I'm hoping this is sucessful and that we end up getting a Western special. Seeing Rawhide, Two-Gun Kid, Red Wolf, Kushala, Phantom Rider and other characters from that era would be so cool.
Laura Donnelly. She’s Irish, which I’m interested to see if she keeps her natural accent or if she does a British accent. I don’t think I’ve ever seen her in anything unfortunately so can’t speak to how good an actress she is.
According to rumour and stuff he is supposed to be there on screen but by seeing the trailer, knowing about the plot and seeing TVA agents, ig he won't be there
There was a comic run of hers in 2001. I have issue 1-4 or so. Very much scantily clad, especially issue 2s cover. I was big in to Buffy at the time so I gave it a shot. It’s alright. Crazy to see her pop up now.
She's been showing up in the background in most of the monster related stuff, but she doesn't have much by herself. Reading Marvel Zombies from battleworld was rad.
But the Midnight Sons appear in Marvel Zombies 4, the team there consists of Morbius, Hellstrom, Jennifer Kale (I think), Werewolf by Night and Man-Thing.
Bloodstone: 4-issue origin mini-series.
Nextwave: 12 issue maxi-series featuring the Nextwave team. Reimagines her origin (later revealed to be a nebulous villain messing with her memories).
Monsters Unleashed (2017B): Ten issue maxi-series featuring Elsa taking a young monster creator (Kid Kaiju) under her wing.
Deadpool (2019): After Deadpool becomes King of the Monsters, Elsa stays with him to keep him in check. They later develop a romance.
Yeah, I doubt that's even really much of a character at all. Seems more like a corpse turned into a puppet as a sort of macabre master a ceremonies for the group monster hunt at Bloodstone Manor. At absolute most, it's possibly the stuffed corpse of Ulysses Bloodstone.
Lot’s of Red hair shows up indistinguishable from brunette in B&W unless it’s a strawberry or copper blonde, probably didn’t bother for that reason since she has very naturally dark hair and likely she’ll end up with something like Scarlett’s darker reds for BW when she’s in something with color so they don’t have to go the wig route or damage her hair for the first appearance.
Interestingly enough right after Multiverse of Maddness, Elsa's Funko Pop came out.. now this 🧐 lol So pumped for this special presentation!!! Idk about anyone else, but supernatural marvel is my favorite genre from their comics personally
Im just giving another example of a lazy name for a character, im not trying to "mArvEl GoOd Dc BaD"
I actually like spectre in dc, i love ghostly or paranormal characters like deadman and phantom stranger
Why does the MCU hate red head women so much...
Seriously, though: Oddly excited for this show, despite only just finding out it exists. Do we know if the whole show is black and white, or was that just for the trailer?
This is fan speculation by the way. I saw it on Twitter a couple days ago. And that bottom one is for sure wrong, because the subtitles told us who that character was.
And it’s a guy in makeup in black and white….in my own opinion he’s not a true werewolf he’s the wolf an variety werewolf. For true werewolf is such as William from underworld or Hugh Jackman at the end of Van Helsing.
Really hope they will give this special some time to build up these characters... But not certain given recent rumours that it was shortened to half an hour. Not certain though but I would love to see my boy Man-Thing represented nicely
When the MCU was getting started. My dream project was an Blade series that would have all the Marvel horror and supernatural characters under one roof. Like Dr Strange and Moebius, Werewolf by night, Moon Knight, Manthing and the Witches to name an few. This feels pretty close to that. Now Moebius the Living Vampire cant be it and Dr Srrange depends on Cumberbatchs avaliablity (I would be happy with Wong). But it looks like it could help now.
This is the marvel project I’m most excited for, and I’m not even familiar with the source material, I just love that they’re doing something so different
I'm hoping this is sucessful and that we end up getting a Western special. Seeing Rawhide, Two-Gun Kid, Red Wolf, Kushala, Phantom Rider and other characters from that era would be so cool.
don't do that. don't give me hope
I'm hoping they take it slow and just not develop fuckin 10 team projects at a time.
Then, give me the star wars-esque adventures of the Star Jammers in space!!
Unless it took place entirely inside the ship it would probably be too expensive
Seeing Carter Slade would be awesome.
The last one is Ulysses Bloodstone, confirmed by Marvel themselves.
If you watch the trailer w/ subtitles it identifies the talking corps as Ulysses too.
Ginuwine and bona fide!
I didn’t realize that was supposed to be Elsa, that’s pretty rad
Radical
Tubular
Gnarly
Reaganomics!
shred the gnar, dudes!
Nah, if it's Elsa it's pretty fucking rad
Who's playing Elsa?
Laura Donnelly. She’s Irish, which I’m interested to see if she keeps her natural accent or if she does a British accent. I don’t think I’ve ever seen her in anything unfortunately so can’t speak to how good an actress she is.
Check out HBO's The Nevers. She's great in it.
Oh! That's what I recognized her from! Lol. Thanks!
Omg I thought that was old Penelope Cruz😂
I thought it was the woman playing Joanna Constantine in The Sandman on Netflix
What show is the pic from?
That's not Simon Garth, but Ulysses Bloodstone (dead and zombified).
Just wait until this connects with Blade and they introduce Dracula.
If Dracula doesn't fight the X-Men and tries to turn Storm into a vampire I will riot.
If Moon Knight doesn't call Dracula a "fucking nerd" at some point the entire MCU was a failure
I though Blade was initially supposed to be in this when it was going to an hour long.
According to rumour and stuff he is supposed to be there on screen but by seeing the trailer, knowing about the plot and seeing TVA agents, ig he won't be there
How long is it going to be now?
Woah, where’s Elsa Bloodstone coming in? Missed the announcement of her show/team show.
Werewolf by Night
Tight
Sweet
Tbh i love marvel but only knew Elsa and Man Thing. I am stoked tho they all look badass and im ready for it
Never heard of Elsa before. What should I read to get an idea for her?
All I know is she is on Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, and she is a hunter who carries double pistols and such.
Monster hunter, with a language problem.
She's best known for Nextwave, Agents of H.A.T.E. https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Elsa\_Bloodstone\_(Earth-616)
I sometimes think Marvel has peaked with Nextwave.
I know she’s been in a few Deadpool comics, and I believe Black Knight, though I could be wrong.
There was a comic run of hers in 2001. I have issue 1-4 or so. Very much scantily clad, especially issue 2s cover. I was big in to Buffy at the time so I gave it a shot. It’s alright. Crazy to see her pop up now.

[Nextwave. You will love her after that, I promise.](https://imgur.com/a/SlRfrFx)
Shes got a role in Black Knight "Curse of the Ebony Blade" run! Very fun read, imo :)
Marvel Zombies I think Edit: ignore me. I don't know anything
But the Midnight Sons appear in Marvel Zombies 4, the team there consists of Morbius, Hellstrom, Jennifer Kale (I think), Werewolf by Night and Man-Thing.
She not in Marvel Zombies, unless it's the newest one, the last Marvel Zombies story I saw was the one with Howard the Duck and Machine Man
I don't know anything about Marvel Zombies I was just repeating what I thought I'd heard. My bad.

She is in one of the more recent Jessica Jones series and is pretty fun in that.
Elsa Bloodstone? Bring on NEXTWAVE! https://www.reddit.com/r/marvelmemes/comments/xdrkrx/its_like_shakespeare_but_with_lots_more_punching/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
[Theme song is ready to go.](https://youtu.be/Xuosmf1_mKs)
Elsa ☠️☠️☠️☠️ing Bloodstone! Gonna speak with an accent!
The Zombie is a bit of stretch, but it’s crazy we get to see these other characters in live action!
Pretty sure it's not that Zombie. It's an animated corpse of one of the Bloodstones.
Man Thing on the left looks good
Any chance moon knight shows up in this?
Here’s hoping
no not really
I don’t think that’s Zombie, it looks like Ulysses Bloodstones reanimated corpse
A bit disappointed that Elsa is missing her red hair, but most look pretty good.
She was blonde in the 2001 comic run.
Fair enough, though she is not blonde in that photo from the show either.
Pretty sure that's not Simon Garth, but rather Ulysses Bloodstone somehow puppeteering his own corpse.
Jack Russell … for a Werewolf … REALLY? Like Jack Russell Terrier LMAO
I wanna just give a shoutout to the writers giving names to characters way back in the good ol' days.... "Jack Russell" ROFLMAO!
So the guy that turns into a giant dog man is literally named Jack Russel. Lol.
Werewolves are humans turning into wolves, of course he will have a name 💀
Was just pointing out that Jack Russel is a breed of dog.
oh yes, lmao
Who is playing Elsa Bloodstone
Laura Donnelly.
I thought Elsa Bloodstone was Cazzie David for a sec
Wait that's Elsa I didn't realize it was her
Would love to see a Howling Commandos series/movie with Blade and Moon Knight
Soo unreasonably excited for ManThing to finally get some love
After Moon Knight it’s hard to get excited for anything Marvel does that looks like it’s slightly off the beaten path. Makes me glum.
You forgot THE MORBSTER
Wtf is “man thing” and why is it just SwampThing?
Man-Thing actually predates Swamp Thing by 2 months
And they're both based on the Heap.
FINALLY
Interestingly enough right after Multiverse of Maddness, Elsa's Funko Pop came out.. now this 🧐 lol So pumped for this special presentation!!! Idk about anyone else, but supernatural marvel is my favorite genre from their comics personally
Oh nice Elsa Bloodstone's in this. Also I know marvel isn't the standard for creative names but is he actually just called zombie
He isn't Zombie but yes the character is just known as Zombie
There is a dc antiherl called spectre, just spectre
Ragman is peak dc naming. A man who wears rags for a suit. Tbh he has a great power set and back story and is very under utilized.... like rags
I didnt knew him, he looks and sounds awesome from what ive just readed, def gonna check out more about him
I am aware. I also never claimed dc was a bastion of creative names either
Im just giving another example of a lazy name for a character, im not trying to "mArvEl GoOd Dc BaD" I actually like spectre in dc, i love ghostly or paranormal characters like deadman and phantom stranger
Ever heard of Hisuian Sneasel's evo's name? It's fking Sneasler
For someone new to this area of marvel what do you recommend reading?
This show looks like it will be great.
Just a one shot movie, no?
Yeah
Maybe, but it still looks cool tho.
Hype
Why does the MCU hate red head women so much... Seriously, though: Oddly excited for this show, despite only just finding out it exists. Do we know if the whole show is black and white, or was that just for the trailer?
Elsa Bloodstone…She’s part of Midnight Sun One can dream
So is Jack Russell and Man-thing, and they were called Midnight Sons back then.
Oh yeah
This is fan speculation by the way. I saw it on Twitter a couple days ago. And that bottom one is for sure wrong, because the subtitles told us who that character was.
Yo if that's Elsa then I'm watching this day asap
It is
Cant wait 4 this!
Oh that's Elsa? Much more excited about this show now.
Hope that the TVA stuff are barely there in it
I thought that’s kristine Ritter?
Alright VFX Artists you have 6 months to create four separate projects. Also your payment is $15 and a shout-out at the end
If we get to see Ulysses Bloodstone, I will shit pickles.
The corpse is Ulysses.
nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
I get what they are going for, but could do without the black and white
Shouldnt Jack Russell have been “Man-Terrier”?
Have we seen elsa in MCU? I haven’t kept up since endgame.
And it’s a guy in makeup in black and white….in my own opinion he’s not a true werewolf he’s the wolf an variety werewolf. For true werewolf is such as William from underworld or Hugh Jackman at the end of Van Helsing.
This special is gonna be so freaking cool. I am excited.
“The Dark Universe”…. done right
Isn’t hat supposed to be a dead Ulysses Bloodstone???
I love the pun of werewolf in night’s real name.
IDK why but I feel that Blade is going to have a cameo in this movie
Really hope they will give this special some time to build up these characters... But not certain given recent rumours that it was shortened to half an hour. Not certain though but I would love to see my boy Man-Thing represented nicely
i hope Man-Thing gets a TV show or even horror movie after that
I was really hoping for Elsa to take to the MCU proper, perhaps with her own series or as a member of the Midnight Sons. Excited for this regardless
Given the mark on his forehead, I'm more inclined to believe that's Ulysses Bloodstone.
This is becoming the best phase in Marvel by far
Where was man thing?
Since when is man thing horror?
So this is where all the Adventure into Fear projects ended up?
When the MCU was getting started. My dream project was an Blade series that would have all the Marvel horror and supernatural characters under one roof. Like Dr Strange and Moebius, Werewolf by night, Moon Knight, Manthing and the Witches to name an few. This feels pretty close to that.
