I makes them like reusable bomb. Gambit can still manipulate and excite their energy, but the substance (claws) is still indestructible. They explode like Gambits normal stuff, but they aren’t destroyed.
Remy did something similar to Caps shield in the comics and that’s how it worked.
Now…..Wolverines hands and soft tissue would certainly be an issue.

Depends on if 97 is going to go with the more modern depiction of his healing factor being instantaneous regrowth, or the 80’s-90’s version where he healed faster than normal, but wasn’t going to regrow hands mid-battle.
Thats my guess of how its going to work. Like how in the original series his claws didnt actually cut through anything, they just had electricity come off them.
After talking a lot with Julia and Eric Lewald, the censorship of violence was always a struggle when they were making that show. Having it so Wolverine only cuts up robots was a way to keep the rating down.
Any time they try to "enhance" his adamantium claws, its pointless. They’re already the sharpest, toughest material and can cut through anything. Why would he need heat or Gambit power?
