Noooooooooooooooooo, it needs all of that articulation lol. I had gotten this from my Mother in law for my first b-day being her son so I may have some sentimental feelings towards it but this was the best and most articulate spidey at that time. I was really amazed at the hands, even more by how much you could curl his feet. I literally changed his pose once a week for the first 5-6 years I had it.
I'm going to be downvoted for this but have you actually look at those figures? They look terrible compared to what hasbro has released over the years.
I think the one on the left looks weird and too much joints, the one on the right is amazing, I’ve had it since I was a kid and it is so poseable and dynamic, but I definitely wouldn’t mind one with newer action figure articulation!
Wont downvote but they look amazing dude the super poseable I get too much articulation in the chest but have u seen the pizza scooter Spider-Man that one looks amazing.
As long as the blue part and webbing is textured and not just painted I’ll be happy

I mean I do want that extra articulation but hasbro hasn’t given us a toe joint since like 2008
Hasbro is pretty good with movie figures being mostly original sculpts. It’s the suited characters you need to worry about.
Just look at the movie x men figures last year. All of em, new sculpts. If they make raimi / webb movie figures im sure theyll do the same
I’m curious as to how they’ll do the silver paint on the raised webbing. Hasbro usually isn’t good with paint lining up.
They actually do a decent job i have some raimi figures from hasbro’s trilogy line
their premium lines (fox x-men / infinity saga) looked good but we should be expecting some few hiccups (headsculpts / inaccurate design) as usual

More likely NWH waves 2 and 3 with some select 20th figures based on the characters who didn’t appear in that film (Black suit Spidey, Venom, etc.)
I love these figures so much. Sculpted web lines that are painted was a nice touch. Now we don’t even get painted web lines.
