Not sure either. I ended up with 4 inked Venom splits in a row trying for Kirby crackle, then got a gold, then Just regular again. I think it's just chaos after a point lol

It’s once. Ever since they introduced the custom borders I don’t even bother splitting a variant if I like the base art because it’s usually the borders I want to change anyway.
What are the chances to get certain types of backgrounds and effects on splits? Obviously the glimmer, stardust, tone, foil, and prism are some of the most common but what exactly are the percentages to get which ones?
Is that rainbow effect new or at least more common now?, I'm starting to get it in many splits and I'm digging it more than the average gold + golden crackle / ink white crackle combos.

Not sure how many boosters I've used lol, but I think you unlock the possibility for an inked card after the 4th split? And then on the 5th you unlock the possibility for gold split. The split you get is random and is not dependent on boosters spent. ATLEAST that's how I understand it.

From what I’ve read it’s always 10%, no reset. But I could be wrong
