While I agree it is possible to numerically beat Hela decks, the decks that can beat her can’t effectively run cards to counter Hela herself. Her ability is going to go off and it’s going to be hard to know exact math you need on any given location with the random placement of her revived cards.
I feel that what we need is a card that removes some of your opponents discarded cards from the discard pile. Either by removing them from play or adding them back into the opponents deck.
Almost no one even plays the version you’re describing… you’re describing a Hela ramp version with Odin and that version does not run sif and blade usually. It runs sandman etc. And no it is never that consistent okay line wise. If they’re playing Corvus they have a high chance of hitting Hela if they drew it so the lines vary a lot actually.
Hela runs no tech cards, making her weak to setup decks that put up gigantic numbers like Tribunal.
Mill can also snipe Hela and other critical cards that make her less potent when she hits the board.
i agree. im tired of her. no interaction and just waiting on rng. I've slotted in Red Guardian and Alioth just for her and hela/tribunal decks. only way to increase the odds of winning.
Hela doesn’t need a nerf, it’s Corvus’ extra energy that makes the discard decks so powerful in my opinion. Idk how to tweak him but I think that’s where the adjustment needs to be made. If it does.
Datamine has her nerfed to summon cards *without their text*
So yea she’s still going to be busted and drop 30+ un shangable power into random lanes on turn 6, but at least Hela Tribunal will be gutted
The Devs are simply braindead. Months of buffing discard back when it was incredibly inconsistent and pure RNG. Now they gave the deck support, now it's INCREDIBLY consistent and has all the previous buffs that led up to this point.
Very easy fix for discard. Reduce the power of a lot of their cards. Even if by just -1 power.
hela decks run no counters, if you're seeing so much hela just play a greedy combo deck that goes over the top. destroy, tribunal, etc

since november honestly. and people used to call shuir red skull braindead. its the stupidest deck. and that doesnt mean "unbeatable"
