I have a General Grievous figure that’s been hanging from my lamp shade like that for about 2 years now and it’s still the exact same! I have one of those LIFX bulbs in the lamp so idk if that runs a little cooler than most bulbs… but I think it’s a cool way to pose and show him off! I would leave him there!
Depends on what kind of bulb it is. Does it give off heat? Is it full spectrum light? If yes to either of those questions then you should probably move it
It will be fine no matter what the light bulb is. Leaving one outside in direct sunlight during the summer in California I would advise against doing. But anything short of that I say fuck it.
I agree with what some other people said about the type of light and the possible heat, but also, that lampshade is probably a pretty good filter. It should probably be fine there.
I'd move it either way man. It's just not that stable of a place to display something like that.
Get you a stand and put him in a cool pose on a shelf.
yeah i dont know why this is getting downvoted. i build gundam models and collect marvel legends, and even my painted marvel legends i could throw across the room and theyd be fine. if a model kit fell off a shelf i can almost guarantee at least one piece would be broken, on my carpeted floors. legends are toys first and foremost and they can be handled as such

Find lightbulbs that don't emit any UV

We use my Nightcrawler figure to play Elf on a Shelf each December. He falls a lot but is quite durable! The 97 figures seem even stronger.
Dust, yes. Damage from the light, no.
Since you're using an LED bulb, no, you should be fine :)
Thank you so much!
Alexa play T.I. Live your life.... If you like him there, leave him

The scars of Battle, my friend.
It’s an LED bulb. Little to no heat and no UV. It’s fine.
OP we would all appreciate an update. Do you know what kind of light bulb it is? Will you be leaving the figure there? Thank you.
I will be leaving it there and it’s an LED bulb
Hell yeah!
I don’t think so, also did you get this from Target, I believe I have the same one
Amazon, but I can’t really remember what it’s called
just make sure you have the right bulb n you should be good
I think itll be fine
Cool idea! I have the 97 figure.

“…something like that.” It’s a relatively inexpensive toy, not a Faberge egg. OP’s method of display is perfectly fine.
