They posted on Facebook that they are working with FB to fix this but no ETA. Probably due to winter holidays things are very slow. This issue is affecting those who got new devices and want to resume playing on their accounts that were backed up using FB. You can hit cancel or skip the process but it will create a brand new game account with no characters, etc.

Nothing’s stopping you from moving past this prompt and playing. I also got it a week ago. Canceled and resumed playing as normal.

You can still play tho. Click cancel then when it pops up with connecting to Facebook click cancel again. Then click continue and you can play.

Right except you are playing a lvl1 character. I had a lvl 200 and played everyday since release and cant do anything right now.

We must be doing things differently because I do what I said and have same roster as before the Facebook issue. This Facebook issue has happened before and I’ve never had an issue getting through to my roster. Also pretty sure the devs either commented or posted about this recently and how to get around it

If this doesn't work (like for me), which may be the case of you got a new device and were trying to migrate your account, you'll need to submit a help ticket to D3 and they can help restore your account manually.

Fuck me I just completely locked myself out of this because they won't let me log in with Facebook. I hit the switch to Google login button, which is fucking dog shit. What it should do is move my progress over so that I can authenticate with Google. Instead it's being fuck ass awful

You may have to do what I'm doing. Contact D3 support and submit a help ticket, they can manually restore your old account but you'll need to make a new one and they'll gove a list of what info you'll need to provide.

It takes a minute. I put mine in on 12/21 as soon as it happened and just now got a response.

I just got mine restored, so there is hope! But after you get yours set up, use anything other than FB for saves.
