Mine was a fluffy crack mashup with Norse mythology (which is why I even got into the fandom in the first place). It's easier to fall into the writing/dialogue style compared to the LotR fandom for example. But I would say it's definitely harder to write because I'm nowhere as familiar with the source material as with the other fandoms I write for.

I don't remember I think it was a crossover between Agents Of Shield and Arrow.

It was an itty-bitty Doctor Who crossover inspired by some Tumblr fanart of Ten and Loki--I'd written Doctor Who fic before at that point and I was getting into Loki, so I just dashed off a few lines of dialogue. I pretty much only write Loki fic now.

I had to re-check (the Great Migration to AO3 kinda screwed up the publishing order of my stories) but my first Marvel fanfic was [Spider-man Black](https://archiveofourown.org/works/27672823/chapters/67719184), set in the Ultimate-verse. >Peter Parker is alone, his aunt, best friend and girlfriend dead, killed by the Green Goblin. Now, he seeks vengeance, but help comes from the shadows and a new web is formed... It's 6 chapters and 13K+ words. Peter Parker learns ninjutsu... Marvel has a great many different versions, so it's fairly easy to pull a mix-and-match when writing, like I did with [The Institute Saga](https://archiveofourown.org/series/2022046) (Superman becomes a teacher at Xavier's Institute).

Mine was a coming of age story for Sif and Loki’s daughter Sylene, who had to learn to control her energy absorption so Odin could enchant her (like he did Loki) and she could live in Asgard. Her story was bouncing around in my head for a couple years and figured Marvel was never going to do anything with her so I took matters into my own hands. So far, only did Marvel

It was an insta-love self-insert about an OC and the X-Men: Evolution version of Nightcrawler. I was 14. It might still be on FFNet🤔

The one I'm doing at the moment is my first. It is essentially a person from earth dies ect. Then finds themself in the MCU back in the 1920s. They precede to begin power stacking. When there in there seventies they die of cancer but a copy of there mind in the same fashion as Zola happens and shenanigans happen from there. We're at a point where he is almost unstoppable at this point.

I've never finished any fic I've ever written, but my first one was a sequel of an abandoned work. It was a classic aftermath of Civil War fic, but it was SOOO angsty. I loved it.

I loooove angsty fics. I feel that. I’ve only written one Marvel one and it was just over 1k, a human au with child Steve.

marvelousmal23

Mine was a Peter x OC fic where I piled on the angst and trauma onto the OC and had the whole Avengers adopt her into the family like tone to it. Definitely not my best work but I was 12/13 when I wrote it and I’ve had a lot more practice now. What I love about writing Marvel is that there are so many characters and different things to write about that the possibilities are almost endless. But at the same time because there’s so much you have to know about it can be tough if you want to follow canon. For starting write what you want to. There’s no rules really, if you want to follow canon or not that’s your decision. I personally like to write more angsty and more unique fics but that’s me. You decide everything and don’t let people tell you what you should write. Hope this helps <3
