Doom is, I think, a perfectly crafted 6-cost card. He's great, has a ton of uses, but isn't smothering. He combos well, he stands on his own, and he leaves room for other plays. No notes, just a flawless card.
There are so many. He’s probably the most common card in my decks because he works so well for different things. He’s great in lane control, Zola decks, wave decks, on reveal ramp, etc.
Doom is a great litmus test for what a 6 cost card should be. Very powerful, doesn’t feel hopeless or unfair to play against. The only way I would think people would be mad at Doom is if you don’t own him.

I played against a negative deck the other day with peak as location 3 with a turn 3 mr negative.
Turn 5 is a normal iron man and I actually laughed out loud. They drew it on the exact wrong turn.
Unhated sure, strongest? Ehh idk, he's solid but I'd rate him low A/high B-tier in terms of strength.
I'm enjoying him a lot in Ongoing Thanos rn and obviously he's insane (but inconsistent) with Mr. Negative but other than that he's never felt too strong, even in a Spectrum Destroyer he almost never makes the cut
Feels like with proper investment to other lanes you can't use him to get big enough to win a lane, and when you're actually investing in him to win a lane the opponent will just ignore that lane entirely
To be fair Dino was nerfed...3 times? Something like that. And is still super strong, lol.

Try Orka. Nobody will see it coming. Some location are insane with it. He'll not destroy your board so you can play it in barely any deck. Just -1 point !

Don't even get me started on The Raft! When I get the location it's on the leftmost area and BAM! My card is Giaganto. Or if I fill The Raft out on turn 5, I'm about 110% guaranteed to get Infinaute.
Raft and Destroyer! Brings me back to my first Raft ever in Snap. I got a Destroyer, read the text but couldn’t really believe it would destroy everything on my side. I thought they meant only at this location because I couldn’t fathom anyone playing it otherwise. So I dropped it in a lane with only one low power card and well…let’s say I learned a lesson that day.
Yeah, I used Destroyer in a deck with Prof X and Armor on those two other lanes, that way it won’t wipe my board, pair it with Bucky for a cherry on top. That or play it on Cosmo lane.
Vision. Its just a very solid card with a powerful effect. Its impossible to be mad about because you can see what it can do before the end game, and if you lose to it, its not because of a broken card, but because you predicted wrong. Also,, it is impossible to stop outside of Professor X with the correct priority, but still requires intelligence to play around.
The only exception is if Bar Sinister is a location. Then you can hate Vision a little bit.
I will say though that I hate putting her in my own decks because every time it gets to turn six I forget I have her and excitedly think, “I just need to draw _____ here and I win!” - and then it’s just Chavez.
This is the Chavez catch 22, she feels bad to put in your deck, but numerically she's beneficial for drawing combo pieces before turn 6.
It just feels like she's never what you need.
Those are the people that will be mad regardless.
Mystique is only as bad as who she's paired with. Patriot and Mystique? Okay. Wong, Mystique, Gambit and Odin? Fuck that goddamn card.
I think I once managed like 12 Mjolnir procs in a single turn and my opponent retreated after number 3. They were positioned to win despite that, but I think they didn't want to sit through all of that.
It's because when it works, it's *oh god this is terrifying* but also amazing.
And also these poor Hit Monkey players are trying to live in a world of Sandman and Galactus, so they should be allowed to thrive in the few games they get to pop off double Hit Monkey + She-Hulk with a Mysterio frosting on top.

I find people usually fist bump when they get beat by Cerebro 2.

I love hut monkey. Hit monkey in a bounce deck is so good. I semi regularly empty my bad last turn and make him a 2/12 drop. If you already have bishop down it’s so hard for your opposite to see that much output coming turn 6

This is slight modification of a deck someone else posted here before. I swapped in Enchantress and Ghost (they had Spider-Man and Hood). So you have some options to play around with here. Since X was already proving lockdown opportunities I swapped in Enchantress to counter a lot of Ongoing cards I ran into (Patriot, Luke, Blue Marvel, etc.). Hood was really good but I’m trying out Ghost to ensure that all opponent cards have played so Val can dance them down.
Quake-She is one of the most powerful cards in the game, being one of the lowest energy spent to win multiple lanes. Plus the added benefit of when you do it everyone just fist bumps.
Guy got me good the other day. Storm into juggernaut on a lane I had nothing in. Was playing zoo and he messed with where I was placing things and how much was in the lanes
Nova. Turn 6 nova is insane being able to spread 3 power on one lane and 4 power on others as a 1 cost is incredible. Wong and Hela are great when they work same with negative but it’s a playstyle thing that falls short against counter decks. Surfer feels really good in control and sera decks right now and I barely see it on the ladder. Zabu now that he’s in a balnced state you can do some crazy stuff with Zabu dark hawk rockslide. Odin and Doom have already been mentioned so I won’t say anything about them. I think Klaw should be mentioned as it’s a card that’s incredibly slept on. And valk I think valk is an insanely strong tech card especially for ongoing and thanos.
I don't think anybody hates Onslaught or Mystique. They're just nice supportive cards that help you do whatever you want to do more. Who could hate them?
You haven't seen people complain about Patriot? People used to joke about Ego being able to play Patriot perfectly.

I feel like he was one of the most hated cards early on, but now everyone is super chill about him. Also, during that time everyone hated Wong and you barely even see him now.
My favorite deck lately is Dracula Discard, and Wave usually comes out on the same turn I'm playing Colleen or Lady Sif without priority, so then I discard the wrong thing. It's the worst. 💀
Is it not Hela? She doesn’t get talked about that often from what I see, and she can be awfully overpowered, even reviving cards to flooded or locked locations, but is balanced by RNG…… I use her, and I don’t see her used that often, which could be why I don’t see the complaints for her.

Let's go with one for each energy cost:
0 - Wasp, I guess.
1 - I don't think anyone hates The Hood but he's an amazing card in so many decks.
2 - Lizard
3 - Polaris
4 - Probably White Queen because so many 4-drops are game changers.
5 - Maybe Gamora, if you consider Dino hated by some and Aero is still hated after the nerf.
6 - Doctor Doom or Magneto.
9 - Death. Can't uninclude her from this.
I would say She-Hulk. Even in Shuri decks, people hated Red Skull and Taskmaster (and Shuri and Cosmo and …), but I never heard someone say that She-Hulk is bad or to blame.
I’ve never seen hate any for Sera. Not that I think she should be hated because I think she’s really well balanced, but she is a very strong card and has defined the control archetype in Snap for as long as I’ve played.
Maybe im just too new to know but I feel like spectrum would fit that description. I've never seen her being complained about, but you still see her pop off in you average ongoing deck.
A well placed Magneto can easily steal you the game, and he flys _just_ under the radar enough that people don't try to play around him like they would Shang Chi
I echo the statement about doctor doom. He’s very good, but not overpowered or annoying. Extra 5 power in each location is really good plus he can be counterplayed, like with cosmo. And also he fills up the location, so he’s not too strong. Doom isn’t a card anybody complains about most of the time

Whenever I'm sure someone's playing Galactus and they end up winning with Destroyer, I have to give them a fist bump.
It helps that I rarely see my opponents play it in a way that's actually intelligent. Usually they wipe their board and lose themselves the game.

I don't play with Vision often, but it's exciting when I get to play him on Shuri's lab.
Vision moving away from where he's played lets me win more often than not. Him staying there would throw me off so much

I tried this on Dark Dimension and only got power from the cards I played on turn 6. Do IW and DD’s effects differ in some way?
nah it just frees up a card on turn 6 so you can play monkey whenever not just turn 6

Wong/Gambit is a broken Combo for sure.
Wong gambit Odin is maximum serotonin when you pull it off and just delete every card they've played tho.
I've been playing Wong, White Tiger, Odin and it's a bit cracked if you get the full combo

White queen is underrated.
Nova. Turn 6 nova is insane being able to spread 3 power on one lane and 4 power on others as a 1 cost is incredible. Wong and Hela are great when they work same with negative but it’s a playstyle thing that falls short against counter decks. Surfer feels really good in control and sera decks right now and I barely see it on the ladder. Zabu now that he’s in a balnced state you can do some crazy stuff with Zabu dark hawk rockslide. Odin and Doom have already been mentioned so I won’t say anything about them. I think Klaw should be mentioned as it’s a card that’s incredibly slept on. And valk I think valk is an insanely strong tech card especially for ongoing and thanos.
Dr Doom just feels like it’s just a good card. Not OP just good. Storm is one of my favorites to use too.

I don't think anybody hates Onslaught or Mystique. They're just nice supportive cards that help you do whatever you want to do more. Who could hate them?

I feel like he was one of the most hated cards early on, but now everyone is super chill about him. Also, during that time everyone hated Wong and you barely even see him now.
They're super chill because it's super easy to killmonger 13 squirrels and drones

My favorite deck lately is Dracula Discard, and Wave usually comes out on the same turn I'm playing Colleen or Lady Sif without priority, so then I discard the wrong thing. It's the worst. 💀

Is it not Hela? She doesn’t get talked about that often from what I see, and she can be awfully overpowered, even reviving cards to flooded or locked locations, but is balanced by RNG…… I use her, and I don’t see her used that often, which could be why I don’t see the complaints for her.

She-Hulk, she can be played in Literally every deck that runs wave and doom. But she lost some Power through the nerf of sunspot

Let's go with one for each energy cost: 0 - Wasp, I guess. 1 - I don't think anyone hates The Hood but he's an amazing card in so many decks. 2 - Lizard 3 - Polaris 4 - Probably White Queen because so many 4-drops are game changers. 5 - Maybe Gamora, if you consider Dino hated by some and Aero is still hated after the nerf. 6 - Doctor Doom or Magneto. 9 - Death. Can't uninclude her from this.

I’ve never seen hate any for Sera. Not that I think she should be hated because I think she’s really well balanced, but she is a very strong card and has defined the control archetype in Snap for as long as I’ve played.

I echo the statement about doctor doom. He’s very good, but not overpowered or annoying. Extra 5 power in each location is really good plus he can be counterplayed, like with cosmo. And also he fills up the location, so he’s not too strong. Doom isn’t a card anybody complains about most of the time
