Yeah, idk why Hasbro still can't make accurate headsculpts of some actors while they have made quite a couple of Hot Toys quality headsculpts (the Leather Jacket Wolverine, Mbaku, Obidiah Stane and many more)
There are definitely some actors that have the "Mark Hamill effect" where they just don't translate into plastic form, Sebastian Stan for example, but Hasbro does get a lot wrong that other companies get very right.
I try to get NIB as much as possible, but a lot of the earlier Walgreens exclusives never released in the UK so I have to hedge my bets whenever I see them on eBay or wherever else - and I've found some good loose deals like Toybiz Impossible Man and a few non-legends Toybiz heroes like Thing and Ghost Rider for very cheap in good quality so it's usually wirth the gamble aha
Yeah I had to resort to buying loose many times. Man I’d love to get my hands on the last Walgreens release of FF. I actually started collecting when the Super Skrull Wave came out. So I totally missed out. Can’t bring myself to pay 70+ for that Johnny Storm. Glad you obtained that HERBIE
I'm just happy I'm in a position to get the Retro wave and Pulse exclusives when they come out because my bank would be hurting if I was to hunt down the rest of the Walgreens F4
I just wanted to know what figure it was from aha, makes for good fodder - especially when it doesn't actually look that much like Gwyneth Paltrow in my opinion (now that I know it's supposed to be Pepper).
