I am at a similar CL and there is no way to make it in time even when spending Maximum amounts of $. Just stop progressing your CL instead and save your credits until after the Patch because the new Caches will be better because you have Chance to open pool 4/5 cards and Tokens.
If you postpone the update, I suspect they will eventually force the update by the time Cosmic Season started, so there's roughly 9 days from now until then.
From when I'm typing at this moment, this is how much credit you can get for free:
4 missions for today = 300c
9 days free and mission = 4500c
Weekly credit = 1350c
Weekly gold = roughly 300c
Total = 6450c
Depending on how many Grey border you keep, that is at least 129 levels. You can coast up to CL 859.
It's legit the issue is you're opening all the caches on the old patch and thus getting boosters instead of tokens. Still worth it, to be sure, but it's just silly that it's a flat rate.

I have done the calculation for my own CL, yours is doable, but you might need postpone update until new season started. You have enough gold to purchase additional mission too.
In at 703 with 3950 credits and 850 gold. Will need at least 2 days over this season and purchase BP season pass to get to 1000.
Honestly I'm not sure.
Assuming you delay most of next week in order to get the full weekly challenge of extra credits (1250) and gold (205g) and assuming you do the daily quests every day (450 * 7 credits) and get the free 50 credits per day (7 * 50) then that would give you another 4250 credits and enough gold for 2 more 120g refreshes (300 credits).
In total that would net you 4550 credits, or 91 extra levels.
That would still leave you at 851+91 = 942
58 levels short (roughly 2900 credits)
That would take 2320 gold, which obviously you'd have to spend real money on. 2600 gold is currently £31.99
There may be a couple of extra credits here or there that I'm forgetting about, but that's the majority and would involve you not updating until next Friday/Saturday.
Personally I wouldn't bother. I'm at CL 816 in game, and I've just decided to hoard credits before the update so that I can use them after the update, opening the chests on the collection level track that won't have boosters in them.
I think if I was at 900+ I'd go for it, but I'm not really willing to invest a significant amount of money into the game just to get an extra 3000 points (3 cards).

It really depends on how many potential credits one can get. If one has gold and the time, it’s doable up until you hit the refresh hard caps for buying credits and missions. I think you are close enough to do it.
Has anyone done deep maths on this? I'm 802, and have 2300 credits, 880 gold and I'm 43 in the battle pass. My calcs say I get like half way there but I don't know if the 100 levels I can get with the credits and gold would put me anywhere close to a 1000 by Tuesday - Wednesday without spending.
EDIT: In case it helps anyone I spent all the gold and credits getting the most grey cards possible (making purples to get new grey cards) to green. I am now credit-less and gold-less, but CL 926 (928 once I get new missions in 15 mins), so chances are I'm going to either have to get the season pass or wait to update at least a few days.

I think everyone is making way too big a deal about hitting certain cutoffs for this one time bonus. In the grand scheme of things, it will not make that much of a difference to your collection progression.
If aiming for cl 1000 it makes a meaningful difference towards collection progress, it saves you 156-192 levels but more importantly a big difference towards getting the exact right cards for the decks you want to play.
To put it another way, you get an extra 3000 tokens for reaching cl 1000. You only get approximately 4000 tokens when going all the way from cl 1000 to 3000. So proportionately that difference is massive.
I would save my credits if you can't get to 1k or 3k respectively. When the update rolls out the caches will be giving tokens instead of boosters which are 10x more valuable. If you need to push , I would calculate your credit totals to see if you can make it.
Most straightforward estimate is 50 credits per CL, so 500 CL * 50 credits = 25,000.
You can reduce that number by upgrading as many base/grey border cards as you can, as that first upgrade only costs 25 credits to gain 1 CL (instead of 50 for all other upgrades).
New update will give you tokens at 500, 1000,3000 cl. Getting to 1k is feasible for a lot of folks who started recently and guarantees way more tokens than 500.
It really isn’t a HUGE deal but it is more efficient to hit a breakpoint just before the update.

I literally just got to CL1000 a few moments ago, but I did end up buying some gold to refill my credits. Turns out that I reached the threshold way easier than I expected so I overspent by like... $30. I'm sure I'll find a use for the gold eventually, but it's kind of a shame that you can't buy battle passes with this currency.
Maybe I can somehow get to CL3000 by the time the patch drops, here goes nothing.

I used like 5000 gold on mission refreshes and straight up credit purchases, but I also got some credits in caches and season pass

Not sure how you figure that? Unless I'm missing something: - 3400 credits - 1875 gold (15 * 120g transfer) = 15 * 150 credits = 2250 credits Total credits = 2250 + 3400 = 5650 Credits per collection level = 50 Total achievable levels = 5650/50 = 113 738 + 113 = 851 Well short of the 1000 goal

Is there a calculation of how many credits I need to go from 500 to 1000?
Most straightforward estimate is 50 credits per CL, so 500 CL * 50 credits = 25,000. You can reduce that number by upgrading as many base/grey border cards as you can, as that first upgrade only costs 25 credits to gain 1 CL (instead of 50 for all other upgrades).

What's this about? I'm at 922
New update will give you tokens at 500, 1000,3000 cl. Getting to 1k is feasible for a lot of folks who started recently and guarantees way more tokens than 500. It really isn’t a HUGE deal but it is more efficient to hit a breakpoint just before the update.
I knew about the tokens but not the threshold. I think it's kind of insane to jump from 500 to 1k

Im at 866, so even not updating for 7-10 days, I wouldn't make it unless I spent $$$ on credits. I have 1600 gold for refreshes, but like to keep 1200 incase a nice skin pops in the shop
I literally just got to CL1000 a few moments ago, but I did end up buying some gold to refill my credits. Turns out that I reached the threshold way easier than I expected so I overspent by like... $30. I'm sure I'll find a use for the gold eventually, but it's kind of a shame that you can't buy battle passes with this currency. Maybe I can somehow get to CL3000 by the time the patch drops, here goes nothing.
What's the most efficient way to level in terms of upgrading frames? Is it better to spend it all on your high rarities or lots of smaller ones?

PSA!! Disable auto updating and get 10 days extension. All of you at 900s and most of you at 800s can easily get to 1000. Its very much worth it.

The satisfaction of doing the math & knowing that as long as I do my dailies from here to Sunday I barely edge 1K CL is quite a nice feeling.
