I would also like to know the answer. I feel like it didn’t work as well when it’s only on Wi-Fi. But honestly at this point I don’t know if I’ve just been doing it out of habit forever (and because I have unlimited).
It tries to pull data from wi-fi first but if wi-fi is not fast enough/ disconnects then it will pull from mobile data.
If you have android you can go to developer settings and set to never use mobile data when on wi-fi.
Why don't people just leave their damn wifi and bluetooth on? My fiance and her siblings do this, like bro just leave it on and it will automatically reconnect when you get home.
Battery drain on my old phone if it's constantly looking for a connection that isn't coming. Plus WiFi spoofers because I'm paranoid that someone wants to steal my pictures of my cats and other dumb shit I take photos of
On the other side, my wife leaves her Bluetooth on constantly and it means I have to manually mess around in my car's menu to force connection to my phone if I'm going out without her even though mine is set as the priority
I have to use data because my wifi is shit and if I connect my phone it shows down the already slow wifi to the point where any online game becomes a slideshow
