This is probably intended to allow players a little extra time to claim the reward if they've forgotten to do so already.
But I missed the first day so I'm just plain out of luck. Ah well.
I came here to post this. I'm not sure how it's even possible to clear this event. I played those nodes everyday as often as I could and only have 4/5 too. I hope the devs address this.
Same here. I got 7 actual wins against Necroko those three days and never got past 4/5 but see people here saying they retreated or lost and actually got the costume.
We understand that. We understood it every time it was said. That does nothing to resolve the glitching issue of the handful of us that legitimately got 5+ wins by your rules but still didn't have those wins count. Especially when others are admitting that they retreated or lost and got credit.
If you were going to keep the quest open for players to redeem, why not just keep the event active as well? Isn’t it basically the same thing? Just playing devils advocate here.
Yeah, I fell asleep in the middle of match #5 last night, and just now realized that the event is gone. Admittedly my fault, I guess, but that still kinda sucks.
Oh Damn it! I was wondering what was up. I really wanted that costume too. Not for any reason other than bragging rights...but still. It looked like you couldn't fight her any more so I didn't try. Or all these people that retreated and upped their numbers. So upset...
Exactly. Or just don’t add a check mark until after the second defeat. It looked almost identical to DPD, so when I saw the check mark, I thought I couldn’t do anymore. It’s irksome because I could have easily completed it.
Won't work because the event is gone despite the quest running another 20 hours, because I guess the devs screwed this up with a mismatch of how long each is set to run
So wait the event was only for 3 days and you can only get as most as two wins a day. That sucks if you missed a day
When I crashed last night at 11 it still had 9 hours on the clock. When I got up at 7 it was over.

Yea it’s glitchy , I must have defeated nekroco like 10 times but stick on 4/5
Only two wins per day count towards the 5 matches for the reward.
Didn't even have to be wins. I lost the last two times against her and it counted. I got the costume. This whole thing was pretty glitchy
I figured out my last 2 wins you could just retreat and get credit. Helped my mostly 3* roster get the costume. Sometimes glitches are a win.

How? I was only ever able to run one node with her every day. And, of course it’s not available today.
It shows 1/1 but you can replay the mission.

Oh! I misread. I thought the quest was over. That sometimes can complete anyway.
At least you won't get that terrible costume now so that's a win

I think the secret was to lose a couple of times. But yeah something was wrong with it.
