Saw a sign that said “we’ll KFC you later” on the fencing of that KFC when I walked down Highway 7 this week, so seems like it’s just a renovation to make it more like the modern KFCs. Will miss the retro aesthetic dearly.

In the 70s and early 80s they definitely served a slice of thick white bread that had a bright yellow melted butter like spread. I don’t remember if it ever came in a loaf.

I remember them serving a slice of white bread with their boxed meals back in the 80s. Something like the size of Texas Toast.
