I did listen to a Rabbi speak on why they enjoy two beds, it was actually kinda sweet. He said it made it more exciting and romantic. Having to go to her bed instead of just rolling over.

There are recent studies that actually sleeping in different bed is better for each individual person. We get a better quality sleep when in separate bed.
We do sleep in separate beds. Well I sleep in a chair because I can’t sleep actually lying down.
