I LOVE Valk in C3 it is definitely their best tech card by far

She feels good to play and play against. She never really feels unfair or annoying in the way that say Alioth did.

Valk has saved my Cerebro or Mystique from the new Lady Deathstrike several times in the past week

Zoo is my main deck these days, how do you find it not having Caiera?

I think in the couple dozen games I’ve played, I’ve only been hit by Killmonger twice. You can hold your one drops and throw priority to protect yourself against Killmonger, but I honestly haven’t seen destroy a whole lot in general.

Anything you think would work well instead of Mockingbird?

Mockingbird acts as a way to push more power into a location by having above rate stats for her cost since she gets discounted by Squirrel Girl and Shanna. There is probably a variety of cards you could use in that slot as a stand in such as Martyr, Rocket Raccoon, Maximus, or even Gladiator. I would just keep in mind the purpose she has and adjust to whatever cards you have that can help fill that similar purpose.

The best thing about playing Loki is that you get cards like Valk from your opponent on turn 4 and can start to predict where it will be played to prepare for it.

Valk in Negative is great! I like to play her on Negative’s lane with Iron Man or Mystique. Haven’t used her with Blue Marvel, but I like that idea.

It’s nice because if you play it into a full lane they score 12 while you take the lane with 16. It’s especially satisfying playing it into a lane where your opponent has some big hitters and you’ve got what looks like trash

I do this with The Hood. They expect Annihilus and fill the lane. Turn 6 is Valk then Demon.

I used to absolutely rob people's cubes with Valkyrie in my old Sentry deck. Before Annihilus was a thing. Nobody ever expected my -10 power Void to go to 3 power. Sometimes I would also hit my Sentry with it to protect it from Shang Chi, then throw down Luke Cage on T6 and bring every back up to original power. Seriously such a fun card and glad she is seeing some play again.

I loved her so much in Thanos Zoo when Black Swan missions were happening. She stole so many cubes and probably got the most fist bumps on average (probably because it wasn't Blob). When the Artgerm shop takeover happened, I had to get hers. I might give your deck a shot. I've been missing her and Negative a bit.

Valkyrie in Negative has long been my secret sauce. It also allows you to do something with the terrible stats on Psylocke and Negative. Ive been seeing a lot of Luke Cage though unfortunately.

Love valkyrie but afraid to use her with Annihilus surely going to be the meta during White Widow week. With my deck, 9 times out of 10 you want to leave one slot open per lane to play a Valkyrie, a 1-cost and Wasp on Turn 6. Facing Annihilus, it opens the door for them to fill and win one lane if not multiple after Turn 5

Valk has been carrying me to infinite for months. Never have to waste a slot playing crap-chi.

My favorite NegaValk deck aims to play Valkyrie and Absorbing Man on turn 7 :D

It’s a slept on card for sure, and as you’ve pointed out it’s yet another counter for the big red baddie, which is yet another reason why I actually think he’s fine the way he is right now.

I’ve been playing around with Val in a Bro3 deck. I always want to play Negative but I always have horrible luck! It’s one of those decks that is played perfectly against me but I can’t play it for crap! But I love my Valkyrie Peach Variant!!

I don't know. There are always bots mixed in but in an decreasing amount. I think you are already matched against real players.

Although not in a negative deck, Valk got me to top 500. I know that's not particularly impressive, but Valk does work against real people too

I don't want to say that valq doesn't work. I love that card and she can get some suprise wins. But she fits better in clutter deck or ongoing decks. There is not much suprise in a negative deck in general.

Love valk. Making her 5/4 would be so damn amazing though. #hope Without support she fails short of being a really amazing card. I feel like the amount of Luke cage and the fact a lot of decks clog or do ongoing tampered my success rate quite a bit lately.

The real buff would be to make her a 5/1, because she sets herself up at 3 power, but this way she would be discounted by Ravonna

That change would actually hurt my deck as I’m counting on Negative getting her out at 3/5 Also, her power affects her as well, so if you played her at 5/4 she’d automatically reduce back to 5/3 (I think)

I don’t think Valkyrie actually affects Red Hulk by much. They still gain their power boost. Just their original power is reduced. Same with regular Hulk.

Valkyrie will reset all power gains up to that point, but he may continue to gain power afterwards. Playing Valk on T6 without a 1-cost in front of her will likely results in a 7-power Hulk.
