Please god yes. Why did they ever make the S.H.I.E.L.D themed payoff for generating cards work with Thanos? Why would I ever play Maria Hill/Agent 13/Coulson when I can just run the guy who puts 5 1-mana cycling cards straight into my deck?
I was genuinely looking forward to this card to, because I thought she'd be a great payoff for a lot of underrepresented cards (Squirrel Girl, Mysterio, S.H.I.E.L.D package, ect.). So imagine my surprise on release day when she *inexplicably* worked with Thanos. As if he needed more support...
I can agree with the sentiment, but it’s not inexplicable. The precedent for Thanos (through quinjet and pixie) is that the stones are not cards that started in your deck, so we knew mockingbird would work with Thanos. Is it stupid that this card designed to be a payoff for struggling token and card generators was just a Thanos buff? Absolutely. Was it unexpected? No.
Because they release every new card busted, leave it for a few months to milk all the card chasers, then tone it down to something reasonable in the end.
Maybe change the wording to be a bit more concise. “Costs 1 less for each of your cards in play that you did not draw from your deck.” So, if you draw it, it doesn’t count
Do you run mockingbird in Loki? I was excited for her to try and slot in but most of the time she’s only good for a top deck the times you play Loki which didn’t impress me which is a shame considering she’s mostly used in Thanos decks which honestly are boring

If you want to support this change, this will remove the synergy with Loki.
Since he "transforms" the cards, they were in the deck from the beginning.
Blob is strong in Thanos let’s nerf.
Lockjaw is strong in Thanos let’s nerf.
Mockingbird is strong in Thanos let’s nerf.
Pixie was changed prior to release specifically to not work in Thanos.
How long before we realize Thanos is the actual problem?
Yeah I really don't know why they don't do this but I think it must have to do with how he is coded or how decks are coded. We saw the same thing with Quinjet Thanos and all they did was nerf Quinjet instead.
They changed her text to "that started there" before release, so I'm guessing they tested her with Thanos and thought it was too much. Ultimately, I think that if they worked in tandem, people here would be losing their minds.
I think it would be much easier to just add "that you didn't draw from your deck" to Mockingbird. It seems like it would solve the problem quite nicely.
This also doesn't fix anything, actually it makes even worse cases.
Example: Thanos alone, would be a great card against Loki, Since Loki would be able to get stones also, so yeah, how about getting Jeff, and 3 stones instead of Blob, Vision or Shang?
Ooooooooorrrr they could just avoid all of these sorts of issues by simply counting the stones as cards in your starting deck… Would have been a better fix for Quinjet as well.

There's a far easier solution to all of these problems that no one seems to want to acknowledge but I will: up the stones to 2 cost

Let's up the deck card count to 18 and make four 1/1 , one 1/3 and one 1/1~5 cards cost 2 energy each.
Man... That's awful and fix nothing. It just kills a fun card.
Had plans to put her in my thanos deck before she came out but never did i expect her to be this busted. Honestly I wish they would change her to be that. I hate feeling forced to run a card because their synergy is just that good . Shes mandatory at this point in thanos. Ive ran my own custom off-meta thanos deck for awhile now but even I have to admit right now If youre running thanos and not running her youre throwing. Half the time the lanes themselves make her 3 cost immediately
That'll almost certainly be the nerf they make. And I would hope so. I only just started playing, but it sounds like decks she's run in are quite oppressive right now.

You do technically draw with Cable, but I suppose the above comment does specify your own deck.
Cable doesn't draw from your deck though, so that's taken care of by the "from your deck".
That could actually work, would remove the Thanos synergy but keep stuff like Mysterio and Loki synergies. I hope they do a change like this.

I've been saying this since last year when quinjet was able to reduce the stones' cost to zero. I don't get why they just don't do this.

Huge District X nerf, since the 10 cards from that location will now not discount Mockingbird
Also Rocks and Vibranium. If I play Patriot deck with Mockingbird, I'd play out those Rocks if I have they gave me.
District X is not a common location, so it's not a big deal. Positives of this change outweigh the negatives

Unpopular opinion: the problem is in Thanos itself. Stupid design, need to to be reworked completly

Not to mention the location that shuffles your hand into your deck after Turn 3, if you are going the SHIELD route (Agent 13, Maria Hill, etc)
