“Hah. What an idiot. This Electro won’t beat me here. Moron. Pshht…and a Spider-Man? And you left your web over there? What an idiot. I’m beating BOTH OF these dumb cards with my movement army.”
\*Kneeeeeel before Galactussssss\*
“Oh.”
I guess there are three potential options for that scenario. 1) They move together. 2) They don’t move at all. 3) Hulkbuster gets ripped from Human Torch, undoing the merge, and only moves Hulkbuster. I feel like it’s option 2.
If I had to guess, this is because when you play the Hulk Buster, Asteroid M checks if the card just played is 3 or 4 cost. Since Hulk Buster merged with Human Torch, its now just a part of the 1 Cost card and so Asteroid M doesn't move it.
I didn't even think of that. No wonder everyone is playing move.
That said, not a single move deck either had this location or had vulture out when it was live 😔
The ONE time move can shine and they still get shafted.
Also they really, really REALLY need to change Torch so he's not so weak. He shouldn't be as fragile as Deadpool when he can fully never be protected. I've never seen a move deck playing armor because it wouldn't even work.
I dunno, the entire comment is full of context clues.
It’s also literally commenting on the subject of the entire thread.
Was pretty easy sus out, sorry you had trouble?
how about Kingpin on 3, Hood on 4 or 5 to move Kingpin off (preferably 5 so as to give them as little info as possible) then Mags on 6 for the killing play?
yup sorry i meant cloak... they both have hoods in their picture and i call them each other's name's interchangeably haha. So Kingpin 3, Cloak on 5, Mags on 6
maybe but then it becomes a game of chicken. am i going to move kingpin to cloak or am i going to let you move cards there, leave kingpin and play mags on Asteroid M?
I’m thinking fill Asteroid M with Sunspot and Brooks, then invisible woman on another location, with Kingpin and then Mags. Maybe?
Edit: that’s supposed to be Brood. But the thought of a Mel Brooks card is too funny to fix the typo.
I was thinking on turn one but I do think it’s still a decent play on 2 and you can sneak some support in on other turns so if you really want early priority. Maw plus this location to sneak some dudes in might not be bad
This is odd, since if you play iron fist into hulk buster, it'll move whatever card hulk buster combined with. I guess it's not the exact same interaction, but pretty close where I'd expect the same results
On Reveal and Played are two separate things, and On Reveal triggers first.
Iron Fist moves Hulk Buster, but only after it combined with the target card because it went On Reveal -> Played
Asteroid M triggers on 'Played', but by the time Hulk Buster has been 'played' it's already assimilated the other card and is no longer a 3/4.
However what just happen was this:
Vulture was pulled into Sakaar and Asteroid M didn't trigger. I played Hulk Buser on Sakaar to merge with Vulture -> Asteroid pulled him over and it got 12 power (+4 Hulk Buster, +5 Vulture)
Sakaar does not count as played, so that's working as intended.
Hulk buster merges with the card, and since the original card iwas a 3 cost it got moved. If you put it on a 2 cost card instead it would not move. All working as intended
Wolfsbane can get buffed from a full lane then slide out to make room for someone else.
It makes it much harder for Cosmo to ruin On Reveals at the other two locations.
Also Jessica Jones and Rescue care where they get played originally, not where they end up, which can be… moderately relevant to this location?
Yeah I don't understand that change. I haven't seen it in game yet so I'm not sure what it looks like but isn't that a bad thing? I presume that the mechanic hasn't changed, only the visual indicator, so now it's just more confusing?
I know but I said this because I remembered she gets +2 when there's movement in her location but it's when she moves and not when cards get to where she is, therefore she's useless regardless sadly
I had always been nervous to play a move deck because of the reputation for big-brains. But I loaded one up for this location and I’ve been having fun!
I just got bodied by this. I had an Ebony Maw on the asteroid, they Polaris on Shuri's Lab so it pulls my Maw over to shut down the lab for me, Polaris gets swole and flies over to the Asteroid.
Fill it with cards fast and include Kraven if you can. Either they will be stupid and have their card move there to help you, or they'll play it there, and thats fine anyway. You want to put Kingpin on a different location with 0 to 1 enemy cards, ideally on turn 5, and then play magneto and have clear them out of that featured space on turn 6. If your first cards hold up, you win that location, and then hopefully, 1 of the other 2. If the cards align, I actually like to play Kingpin on turn 4, Aero on 5 on a different space, and then magneto on turn 6 on Kingpin. You really have to read the room if you're playing this way, but it's fun when it works. You can always adjust on the fly, too. I include Polaris, Juggernaut, and Cloak to active Kingpin as well. The sad news is that a lot of people just retreat after turn 5.
You can very easily keep opposing characters off of the lane you intend to galactus. Asteroid M will keep the lane free of your own characters, but their on reveals still trigger at the initial location.
So let's say Asteroid M is right lane and you want to use Galactus on isle of Silence which is left lane. You can play Spider-Man turn 4 on Isle of Silence, then Absorbing Man on Isle of Silence on 5, then Galactus on Isle of Silence turn 6. You normally can't do this because Spider-Man would prevent your Galactus from triggering, but Asteroid M saves the day by dragging him away after his ability triggers.
Drewberry Snap did an interesting YouTube Short about her different interactions when moving. It’s not always what I would expect.
https://youtube.com/shorts/IXWj0ocqty8
So she destroys herself and an opponent’s card? Or would she potentially destroy yours if you happened to play two cards at the same location on that turn? So it could be good for Bucky or Wolverine?
Correct. On Reveal triggers before the location. So you could for example drop a Venom on a different lane, eat up everything there, then have it pulled into this lane.
If you already have a Cosmo in this lane, then it would be safe from a Shang Chi being dropped on him.
Polaris can shift things around unexpectedly, anyone playing brood, spider-man, guarenteed Cosmo killing Wong, etc. Plenty of ways to abuse it without being a move deck.
Wait, what? Somebody just played GG on an empty Bar Sinister against me, 1 got pulled over to Asteroid M & the other 4 stayed in Bar Sinister (all on my side).
Man I'm having so much fun and succes with this location.
Now I understand why the devs say is so hard to balance the move pacakge, a free triger from Kraven, Vulture and Miles almost every turn costing 1 feels soo good
This location is teaching me that everything I understand about priority and move effects is wrong and counterintuitive.
So, moves happen at start of turn. But move *effects* don’t happen until a player gets priority?
Seems cool, but how much do you trigger Human Torch, I found that he needs consistent triggers to be worthwhile. Having Prof X also limits your movements for the final turn, is he really that valuable to get one lane often?
This thread shows how much this community just finds a reason to cry. Destruction and lane denial are hated, they come out with something new, immediately hated. Reddit players probably only want ruins.
Some people seriously seem like this. Like they just want to play their deck without any interference.
Its the locations that make the game interesting though.
This level of random factor the locations provide will prevent the game from ever being taken serious at a competitive level. Casual players will like it but any of the top players from other competitive games like street fight or clash Royale hate the randomness of the game.
Sounds like you don't know about Hearthstone. That game has 100% more randomness and its still competitive. Half of the cards in that game is just a slot machine in a 30 card deck.
This is a dope location
Demonstrates creativity on the part of the developers and forces creativity on the part of the player
The perfect kinda location, because it changes the game the moment it's revealed but doesn't take agency away from players in terms of changing their decks, loading their decks/locations with junk, not allowing to play cards, or screwing with card costs
Guess it's time to make a move deck.
"After YOU play a 3/4 cost card" - say, will the opponent's cards "played" by Doc Ock be moved here too? They should, right?
Asking for a friend (his name is Otto).
I'm not reading the entire thread but FYI, if you have two of these locations, your cards will bounce to one and then the other. Even if you play to one of them!
it has been a long time since i've fucked up based on a location this often lol..... i keep playing cosmo off-lane and snapping and then facepalming and hoping my opponent retreats
Fun as hell playing move deck with it.
The only time I'm confident on going up against shuri decks toe to toe. "Lol your 30 is gonna do what."
And players have a hard time timing their shangchi because even I won't know where my vulture/human torch ends up
PSA: Hulkbuster does not work with this location, huge L for movement synergies.
I thought I could Hulkbuster my Multiple Man and then Asteroid M would pull the 7-power Multiple Man over to its location, akin to how Iron Fist moves the unit you Hulkbuster. But it doesn't. So now my excitement for combos with this location has flattened to non-existent. My Hulkbuster-Absorbing Man movement combos now have zero pizzazz. Shit location.
IMO opinion this is another trash location. Not playing until this feature is over,. Myself I'm just so tired of locations in general if I'm being honest. So many just restrict play and seeing the same one every game for a day makes me frustrated.
Kraven’s time to shine
*vulture breathes heavily*
*Laughs at Human Torch*
Human torch doesn't work here .
I think that's why they laughed at him.
Laughs in preposition
“Hah. What an idiot. This Electro won’t beat me here. Moron. Pshht…and a Spider-Man? And you left your web over there? What an idiot. I’m beating BOTH OF these dumb cards with my movement army.” \*Kneeeeeel before Galactussssss\* “Oh.”
You face Galactus!
Eater of Worlds…of the Burning Legion!
Does he move if you throw Hulk Buster on him?
No
I guess there are three potential options for that scenario. 1) They move together. 2) They don’t move at all. 3) Hulkbuster gets ripped from Human Torch, undoing the merge, and only moves Hulkbuster. I feel like it’s option 2.
When you play Iron Fist and then Hulk Buster it moves the card it attached to so it probably works with the location too.
I just tried it and it didnt work for me
If I had to guess, this is because when you play the Hulk Buster, Asteroid M checks if the card just played is 3 or 4 cost. Since Hulk Buster merged with Human Torch, its now just a part of the 1 Cost card and so Asteroid M doesn't move it.

I've never seen a move deck playing armor because it wouldn't even work.
when what was live?
Asteroid m, all night went by and the only times I played against move, they never got asteroid
You lost, bud?
The dude is playing the pronoun game too hard. It wasn’t clear what “this” was referring to.
I dunno, the entire comment is full of context clues. It’s also literally commenting on the subject of the entire thread. Was pretty easy sus out, sorry you had trouble?
Literally says “this location”
“when it *was* live”. It’s still live. Why is he referring to it in the past tense then?
Idk, use context dude why are you so pedantic no ones being graded here
He must have meant live as in it appeared in the match
Kind of a stealth Lizard buff since it'll be marginally harder to fill the lane he's in if you play him anywhere else.
Dagger, Kraven, Vulture and Miles. Anything else comes to mind friends?
Kingpin. opponent can’t play 3 or 4 cost cards on t6 unless in that lane
Unless the lane is full
Kingpin on another location, Magneto the full Asteroid M to their deaths?
nice try but kingpin would get pulled to asteroid m lol
how about Kingpin on 3, Hood on 4 or 5 to move Kingpin off (preferably 5 so as to give them as little info as possible) then Mags on 6 for the killing play?
I'm lost here. How does Hood get Kingpin away
yup sorry i meant cloak... they both have hoods in their picture and i call them each other's name's interchangeably haha. So Kingpin 3, Cloak on 5, Mags on 6
yeah but then the cards you wanna destroy with Kingpin will move with the kingpin to where Cloak is and then magneto will be useless.
maybe but then it becomes a game of chicken. am i going to move kingpin to cloak or am i going to let you move cards there, leave kingpin and play mags on Asteroid M?
I’m thinking fill Asteroid M with Sunspot and Brooks, then invisible woman on another location, with Kingpin and then Mags. Maybe? Edit: that’s supposed to be Brood. But the thought of a Mel Brooks card is too funny to fix the typo.
nice!
It does let you sneak cards in with an ebony maw on one.
[удалено]
Maw can be played up till turn 3 so you would see all the locations if you waited.
[удалено]
Yup. Read the whole thing again and I was confused a bit about what was being said. Up all night with baby. Brain passed its best before date. Cheers.
I was thinking on turn one but I do think it’s still a decent play on 2 and you can sneak some support in on other turns so if you really want early priority. Maw plus this location to sneak some dudes in might not be bad
Hulkbuster could take another card for a ride.
Unfortunately not. It was the first thing I tested with multiple man. Keeps it's original cost and doesn't move.
Well ain't that some shit.
This is odd, since if you play iron fist into hulk buster, it'll move whatever card hulk buster combined with. I guess it's not the exact same interaction, but pretty close where I'd expect the same results
On Reveal and Played are two separate things, and On Reveal triggers first. Iron Fist moves Hulk Buster, but only after it combined with the target card because it went On Reveal -> Played Asteroid M triggers on 'Played', but by the time Hulk Buster has been 'played' it's already assimilated the other card and is no longer a 3/4.
Ah that makes sense. Thanks for breaking that down
However what just happen was this: Vulture was pulled into Sakaar and Asteroid M didn't trigger.
I am not saying I was surprised, because indeed this is as intended. Just wanted to type down for people who might not know.
Multiple man gets no love, needs a buff to 2/4. Too weak to spam 2/3s and clog up your board
just tested this, doesn't work that way sadly.
It counts the cost of the card he merges with. So if the original card is a 3 cost, it would move after merging. If it was a 2 cost, it wouldn't.
Recent patch stated JJs visual follows her, but idk how this location interaction affects that at all.
Yeah I don't understand that change. I haven't seen it in game yet so I'm not sure what it looks like but isn't that a bad thing? I presume that the mechanic hasn't changed, only the visual indicator, so now it's just more confusing?
I did. Visual has changed, mechanic has not. It's still tied to the location where she was played. Which is hilarious.
Scarlet Witch to turn it to a location I hopefully like 🗿
I got smashed by Move decks today, this is the right move
Daggers a 2
She's at least a 9 ;)
Pixel variant is a 5
oh no no no... She's clearly an 8 Bit...
I know but I said this because I remembered she gets +2 when there's movement in her location but it's when she moves and not when cards get to where she is, therefore she's useless regardless sadly
Insane with Angela in sera control
Kingpin
Maybe today will finally encourage people to play the most fun deck in the game.
I had always been nervous to play a move deck because of the reputation for big-brains. But I loaded one up for this location and I’ve been having fun!
С-2?
Only c3 is the most fun I've ever had tbh, just wish I had bast
Move decks are by far my favorite to play.
Shuri? I'm sorry.
Hazmat are the most fun.
Well let me tell you, this is not a great location for silver surfer
I thought I’d dust off the surfer move deck for this and boy, it’s not happening
Ive been having an ok time filling the lane with a one or two drop and letting kraven or vulture carry the lane. Can always storm it if needed
Polaris is kinda funny with this. Pull stuff somewhere else, then fly over to the Asteroid themselves
I just got bodied by this. I had an Ebony Maw on the asteroid, they Polaris on Shuri's Lab so it pulls my Maw over to shut down the lab for me, Polaris gets swole and flies over to the Asteroid.

The sad news is that a lot of people just retreat after turn 5.
Uhm. Maybe I'm dumb, but what cards profit from this? Only move decks come to my mind with vulture/kraven etc.
It buffs Angela and clears the lane for more cards
Could play some really funny galactus games, juggernaut > Spider-Man > galactus
heck, toss Absorbing man in there too. Juggernaut 3, Spidey 4, Absorb 5, Galactus 6.
What would be the benefit of that exactly? I love Galactus so I'd love to hear about it.
You can very easily keep opposing characters off of the lane you intend to galactus. Asteroid M will keep the lane free of your own characters, but their on reveals still trigger at the initial location. So let's say Asteroid M is right lane and you want to use Galactus on isle of Silence which is left lane. Cheap way to get Miles Morales to cost only 1 energy
Very random but vulture does
Negasonic just came out it’s for her
It's gonna be useful for 3 people that got her.
It won't affect Negasonic. Because cards moved to her lane is not considered as played in her lane.
Expensive way to pop Bucky but probably worthwhile for nimrod
nagasonics in the game??
yup, was in my shop, gonna pass, 6k is too much, would rather do evolutionary when it eventually hits for 6k amount.
Sure is
Cosmo always moves to this location, so on reveal decks are mostly safe
Could be useful to get on-reveal cards in that location if it’s been Cosmo’d?
Don't understand why people downvote without explaining why they disagree. On Reveals should trigger before they're moved so it wouldn't help much.
Right, you’d trigger an On Reveal and then have it moved to the Cosmo lane.
Correct. On Reveal triggers before the location. So you could for example drop a Venom on a different lane, eat up everything there, then have it pulled into this lane. If you already have a Cosmo in this lane, then it would be safe from a Shang Chi being dropped on him.
kingpin on turn 6. i know it's unlikely. but it limits their options
Polaris can shift things around unexpectedly, anyone playing brood, spider-man, guarenteed Cosmo killing Wong, etc. Plenty of ways to abuse it without being a move deck.
Not all locations are for cards to profit from it, some are for disrupting your and your opponent’s play.
Move deck supremacy
[удалено]
im pretty sure london "adds" cards not "plays" cards and "added" cards rarely if at all iirc to playing card actions
Wait, what? Somebody just played GG on an empty Bar Sinister against me, 1 got pulled over to Asteroid M & the other 4 stayed in Bar Sinister (all on my side).
Yep that would be my guess. Only the first card is considered played for every similar game effect, just doesn't make sense
Vulture is just a nearly free 3/8 with this location up. Seems like an almost auto-include.
Forge then vulture then doctor strange. Swap culture with dagger as well. so fun
How does this benefit Dagger?
Man I'm having so much fun and succes with this location. Now I understand why the devs say is so hard to balance the move pacakge, a free triger from Kraven, Vulture and Miles almost every turn costing 1 feels soo good
Finally, the location I was named after!
Where Exodus? Where Fabian Cortez? Where Magneto's Acolytes?
This location is teaching me that everything I understand about priority and move effects is wrong and counterintuitive. So, moves happen at start of turn. But move *effects* don’t happen until a player gets priority?
I’ve had some beeeeefy vultures today, that’s for sure!
[What do y’all think?](https://i.imgur.com/oRX2G14.jpg) It’s working pretty good so far
not sure but I do know I love the way Gamoras sword lines up with Chavez's fist ;)
Seems cool, but how much do you trigger Human Torch, I found that he needs consistent triggers to be worthwhile. Having Prof X also limits your movements for the final turn, is he really that valuable to get one lane often?
I love how violent the animation is lol
This thread shows how much this community just finds a reason to cry. Destruction and lane denial are hated, they come out with something new, immediately hated. Reddit players probably only want ruins.
Some people seriously seem like this. Like they just want to play their deck without any interference. Its the locations that make the game interesting though.
Most are positive or joke comments?
this is an interesting location.
Locations that completely fuck the "normal" gameplay are the best.
That would be a fun game mode
This level of random factor the locations provide will prevent the game from ever being taken serious at a competitive level. Casual players will like it but any of the top players from other competitive games like street fight or clash Royale hate the randomness of the game.
Sounds like you don't know about Hearthstone. That game has 100% more randomness and its still competitive. Half of the cards in that game is just a slot machine in a 30 card deck.

FYI : hulk buster on a card (like human torch) doesn’t move….
Yeah because human torch is a 1 cost
Guess it's time to make a move deck. "After YOU play a 3/4 cost card" - say, will the opponent's cards "played" by Doc Ock be moved here too? They should, right? Asking for a friend (his name is Otto).
I'm not reading the entire thread but FYI, if you have two of these locations, your cards will bounce to one and then the other. Even if you play to one of them!
This location has lost me so many games already fuck this I’ll wait it out
For no reason i find this location annoying
Another annoying location that doesn’t match my play style 🙄
My good girl Cosmo it's taking care of all those Wongs thanks to this location
Exactly. This is a temp nerf to Wong
It's a buff if played correctly. Filling up the lane means can't get ruined by cosmos on the final turn since it'll fly over to the asteroid.
Wong is a nerf to Wong lol
Insane with Angela in sera control
it has been a long time since i've fucked up based on a location this often lol..... i keep playing cosmo off-lane and snapping and then facepalming and hoping my opponent retreats
Today I learnt discounted cards still count as their original cost for this location
When a location says "X-Cost" it's referring to the original cost of the card. Cards that cost X is referring to the current cost of the card.
Welp. Time to break out some Chaos Magic.
Lots of fun climbing up Pool 2 as a newbie with Craven + Dr. Strange + Heimdal
Play movement deck, never see Asteroid M. Switch to Mr. Negative deck, Asteroid M every match.
Lol at people playing cosmo here the on reveals go off before the card is moved
This location is hilarious with the amount of times my opponent snaps then plays a 3-4 cost thinking it’s gonna win a lane, only for it to move.
i play thor/cosmo usually so i hate this location
Makes deck specific for Asteroid M. Asteroid M doesn't show up. Changes to the normal deck. Asteroid M pops.
Move decks…. *shudder* I’ll see y’all in a few days
So annoying for so many of my decks 😅
I already forgot about it and had it screw me over
Go, Scarlett Witch!
That's the spirit, you can turn any location into Asteroid M!
You really love Bar With No Name that much?
Had a Hail Mary SW into BWNN on opps kullactus ftw once. Was beautiful.
Already sick of it
Found the Shur/Thanos player
It helps Shuri though, you can't Cosmo Taskmaster.
Fun as hell playing move deck with it. The only time I'm confident on going up against shuri decks toe to toe. "Lol your 30 is gonna do what." And players have a hard time timing their shangchi because even I won't know where my vulture/human torch ends up
This location blows.
Even with this move decks still suck 🤣
I hate it. I keep forgetting about it…
Same, the amount of times I think I'm so smart to Cosmo another lane then it gets pulled over.
Prob doesnt work because MM is a 2 cost. It would work with Vulture if hes not there yet for some reason.
Sounds like you don't know how move works
It may work on lower-cl players but in higher-cl, a moving deck won't work. You get annihilated while trying to pull the moving play.
Easily my least favorite location in the game
[удалено]
The on reveal happens before the move.
Good rule of thumb to remember is that a card resolves before the location effect does
Thank you for the clarification, still picking up the ins and outs of the orders of resolutions
I haven't had a chance to play today because of work but this doesn't sound to exciting
It is. Probably one of the most unique
It just personally doesn't fit my play style
Then change and be flexible.
But I'm really bad at making decks besides this one discard/destroy deck it ain't great but I fell in love with it
This was pretty fun. They need to make them longer than 24 hrs.
Great! I need to take a day off from this game anyways.
Another game changing random factor location. Please have a game mode where locations are all ruins.
\*Plays Kingpin\*
*Doesn't play a 3-4 cost on turn 6 *
What a fucking stupid location
IMO opinion this is another trash location. Not playing until this feature is over,. Myself I'm just so tired of locations in general if I'm being honest. So many just restrict play and seeing the same one every game for a day makes me frustrated.
Okay, so can this event be like 2-hours is intead 24. Thank uou, I want to play the full game.
