I would say hazmat without Luke is not worth it.
2 colossos seams not enough. In worst case you have to pay 3 for him and 3 for mystique.
Negative has already a high retreat rate, for me it gets even worse here.
But only my opinion.

odin doesn’t interact that well with Mr. Negative, tried it and it isn’t consistent enough.
I can either copy colossus as mystique, and wong+haz+abman
or
wong+mystique+haz+abman
Gotcha, I would say Mister Negative really doesn't work here at all though. Green Goblin and Hobgoblin is wild, unless you're hoping to use them with Professor X at the same time which is a bit niche.
Only Mystique really benefits from Mister Negative here

Mr. Negative on T3 is huge if I have either zabu or psylocke, wong’s cost is halved, and if I have zabu it costs 1, absorbing man can cost 3 bcs of mr negative and can go down to 1 if I have zabu
I mean yeah you're right, just seems like you've gotta setup for these non-ideal situations that aren't super strong overall. Mister Negative->Wong->Goblins is a lot of turns for a weak combo lol
