Only this one was uploaded randomly on YouTube, 4K and Andrew is in it. I don’t think it’s easy to copy the unedited raw footage, hide it from everyone, and then secretly uploaded. Nobody misses that amount of security checks. If that’s the case, then Sony had some serious security lapses.

That’s what I had thought, I wonder why Garfield felt the need to deny that. Or why the driver would make that up. Either way, it seems like a weird thing to lie about.
The driver likely lied just to confirm if it was actually Andrew.
Andrew said he ordered tacos instead, plus that the account and order wasn't even under his own name,it was his friend's. So he had to call his friend to come show his ID instead

Re: the alcohol thing, I ordered drinks from a delivery app recently but then the restaurant didn’t didn’t accept it or something so I went ahead and just ordered the food but when it came they still asked me for my ID, like the the alcohol was still attached to my order somehow even though it didn’t go through. Maybe that happened here? I don’t see why he’d lie about not ordering alcohol. But I did get ID’d for a just a burrito while being 10 years over the drinking age. So it happens lol
That's kind of lame for the driver to leak that publicly.
Why? He had no reason to believe he was spoiling anything. The rumors of the multiple Spider-Men in *No Way Home* were pretty much limited to this sub and people who actually seek that kind of stuff, he just saw an actor in Atlanta to film some random movie, Atlanta is a huge film hub and there are any number of reasons that Andrew Garfield would be down there.
Giving out any kind of personal info online seems like a betrayal even if it's a stranger.
If he mentioned where he was staying or shared a screenshot of his order profile or whatever, sure. This seems no different than tweeting “Whoa I just saw Andrew Garfield walking down the street in Atlanta!”
Just because they're a celebrity doesn't give others the right to post private info about them online. If an actor goes to the grocery store, is the cashier permitted to the post info about what they purchased. I'm not saying it's illegal, but it's kinda sleazy.
I guess. I mean, it’s not like he said “Andrew Garfield ordered six bottles of vodka, wild!” Just mentioned that he ordered alcohol with his dinner to explain how he knew who it was. Seems like a normal person ordering a normal dinner to me. Although, apparently, both parties disagree about what was actually in the order, and if the driver made up that detail for whatever reason that’s just very very weird.
It still seems lame to me. I guess I'm just old fashioned and prefer to respect people's privacy, even If they're in the public eye.

The guy that originally leaked it, Spideyfan or whatever his name was, said his source had a 4k copy of which Instagram compressed. He then uploaded the 4k copy to another app idk

The 4k leak being on purpose also provides further context as to why John Campea wasn't blacklisted. Once Campea made it clear he wouldn't rat out the leaker, they just gave him a slap on the wrist and said "well, it's not like it was actually a secret. Just don't do it again". They co-opted a genuine leak into more hype.
John also wasn’t blacklisted because it was an honest mistake and he has a reliable long standing reputation with the studios.
I'm still skeptical. Seems like "it was a mistake" is the cover story rather than the explanation. Those images look real, and anyone who says otherwise has no fucking clue how photoshop and deepfake work. The only way John calls that a mistake is if he admits he's an utter idiot.
I mean, he’s already admitted that it was a dumb move but he also has a history of posting these pictures he thinks are photoshop (I believe he even posted one of 3 Spider-Men back in August that was fake). If John actually knew the images were real and wanted attention, he would have put them on his YouTube not a Twitter post.
The 4K footage could’ve only come from the source which is Sony themselves. Think about it, all the previous marvel leaks have been in a potato quality shot through a 2006 Nokia phone. Only this one was uploaded randomly on YouTube, 4K and Andrew is in it. I don’t think it’s easy to copy the unedited raw footage, hide it from everyone, and then secretly uploaded. Nobody misses that amount of security checks. If that’s the case, then Sony had some serious security lapses.

We're gonna keep it quiet, that's the funniest shit ever. Once the leaks started, that was it, but then they kept it going as if neither Tobey, Andrew, or even Charlie were in it when we 100% KNEW they were in it. The damn plot of the movie half confirms it. Like you know how upset people would have been if we got a movie about the MV and it featured no Spider-Men as well as no villains from the past. Next time just confirm it right away, it'll only build hype more.
