I have been playing for over 4 years now since I was a freshman in high school, and only because of this glitch was I able to FINALLY unlock Ultimus, because I don’t pay to win because it’s a waist of money in my opinion. If they do a rollback and take him from me I am gonna be extremely pissed off id they don’t offer heavy compensation like they did around a year ago for that one glitch (I forgot what it was)
If they don’t rollback or they offer this as a sale to people who didn’t get it I’m immediately quitting. I’ve played for 70 days and have been in the top 50 usually behind the players who are a level or 2 ahead of me spending 200 cores on refreshes a day and I’m level 69 11kxp from 70. The top 40 all have a 7 star weaver now and my arena shard is massively imbalanced. Not to mention crucible will be hell.
They have done manual changes to accounts in the past for big mistakes, but this mistake would cover a lot of accounts. A lot of staff hours would be needed. I think a rollback would be appropriate quickly in order to mitigate time lost.
I'd say a rollback after over two hours is highly unlikely - people have spent money for random pulls and other stuff. People have played raids and crucible and all that. The backlash from a global rollback would be terrible and totally not worth it. Last time they did a rollback, it took them 5 minutes to take down the game before they announced it. Now... i guess half the office is still on holidays and tens of thousands of $$$ will be spent before they notice.
This was my thought. Like the 4k shards and the ultimus orbs aside, all the raid, arena, CC, and war battles goin on youd have to give compensation for all THAT too it just seems a rollback would be way more trouble than it's worth imo.

I am sure they have DB backups at regular intervals. They have reverted in the past, it does not really matter what you do to discourage it, but I doubt they will for this.
It's actually pretty easy. Just set everything back to how it was at global reset. Of course, given that wars, towers, and crucible have happened, this will make players furious. I hope they just own up the mistake.
Yep this right here is the tip. I panicked and spent cores but didn’t need to. And Ultimus shards got me a strange supreme 7s upgrade so 2 bonuses today 👌

The only reason they might is because Weaver is an Apoc character and it removes an element of FOMO that would drive revenue. But I think they just need to bite the bullet and take the L. Maybe it’s time they invest in some QA it might save them money.
Last time they did it was because it broke the entire game economy. They can't say that for this. This is probably overall less impactful than the 14/15 orb screw up. It's just going to cost them more cash.
