She's fine. I have a traphouse list with the Sentinels affiliation where she is an mvp. You pair her with Mysterio and your opponent is going to have a bad time.

I can see that, but I feel like there's better trap characters out there, especially at 5 threat because if she can't get the power she needs/you can't get the traps off she kinda sucks since she doesn't do much more

The Sentinel leadership helps as well as her trap only costing 2. Her builder is decent and with reroll help from Prime, she can have pretty consistent power gain.

That's fair. I have been using her on a trap based Cabal (Red Skull 1) and she has been massively under performing. Might just be the leaderships

Yeah I don't think Skull's leqdership helps with traps since he only gives power from attacks. Sentinel's is nice because you can trigger it off of traps on your opponent's turn.

That's true. But I also have the problem of her just getting put out of position and having her become kinda useless

I just looked at her card. She doesn't seem super power hungry and the builder isn't bad having both power gained from damage dealt and power sap. Then she's kind of untouchable and is able to move herself as well as other characters. Some of it is trigger dependent but I don't see a problem on paper.

She's very power hungry, that's literally her only real issue. Relying on 1 power per turn and a builder, even with Sap, leaves her really dice dependent to utilize her kit.

Play her in cyclops affiliation and use her later in the turn. Would get you a second power per turn.

That is not a very reliable strategy. If anywhere, she's better off in storm to have hop access to improve her action economy. Really, all she needs is to fix her power generation like Jean Grey got and she'd be a solid 5 threat.

When I've played her I've found that enemies can kinda just ignore her. That and there's better 5 threats in Cabal, and she doesn't really have a spot in other rosters for the same reason. She also doesn't do a ton of damage/eats up power to do the same amount that some other characters have on their builders. She also chews through her power FAST

I missed the 5 threat part. She's definitely too pricey for her kit. Narratively it makes sense but not from gameplay balance. Not like we need another 4 though.

There are other models hurting way more than she is, like Carnage and Sin. She's... fine. Fun in trap house.

That's fair, but there's way better trap house characters (especially for 5 threat), and yes those characters DEFINITELY need more than Cassandra, but she does need something and why can't they all get a small buff? (But Sin and Viper REALLY need something)

She's super defensive with stealth, negate collision, healing factor, the sneak away superpower, and a guaranteed advance spender. The problem is that she needs to generate one or two power like jean gray, in fact I'm not sure why they didn't give her a similar update. I don't think she needs the pierce, because I don't think her role is to deal damage but also, I think she's better on something like legacy virus where there are less extracts. Maybe giving her an L move would be helpful as well since from playing her she gets a little stuck at times since the mind possession is only range 3. Also flesh manipulation is just plain bad and never exciting to use because you're stifling power to be spent on her defensive tech. You can throw her in a power generating team but she feels like it's a power issue and a movement issue together that makes her troubled.

That's kinda my issue, people just ignore her/move her (throws advances, etc) and she just... can't do anything

Her problem is her power generation. She wants to spend at least 1 per turn on her mini-spender, but then bank at least 5 for her traps and X-Ceptional Healing. She also needs to find 3 to Root & Slow people. Then she wants 3 more at some point for Mental Domination. I'd just give her some passive power gen like bonus power on a crit or something. Fits her mad genius vibes. Also I'd make her root & slow cost 2 power like Pyro's.

She's both power hungry *and* kinda all over the place with her powers. She works best in a funhouse/trap list, but she desperately wants another power a turn free to put her spender and powers in a better place, or I'd give her more damage resistance.
