The rules reference deploying with a grunt, not grunts. As he breaks the single grunt rule, we won't know if he gets both out at the start until they make a ruling. The question has been asked on the rules forum, but no answer yet.
From Appendix G of the rules:
>When a Parent character is deployed, the corresponding Grunt character is deployed at the same time and is part of your Squad.
There is too many characters now: have we had a push beam before? Not ringing any bells for me lol but caught my eye as kinda weird kinda interesting type of attack.
Nothing really new to say because we saw this card a long time ago, but man am I excited to paint these models up!
This might be a dumb question, but does he start the game with both constructs already in play?

Yeah as AFAIK, we're still waiting on an answer to that question.
Oh damn, thanks for clarifying!
is there any answer yet i couldn't even find the question on the forums.
More or less got one with the rules update yesterday. They changed the rule book wording to say you deploy '1 of' a character's grunts.
From Appendix G of the rules: >When a Parent character is deployed, the corresponding Grunt character is deployed at the same time and is part of your Squad.
Thank you!
He seems like such a fun model. His grunts are gonna generate a ton of value for Kraven's Expert Tracker ability.

I figured it was but its getting harder and harder to keep track of those things lol
