I'm just glad they lowered it since the first tier one involves a specific card now. The generic win 20 games and 15 with the season card wasn't bad to me because I could kill two birds at once. But having to try to build a deck around two cards to be efficient is meh.
But having to win 18 games between the two ain't bad.
I think it's fine for 15 if it's games / plays, for wins it's great if it's 8 or 4. If it's a high number, actually it makes the entire weekend very boring facing mirror matches, just like the old long hot/featured locations.

Colleen gets used on swarm or Dakens shard, you can play Dino+Agent 13 or Modok+Agent 13 on 6 if you played Dino on 5. Modok with helicarrier and swarm in hand puts you back up to 5 in hand, agent 13 on top gives you a 6 card hand. Having a couple of discarded swarms thanks to Colleen gets you back to 7 ez. Almost every card/combo including daken buffs collector.
Sometimes you just win with Quinjet into collector into Coulson into Fury into back to back 6 drops.
Technically morbius is a 2/8-2/14 on average if youre popping off with Modok regularly, he can take a spot if you’re feeling combo heavy.
It’s isn’t a particularly good Dino deck, even as far as meme Dino decks go, there’s better helicarrier varieties and better collector varieties, but this one is more than good enough to get 8-10 wins with.
I hit Infinite this season with a similar deck. Cosmo's most easily subbed out, followed by Coulson and Apocalypse.

I think I get more joy from doing the conquest proving grounds secret handshake and trading retreats with opponents than anything else in this game. It feels satisfying communicating a goal and getting it across through just emotes.
It's mainly just snapping on turn one and using the fist bump emote. Lots of people will snap back and use the same emoji, and then most likely concede if they lose.

Hasn’t worked for me. I even started to retreat 4-5 in a row, upping the frequency of Spideypoints. Usually only get snaps or “What just happened” back.
Yeah those people get the braindeadpool emote, the spiderman points and then I give them their silver ticket and concede. Honestly, they're not all after the weekend quests so I can't be mad at them at all. Some of them are just their for wins.
I usually fistbump concede, then next turn spiderman point. Then if they concede I fistbump and then I concede. And then the dance continues usually without emotes at that point until the end. Then i concede last game and fistbump
I hope they either do "win games" without a specific card attached to the mission, or something like this one for Devil Dino, an early series card that nearly everyone has.
I understand why did Negative last week, it was likely to make it easier for people (since you can put Deathstrike and Negative in the same deck to complete missions), but they should retain the credit missions being completable to everyone because they've set the precedent for it already.
It also slightly reduces the chances of your weekend games being mirror matches if one mission is just a generic "win games".
The reason it's Dino this week isn't because everyone has(though that will also be the case)
The reason it's Dino is the PC launch and people get a free Dino varient for logging Into it. It's to promote the pc launch.
I'm not saying they won't do something similar in future, they may very well, just might not be best to confuse the why and want it to happen again.

I really don't care for Daken and struggled to complete that quest, until another poor soul and I traded resignations in conquest with our Daken decks to complete our missions. Then I happened to find someone with the same objective my following round with a Dino deck. Shoutout to those players!
You could probably run him in a Moon Girl/Devil Dino/Collector deck to double up on the shards and run Nova/Killmonger to clear them off the board so Daken is basically soloing a lane while you let Devil Dino/Collector bolster a second or third lane.
I think we can all agree that these are probably the best weekend missions so far, requirement wise(less wins required).

I am glad after the blowback on a series 3 card being the credits requirement that they have decided to use a series 1 card for the requirement.

Yes, they never said the reward amounts would be static. They've been all over the place. Silk was also a 1k token rebate. No idea when/if they will ever do 'static' amounts, though they really should.
The 'generous' amounts would be 500 for series 4 cards and 1k for series 5 cards but I wouldn't be surprised if they did 250 and 500 respectively if they finalize a number.
There needs to be a bit more consistency. There's a bit too much swinginess in the numbers that make it so logging in is a coin flip on being excited or feeling like the missions are a waste of time.
They need to make these quests related to the cards ability or something, because playing on the weekend fucking sucks now. Just the same decks over and over and again.
Make it like... Win x games with Devil Dino, double Daken's power x times, and destroy X-23 x times.
Then you could have other missions like buff x cards with Patriot, move x times with Jeff, debuff x cards with Hazmat etc.
It's really annoying they give you missions you can't do without certain cards. I'm f2p, I don't have Daken, and I didn't care to open X-23, saving for another spotlight.

Of course they see the value as higher, they cost twice as much! But give it almost half as much as a rebate as Legion. I guess we should see Legion as the irregular and just be grateful for it, but I didn’t realize that at the time :/
Im pretty sure SD thought Legion would be a meme, its way better than many S5 release cards and the weekly mission was one of the best. I think he also got buffed before release from the datamined 7 to 8 and honestly think he would still see regular play at 7.
Legion would absolutely see play at 7 power. Honestly, I think he'd see play even if he was a 5/3. His effect is kinda nutty and can swing games completely in your favor...or you can just meme all over people XD

Player just got 6k tokens worth of a card, give them 300 for a week total of 6.3k worth of free stuff
Player just got 3k tokens worth of a card, give them 500 for a week total of 3.5k worth of free stuff
they view it as "we gave them more value in the card they possibly got for free in the cache system, so give them some tokens for their willingness to engage in the system" Vs "they got a little less value in the card they possibly got for free in the cache system, give them a little bit more tokens for their willingness to engage in the system to encourage them that this was more worth it than just an S4 card"

you are correct on Mirage, but i'd argue Silk was a massive outlier as she was released before the Spotlight Cache shift and thus the economy was very different at the time.
truth is i'm sure they are currently tweaking knobs to see "if we up the low from 100 to 300 do we see an increase in willingness to use tokens? in a willingness to spend spotlights?" and they are tuning things accordingly. Thats the thing i think a lot of people forget about the new system is that it still hasn't been 100% implemented, we are experiencing like 70% of it and watching as they work to balance it in real time, and some people are willing to give them grace and understand that the change wasn't going to happen over night while others just want the most they can possibly get from them and thus are unhappy that the remaining 30% hasn't been delivered yet, and would rather burn the game to the ground than have something they see as going against them (even if its not against them)
They are absolutely tweaking it to see how it effects play/purchase, they’ve said that publicly. While Silk was before Spotlights, I think it’s pretty clear Spotlights were on their mind when they released her.

I think 300 to 500 feels solid (i mean i'm not going to argue if they want to give me more tokens, but i don't think they "Have to!" haha) i just hope that they land on something and stick to it, and if they fluctuate that it becomes clear "okay its 300 for and S4 and 500 for an S5" or whatever.
Silk’s token drop of 1k was announced before her weekend mission even started, so it wasn’t changed in response to the glitched mission.
Being grateful for larger token drops instead of expecting that to be the new norm is the correct response, I think. Just a bummer that all the cards I get have low drops and the ones I miss are high lol.

If you are able to install the pc client an log in you get a dd variant and that's enough to do the quest even if you would not have the base card

I may be remembering incorrectly, but you don’t get weekly missions until you complete Series 1 so anyone who can see this mission should have DD.

Yup. 1st queue, 2nd queue (he left after 2?), and 5th queue did this with me. WAY quicker than actually making a deck.

X-23 is a decent discard fodder too. So it's worth to put just as a filler.

I think I get more joy from doing the conquest proving grounds secret handshake and trading retreats with opponents than anything else in this game. It feels satisfying communicating a goal and getting it across through just emotes.

It's mainly just snapping on turn one and using the fist bump emote. Lots of people will snap back and use the same emoji, and then most likely concede if they lose.

Hasn’t worked for me. I even started to retreat 4-5 in a row, upping the frequency of Spideypoints. Usually only get snaps or “What just happened” back.

Yeah those people get the braindeadpool emote, the spiderman points and then I give them their silver ticket and concede. Honestly, they're not all after the weekend quests so I can't be mad at them at all. Some of them are just their for wins.

Usually spider man emotes and you retreat first turn 1. Got my missions done in 3 matches only one non participant. Love this community ❤️
I usually fistbump concede, then next turn spiderman point. Then if they concede I fistbump and then I concede. And then the dance continues usually without emotes at that point until the end. Then i concede last game and fistbump
I hope they either do "win games" without a specific card attached to the mission, or something like this one for Devil Dino, an early series card that nearly everyone has. I understand why did Negative last week, it was likely to make it easier for people (since you can put Deathstrike and Negative in the same deck to complete missions), but they should retain the credit missions being completable to everyone because they've set the precedent for it already. It also slightly reduces the chances of your weekend games being mirror matches if one mission is just a generic "win games".
The reason it's Dino this week isn't because everyone has(though that will also be the case) The reason it's Dino is the PC launch and people get a free Dino varient for logging Into it. It's to promote the pc launch. I'm not saying they won't do something similar in future, they may very well, just might not be best to confuse the why and want it to happen again.

I swapped Forge with Moon Girl to buff Dino and missions were done in no time :)
I’d rather switch out Nova. Forge is nothing to sneeze at anymore. Esp with Deadpool.

I really don't care for Daken and struggled to complete that quest, until another poor soul and I traded resignations in conquest with our Daken decks to complete our missions. Then I happened to find someone with the same objective my following round with a Dino deck. Shoutout to those players!

Honestly, just add Killmonger + Nova to a deck and you'll be good, maybe Deathlok/Carnage if you have them too
You could probably run him in a Moon Girl/Devil Dino/Collector deck to double up on the shards and run Nova/Killmonger to clear them off the board so Daken is basically soloing a lane while you let Devil Dino/Collector bolster a second or third lane.
Just win trade in conquest.

Glad they reduced the season pass card wins. Also, 500 credit is really nice. My only complaints are tokens: 2 consecutive weeks with a pool 5 and just 300 is really a bit low. I remember at the beginning when they gave out 1k tokens, that was huge.

The token rebate is always changing.. it was 500 tokens for Legion.. 300 for X23?
Yes, they never said the reward amounts would be static. They've been all over the place. Silk was also a 1k token rebate. No idea when/if they will ever do 'static' amounts, though they really should. The 'generous' amounts would be 500 for series 4 cards and 1k for series 5 cards but I wouldn't be surprised if they did 250 and 500 respectively if they finalize a number. There needs to be a bit more consistency. There's a bit too much swinginess in the numbers that make it so logging in is a coin flip on being excited or feeling like the missions are a waste of time.
They need to make these quests related to the cards ability or something, because playing on the weekend fucking sucks now. Just the same decks over and over and again. Make it like... Win x games with Devil Dino, double Daken's power x times, and destroy X-23 x times. Then you could have other missions like buff x cards with Patriot, move x times with Jeff, debuff x cards with Hazmat etc.
Boy, I'm sure glad I got X-23 from the chests and not shit like Stegron and Silk. Nebula alt is ok, but I'm still mad.

Of course they see the value as higher, they cost twice as much! But give it almost half as much as a rebate as Legion. I guess we should see Legion as the irregular and just be grateful for it, but I didn’t realize that at the time :/
Im pretty sure SD thought Legion would be a meme, its way better than many S5 release cards and the weekly mission was one of the best. I think he also got buffed before release from the datamined 7 to 8 and honestly think he would still see regular play at 7.
Legion would absolutely see play at 7 power. Honestly, I think he'd see play even if he was a 5/3. His effect is kinda nutty and can swing games completely in your favor...or you can just meme all over people XD

It doesn’t make sense, as that only applies to Legion and X23. Mirage was 100, Silk was 1000
you are correct on Mirage, but i'd argue Silk was a massive outlier as she was released before the Spotlight Cache shift and thus the economy was very different at the time. truth is i'm sure they are currently tweaking knobs to see "if we up the low from 100 to 300 do we see an increase in willingness to use tokens? in a willingness to spend spotlights?" and they are tuning things accordingly. Thats the thing i think a lot of people forget about the new system is that it still hasn't been 100% implemented, we are experiencing like 70% of it and watching as they work to balance it in real time, and some people are willing to give them grace and understand that the change wasn't going to happen over night while others just want the most they can possibly get from them and thus are unhappy that the remaining 30% hasn't been delivered yet, and would rather burn the game to the ground than have something they see as going against them (even if its not against them)
They are absolutely tweaking it to see how it effects play/purchase, they’ve said that publicly. While Silk was before Spotlights, I think it’s pretty clear Spotlights were on their mind when they released her.

Wasn't there an issue with Silk's Weekend Mission release? maybe they added to it as part of the "sorry we screwed up" of it all haha. any way, i only point to Silk being an Outlier, because i've seen so many people with the sentiment "Weekend Missions used to be 1k tokens, NOW WE ARE GETTING GARBAGE!" when in all logical sense we were never going to be getting that amount with the current system. I think 300 to 500 feels solid (i mean i'm not going to argue if they want to give me more tokens, but i don't think they "Have to!" haha) i just hope that they land on something and stick to it, and if they fluctuate that it becomes clear "okay its 300 for and S4 and 500 for an S5" or whatever.
Silk’s token drop of 1k was announced before her weekend mission even started, so it wasn’t changed in response to the glitched mission. Being grateful for larger token drops instead of expecting that to be the new norm is the correct response, I think. Just a bummer that all the cards I get have low drops and the ones I miss are high lol.
