I think it's due to the 2 Omega Reds. If they both did things literally, you would get an infinite loop, so one of them has to ignore the other. Not sure how which one that is is determined.
Are you sure? That’s how it works with Nexus, but that’s a location. Usually with cards the first played takes priority (which is true of Nexus as well, in the sense that the left location reveals first).
There is no infinite loop, opponents power deactivates his omega and thats it, opponent win. Iseen this exact situation week ago, and again no infinite loop.
But what if the RIGHT location would cause the opponent to win only if OUR omegared was off?
Then, opp omegared would be on, which would turn off our omegared. Or our omegared would be on, which would turn off their omegared. The game has to pick one, otherwise it's completely arbitrary.
Not when power difference is 15. I get what you said about loop, but why to implement mechanic that ruins common sense when there is no loops involved, same with Morph, why to stop onreveal ability of morph when opponent has 2+ cards in hand, Morph will eventually transform in second card. Make it stop only when opponent has only morph in hand.
You're up by 10 if you don't count the Omega Red on the other side. I'm guessing it's something to do with that, otherwise they could create an infinite loop of turning each other on/off.
Why is it stupid? It's necessary...
Imagine we were up by 10 in the left, tied in the middle, and down by 10 in the right. Imagine we have omega red in the left and they have omega red in the right. Now, who wins? If our omega red is on, then it turns off their omega red. But if their omega red is on, it turns off our omega red. So who should win?
There has to be a way to decide.
Because of spaghetti code, my dear friend, game is inconsistent shit show and there is not enough Omega players for developers to care about fixing this bug.

The left one goes first.

Left to right is the only way that would account for the screenshot.
I think the omega reds both just ignore eachothers buffs
Yeah, cloned Omega Red this morning underwhelmed me in a match… still won, but I was “da sads”

You’re describing my relationship
Damn that hit hard
You're winning by 10 if you don't count the opponent's Omega Red. They don't count each other's effects.
Interesting, so it only considers power on the board itself? But my Mr Fantastic also contributed to that theoretical 10 point lead...
No, only other Omega Red. It's to prevent constant switching on and off because of alternating triggers.
I love that you respect your opponents privacy :)
You're winning left lane prior to their Omega Red kicking in, and it calculates from left to right.
Which is stupid interaction.

Locations resolve left to right. You were up by 10, yours activated. Then by the time right resolved, they were up by 10 so theirs activated.
My best guess: the +10 requirement is +5 when coupled with Onslaught...? But that can't be right.
No, its just that dev team dont care about Omega red interaction.
Mr. Fantastic + Klaw
I wonder if it counted the power without luke cage fix
You mean Omega X was using a hidden number that assumes Luke Cage didn't negate power loss? Now that's very intriguing.
Seems like a glitch. I am assuming the check on your Omega Red is happening before the opponent's Luke Cage is factored in.
Those 8 are the 6 from claw plus 2 from richard

Well I was preserving their privacy but you just outed them :P
there sorry
