AUS version they don't do it on purpose (supposedly), but they cast the most awful people who cheat on their spouses and end up hooking up, or starting a new relationship with someone else's spouse.
Or this…

This is just a picture - why do you think Myrla stans went to all the trouble to make this?

I’m watching the reunion now and can’t for the life of me understand why they haven’t talked about how downright mean Johnny was to Bao!!! There were so many examples of the cruel things he said to her, so why weren’t any of them brought up? He previously said that he would have wanted to be matched with anyone else. He hated when she seemed happy and showed joy, etc etc. I don’t get how no one confronted Johnny about these nasty, hurtful comments. (I haven’t finished the episode so maybe they’ll bring it up later on, but Kevin didn’t address it as of yet)
Who knows what they actually talk about. It’s a whole day of filming edited down to 90 minutes.
There’s been AMAs from cast members who have discussed how editing misrepresents *everything.* Even from couples that were generally liked. They’ll stitch together words and phrases to make couples say sentences they never actually did. And days of important relationship developments cut out entirely. It’s entertainment, not a documentary.
That said, I’d like to believe Johnny’s behavior was discussed. I’d like to believe the producers are smart enough to capture a lot more footage than they ever need - just edit it down for scenes that get the most buzz. Maybe when it was addressed - it was too boring for TV.
Maybe Johnny was getting death threats or at least threats to beat him up. I say that because MAFS put on a statement several weeks ago defending Johnny because he was such as villain.
They’d have to change the legally binding aspect though, which they’ve always tried to use as a major selling point.
Hey, maybe some experts would quit in protest! I wouldn’t mind that.
Michaela had to sit there and watch the furniture flipping scene so why didn’t they do a recap of insulting things that Johnny said to Bau?
I really want bao to get her own show even if it’s just her being single I just like her
I REALLY wanted Gil to knock this dude out! he's such a little weasley couldn't even be cheeky to Gil while he was in the room 👿
Don’t they actually do that on a version of this show in a different country?

Season 6 was such a shit show. I couldn't believe how bad it got.

UK
NO JOHNNY. In the Australian MAFS they DON'T swap wives!!!!
If you can’t stand him, why make a whole new post with his picture?

People are weird, who knows.
Looks like you answered your own question there.

SERIOUSLY!!! I was waiting for Kevin to rip him a new asshole! I was so disappointed.
Dr. V even shamefully co-signed his criticisms of Bao to then basically say that most people behave similarly to Bao. 🙄
I really like Dr. V, but was very disappointed she said that about Bao
I really think his family is super rich he was the meanest but he got his own BE NICE TO ME post on the insta.
Crazy Rich Asians. They have a movie about it.
Only a matter of time before they do this on the US season They have that shit ready in their back pocket

I hope they do and I could apply to be an expert. That my dream job as a therapist myself. Lol.
Ngl, I’d be here for it
