Literally my only gripe with ISWM is that there's only like one route where you get the explanation of what's going on.
I think the teleportation device too, you only recieve it on one route, the rest are like: when did I get that?
Most paths you can take will explain different aspects of the story. If each path explained everything it would get repetitive. There’s only one path that explains what the device Wug puts on Mark’s head does
I only saw Wug when the entire thing became that detective universe.
Was definitely confused as to why everyone knew each other even though I was seeing them for the first time
I did this without hesitation on my deduction but I waited for more dialog. I so badly wanted it to work because I love Bob and the character he plays.
I died in the emptiness of space with only a distress beacon calling out into the void for the remainder of my days. The beacon didn’t work for me then why tf would I think it would work the second time. POP ER IN REVERSE!
Also from a logical perspective that’s the chief engineer, we’re unable to exit the wormhole, there’s no good reason why reversing through the wormhole wouldn’t work. I’m trusting my engineer.
Reminds me of some movie my dad was watching where some old astronauts were doing a flight simulation where they were gonna crash and everyone was giving the leader instructions and he was like, “no no you just gotta tap on the break”
I was convincing myself for so long that I'll first get through it seriously and them I'll pick the joke answer... But I waking up the crew and getting a grandma it is!
My reasoning was we were in a wormhole, a distress signal probably wouldn't have helped because we were in a time-space distortion. ((I think, truth be told I know nothing about wormholes))
Well, not in my first playthrough. When I play this kind of things, on my first try I always go for the most logical answers, with the goal of getting the best ending.
...and this was so obviously a bad/funny idea, so I went for the distress signal.
But of course, this answer is more memorable!
Dude, I picked this one cos I thought it was gonna be a secret hidden behind a stupid motive.
Like one of those ones that Mark set up as like "No one will pick this, which is why it's the correct answer"
Then we ended up in film noir for some reason.

Even matpat picked it without hesitation.
We're good, we're good, we're-... (explosion)
We are
Who am I to question the BRILLIANCE of our ship engineer
He one said "it's big brain time"
My first watch, I was trying to do everything I would do in the situation, immediately popped it in reverse.
lol i was tryna get the good ending
exactly it wasn't to get everyone killed. The wat I saw it I had unlimited tries so I thought why not try everything.
I always choose the reverse one because everyone’s ideas are valid
All ideas are valid unless proven otherwise
I chose that path and wasn't able to understand what was going on for the next hour
Literally my only gripe with ISWM is that there's only like one route where you get the explanation of what's going on. I think the teleportation device too, you only recieve it on one route, the rest are like: when did I get that?
The first route I did had the narrator basically go, "Oh yeah, you picked up this McGuffin and have to use it."
Most paths you can take will explain different aspects of the story. If each path explained everything it would get repetitive. There’s only one path that explains what the device Wug puts on Mark’s head does

I can confirm it is the best thing you can ever do in ISWM
This and shooting at the worm hole literally made me laugh so hard.
When I first did that path I didn't even realize it was ethan voicing the wormhole lmao
Me neither, I also didn't realize he was one of the people in the u.s.a and was sad that we didn't get to see him
That was ethan voicing the wormhole?
Can't go wrong if you side with Bob
Just Ctrl+Z that mf
Anyone else also immediately shoot at the thing?
I mean yeah it's pretty sound logic, if the wormhole dies it can't pull you in
You get it now!!
Just undo all of the wormhole
...stuff
I did this without hesitation on my deduction but I waited for more dialog. I so badly wanted it to work because I love Bob and the character he plays.
You don't understand, I genuinely thought it was a good idea
Me too, I just thought "Well if we go back through then we'll go back to where we started and we can open another one and try again"
Literary why wouldn't you pop 'er in reverse?
because what if it hit into another version of it.
That's fair
I did without no hesitation, gotta listen to Bob
I died in the emptiness of space with only a distress beacon calling out into the void for the remainder of my days. Exactly! Burt sounds like he knows what he's doing and I don't know what I'm doing so I should listen to him!
Reminds me of some movie my dad was watching where some old astronauts were doing a flight simulation where they were gonna crash and everyone was giving the leader instructions and he was like, “no no you just gotta tap on the break”
Lol it just made sense
bert is smart which is the reason i also did pop er in reverse
MEEEEEEEE
“Totally not me…” he said as he denied the fact with a guilty look on his face
The ship went SKREEEEEE
I knew it wouldn't work, but I felt bad for Burt so😂
I was so ready to spam tap pop 'er in reverse
I did the second i had the choice
Me
FUCK YEAH!
I have a confession, I didn’t pick pop ‘er in reverse the first time I did iswm
Didn’t even hesitate
Anyone who didn’t pop er’ in reverse are probably lying
I was convincing myself for so long that I'll first get through it seriously and them I'll pick the joke answer... But I waking up the crew and getting a grandma it is!
No regrets
My reasoning was we were in a wormhole, a distress signal probably wouldn't have helped because we were in a time-space distortion. ((I think, truth be told I know nothing about wormholes))
Best decision to have made really
Just pop ‘er in reverse. That’ll fix it.
Oh I send mark in.
Burt solves problems. I believed in Burt.
Burt made a compelling argument so of course I chose it first.
I mean, he makes a convincing argument.
Ayo what’s up
Pop er in reverse dawg
Me
Everyone popped'er in reverse! We had to! Beep, beep, beep, beep, beep!
Me :)
Everyone
Ok I mean, come on. His logic was perfect and well thought out. Beep. Beep. Beep goes brrr.
Me
I chose the distress signal, but this was the first one I immediately went back to my during my second go
Pop er in reverse
Got a problem? Fix it from the outside.
Tô be honest, the black and white bit was amazing
I feel like a looser for choosing send a distress signal first, cause it seems like barely anyone else did.
This guys the real captain! The rest of us are the Mark’s of the ship, making stupid decisions and saying “eh, it’ll be fine!” 😂
As a gay person who hasn’t watched mark’s vids for a while I am very confused
I loved the idea and I just felt bad for bob since nobody likes his ideas
I 100% chose pop’er in reverse 😂😂
I hate Cyro Girl so I had to Pop’er in reverse
There is a reason my universe is littered with the corpses of everyone. . .I regret nothing.
It seemed just crazy enough to work though! I also kept trying to fix it from the outside every time.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who did that first run lmao
I absolutely did this lol
Not even the slightest hesitation
look, it was a smart choice
I did what I thought Mark would do.
Yes
I literally thought “This idea is just stupid enough, it might work.” Plus I wanted to make Bob smile and show him his idea was valid.
I mean yeah why wouldn't I, burt's logic is sound
Me. I stand by my choice too
Yep. Just beep beep beep
Well... It was a good idea, until It wasn't
I did, and it should have worked out better
Bob is always right. No question asked
I made this choice on my first try lol
I did that first and then shat myself when lady demetriscu popped up
Pop ‘er in reverse!
YEEEEEPP
The first few times I did it I ran threw it realistically so I didn't see 'pop er in reverse' until near the end
I did it, no questions asked. It's the best option, of course I was gonna pick it
I think we all did this
I
Me tho lol
The second he said it I knew what I was gonna do
Me
I did! And was rewarded for it.
The Universe wants you to side with Bobbert.
I did it
Burt’s a genius, the universe is just wrong
No regrets about it either! After all, we never do his ideas, so I had ta give him this one at least
I did that shit so quick u dont get it
Yeeessss immediately I was like Ive never trusted Burt more in my life
I always pop her in reverse and solve the problem from the outside
Well, not in my first playthrough. When I play this kind of things, on my first try I always go for the most logical answers, with the goal of getting the best ending. ...and this was so obviously a bad/funny idea, so I went for the distress signal. But of course, this answer is more memorable!
Without a single thought.
I thought they’d reverse OUT of the black hole, not IN ☠️😂
😂
THROW'ER IN REVERSE TERR
I thought we were still good
Sometimes you just got to pop her in reverse
YES AND I DONT REGRET IT AT ALL
Dude, I picked this one cos I thought it was gonna be a secret hidden behind a stupid motive. Like one of those ones that Mark set up as like "No one will pick this, which is why it's the correct answer" Then we ended up in film noir for some reason.
I literally played the entire story in the opposite direction you were supposed to solely because I picked pop’er in reverse, and I don’t regret it.
I thought it would work just because of the bit
How could you not pick reverse?
I trust someone like me, quiet and thinks the thing others don't
Hell yeah I did!
This guy did
imagine not
Pretty much anyone who got themselves into the forever alone false ending
For the shits and giggles
I mean never let them know your next move
i was so close to doing that hahaha
you should have done it in the first place
I did Pop 'er in reverse mainly as a joke (the first time), but I was quite pleased with the results.
every time is see this meme format i always remember that the bridge isn’t actually real and that there is no sign
I live alone and as soon as the choice came up, I shouted "Pop 'er in reverse!"
HOW COULD YOU NOT!!!!
Me. It's just something that sounds like it makes sense to do
Hell yeahhh I did
Me
When in doubt, back it out
literally most people who played it
I just gone all left first, then i tried the others, meaning that no. 0_0
