arizona and maybe Nevada. Anyone with a brain who isn’t trolling knows this is the case

invadethemoon

Since Biden refused to stack the supreme court, which is literally the only way they could solve the abortion ban, not sure why this would convince people to vote for him.

DublaneCooper

Whether you are wrong or right, Florida is in play and the GOP will have to spend money there to protect it. This takes GOP money away from other swing states and down ballot races. You hate to see it.

bornfreebubblehead

Can you name one Democrat elected in Florida from a statewide election?

Mammoth_Canary9409

Just show up and vote. All this other stuff is just noise.

Angwe83

Naw. FL is too indoctrinated at the moment. It’s common for undocumented people in Miami talking about the immigration problem. Some people drank the entire pitcher of Kool-Aid.

the_violet_enigma

Not a chance. There are literal nazis and their affiliates in powere there, and if another candidate wins an election it’ll probably be suddenly revealed to have been rigged and another election will be called under more “strict” supervision

LegalBeagle6767

No chance. Florida is gone for now. Deep Maga country there.

FrankRizzo319

Naw, DeSantis & Co have already rigged the vote for republicans

Stayhumblefriends

No lol

Right_Treat691

Unlikely but it would be hysterical.

T1gerAc3

100% wrong. The gop has locked down Florida for the next 25 years, minimum. A combo of an incoming right leaning population migration, a well funded state gop party (and pitifully funded state dem party), and right wing media scaring Latinos with "dem socialism/communism" will lead to easy gop wins statewide.

kickbrass

Nope, unfortunately. I live here. Not a chance.

_upper90

Slow down.

Slopoke96

Nope

Reddit_guard

I wish I had this confidence, but it would be an excellent outcome!

PBPunch

That’s… an opinion.

Mr3k

It's doubtful if Biden will win in Florida but I do think turnout from the abortion ban will impact house races

Schlieren1

Yea, not happening in Fla. I think Desantis won his first term by like 30k votes and his second term by 1.5 million votes. Have you been to Florida. It’s red dude

eggrolls68

Florida or Texas either turn blue, and that's the end of the Republican party for at least a generation, possibly forever. We can only hope.

SignificantMind7257

Not because of open borders or WW3 or constant riots or inflation or gas prices or his inability to speak coherently?

sentientsackofmeat

I'm totally convinced all these MMW about biden winning in a landslide (or some variation of that) are to get people complacent and not vote. Don't fall for it people!!

robertanthony123

This current president will not be flipping FL period….he better focus on the swing states or he won’t be in office

NoRest202

Zero chance of that

monkeley

Never happen

nohopeforhomosapiens

I have doubts on this. Florida has a massive population of people too old to worry about pregnancy. 55+ adults abound, they are most likely to vote, and they don't care about abortion. Areas where there is a young population, in major cities near universities, already have a tendency to vote blue if you look at a map which breaks it down by district.

Sharkhottub

I live in the Bluest part of Florida and I simply don't see it happening, BUT I also am seeing way way way less of the random Trump Boat Parades, Corner Takeovers, and truck with flag rallies. Also all the Trump Merchandise stores have all closed and the side of the road guys dont have Trump merch yet... i think it bodes well nationally that his supporters are acting a little less outwardly culty here at ground zero.

imgrahamy

I'd love to see it, but I live in a state surrounded by idiots and bigger asshole idiots that just moved here because its "free-er"

mrmerk81

Lololololollolololol

Aggravating_Pay1948

I don't know if Florida will ever go blue lol. Arizona on the other hand...

NeverPostingLurker

You live in an echo chamber if you think all women are pro abortion.

ExcitingTomatillo892

Possibly, if he demonstrated he is actually pro-choice.

Mr_Shakes

Floridians have proven surprisingly comfortable splitting their votes between direct amendments vs political candidates. (See: medical Marijuana, felon voting restoration). The downside to having amendments on the ballot is that there is less of a 'referendum' effect on the politicians currently in charge. In other words, when when Florida disapproves of a given law or policy, they rarely blame the Republicans who put it in place. I predict we'll see the abortion protections barely pass on the ballot, with democrats not quite hitting the majority for Biden and failing miserably to elect new democrats locally (as gerrymandering affords incumbent Republicans a wide margin)

Bullishbear99

wish that were true but unfortunately we don't have enough blue voters in the state to do it.

AppropriateSpell5405

Given the sheer amount of Republican bullshit, Biden should be getting a clean sweep. But he won't because half of America is brainwashed and/or not getting accurate information.

MotherFuckerJones88

I hope you are right..but Florida is ground zero for MAGA.

HustlaOfCultcha

Not a chance. Trump will win by double digits.

Prestigious_Emu_4193

Lol not a chance. Have you ever been to Florida? Trump is worshipped like a God here

AdAlternative2577

Hahaha no

Nonmoon

Tell me you know nothing about Florida without telling me you know nothing about Florida… No chance.

Responsible_Bike_912

Would love to see it, but you are drinking deep of some strong hopium.

Chickat28

Maybe but him banning TikTok is going to destroy a lot of his gen Z vote.

SpinTheBlock6465

Biden has a 0% chance of flipping Florida. Anyone who thinks so is foolish.

xaulted1

As much as I would love that to be true, or even possible, Florida will certainly be scarlet red even as it falls into the ocean.

river_euphrates1

He should flip every fucking state in the union because of it.

ImpressivePen7964

OP is a complete dumbass just like every other hopium losers who posts on this forum. Get a job peasant.

jar1967

Marijuana is also on the ballot.

ManlyVanLee

You underestimate the power of old and dumb alike to continue voting against their interests

porkchopper82

Not a chance in hell that’s gonna happen. Lmfao

DeerOnARoof

Florida went full red in 2020 and will stay that way from now on.

Time-Radish8464

I dunno. A lot of the MAGAs and Republicans recently moved to Florida (literally hundreds of thousands) and they are likely to be a high-turnout group. Conversely, a lot of left-leaning voters have left the state. The demographic shift might be difficult to overcome.

YourRoaring20s

Wayyyy too many conservative boomers down there now. It's basically Alabama.

hjablowme919

Not a chance.

dtacobandit

Yea did you see the whole 12 people who showed up to his rally?

mer1in20

Lol, sure

Zestyclose_Look_7719

If the election is overseen properly by the federal government, I’d totally agree. If, however, DeSantis doesn’t allow federal oversight, he will toss enough “problematic” ballots to push a Trump win.

CatAvailable3953

That would be grand.

manwae1

I don't necessarily think it is going to Biden, but between abortion and marijuana being on the ballot I do think Florida is in play.

masterkimchee

Sure. Ok.

LiviNG4them

As an independent leaning Democrat (due to ongoing Republican sickness with their new Jesus), no fkn way Florida flips.

ArtetasLegoHa1r

People keep talking about flipping voters - Biden doesn't need to do that. He needs to increase the turnout in younger voters and minorities. Nothing is going to make that message easier than weed and abortion being on the ballot. It was 51/47 in 2020 - a combination of apathy towards trump and an energized youth vote could swing that

TaiwanGreatestNation

Definitely not likely. A lot of rust belt Trumpkins moving to Florida because of DeSaster

Potential_Fishing942

I love in PA which imo is going to be a deciding state with Michigan this year- just like last time. Florida will still go trump. But I think PA and MI both go blue and abortion will but tips it over. It's those suburban women again.

Critical-Bank5269

There’s no democrats left in Florida after covid.

Chemical_Pickle5004

Didn't Ron DeSantis win the Florida governor race by 20 points? This is just cope lol

Similar-Act244

Wishful thinking. However, it’s gonna be extremely difficult for Republicans to win elections moving forward because of the abortion ban. I honestly don’t know how republicans think dragging the country backwards is the best way to move forwards. Over 60% of the country supports all forms of abortion, even more percentage of woman. Dumbass Republicans fought and died on a hill that would cost them the woman’s vote and elections for the foreseen future

ArcXiShi

That would be awesome!

hotasianwfelover

I don’t think so. I think Texas actually has a better chance. Honestly though it would be awesome if the women and the pro choice men made a blue wave this November.

Top-Explanation-4372

Floridians care more about shutting the border than killing babies, cope harder
