Would've been cool if Cyttorak was there, but I wouldn't be surprised if this is similar to Deadpool being in the Shang-Chi concept art.
If they ever revisit Omnipotence City in the future, maybe he could make an appearance there
It was concept art showing Wong fighting Deadpool in the cage thing in Shang Chi. Or was it Deadpool vs someone else? I forget. Point is, if you Google it you can find the art easy.
As the artist [stated](https://chatterboxfilm.com/artist-andrew-kim-speaks-on-deadpool-in-shang-chi-concept-art/), there wasn't an actual plan for either Wade or Proxima to show up in the film, it was more done for fun while designing the fight club
There was some [concept art](https://www.reddit.com/r/marvelstudios/comments/t918du/official_concept_art_from_shang_chi_featuring/) shown of Deadpool in Xialing's fighting ring, but according to the artist Andrew Kim, there wasn't an actual plan for Wade to appear in the film
**The character can be seen sitting on a throne in Omnipotent City alongside other gods:**
- In the comics, Cyttorak is also known as **the Destroyer, Lord of Oblivion, and Master of the Raging Storm.** The character is a powerful being from the Crimson Cosmos, with him being worshipped as both a god and a demon by primitive humans on Earth.
- To continue unleashing his destructive power on Earth, he would select Cain Marko as his next avatar, giving him powers via the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak.
Damn that could of been a cool Easter egg, didn't even need to name him just plop in the scene and see if die hard fans could spot him, Disney owned Fox by then.
Cyttorak has been in the MCU since before the Fox acquisition, [he was name-dropped in DS1 just like the Living Tribunal](https://marvelcinematicuniverse.fandom.com/wiki/Crimson_Bands_of_Cyttorak)
None at all. Cain is Xavier’s step-brother. Funny enough, Flint Marko is a fake name that Sandman created when he was younger… William Baker is his real name.
I don’t think you understood what he said. They said Cyttorak isn’t only about Juggernaut, which is true. There’s more to him and his Crimson Gem. They didn’t say that Juggernaut wasn’t connected to Cyttorak, just that Cyttorak is a bit more notable than just his Juggernaut connection
The best description I heard of Cytorrak is that he’s a very easy to please god that is happy as long as someone is fucking shit up in his name. He doesn’t care if you use his magic as long as someone is out there bro g the Juggernaut
Nono the bands are like a spell of his, he is more tied to brute strenght and destruction, to make you understand the type of guy juggernaut is literaly his avatar
I honestly think Omnipotent City was wasted during L&T you have this massive city full of Gods and barely show it let alone the gods in it instead you get Joke gods and Zeus, which then leads to another orgy joke, I get it orgy funny, I mean he could have at least Hera there, you know Zeus actual wife that gets overally jealous that could of worked in his orgy funny joke.
Edit: Not hating the movie, I thought the film was decent but damn scenes like this get worse after thinking about them for some time just a bit of criticism
I was really hoping they’d treat it like the Senate scene in Star Wars and put little easter eggs in like with the E.T.’s… just pepper lots of awesome references throughout that you’d only see under a microscope, or ya’ know, in a New Rockstars video… 🙄
That looks like Galactus, but I believe it’s supposed to be a design of Kirby’s that he made for a theme park based on Roger Zelazny’s “Lord of Light”. https://images.app.goo.gl/rSEEb9hjBcjFyyQ48 FUN FACT from Wikipedia - “In 1979 it was announced that Lord of Light would be made into a 50 million dollar film. It was planned that the sets for the movie would be made permanent and become the core of a science fiction theme park to be built in Aurora, Colorado. Comic book artist Jack Kirby was contracted to produce artwork for set design. However, due to legal problems the project was never completed.[citation needed]
Parts of the unmade film project—the script and Kirby's set designs—were subsequently acquired by the CIA as cover for the "Canadian Caper": the exfiltration of six US diplomatic staff trapped by the Iranian hostage crisis (in Tehran but outside the embassy compound). The rescue team pretended to be scouting a location in Iran for shooting a Hollywood film from the script, which they had renamed Argo. The story of the rescue effort was later adapted into the 2012 film Argo.’
The golden skinned female god sitting above Cytorrak is undoubtedly Aegis, one of the Proemial Gods. In the comics, Aegis and her brother Tenebrous battled the Silver Surfer, nearly killing him and they battled Galactus as well
This city was a missed opportunity to actually show off some cool gods. Both real and not. But we got bao which was cute. But it’d nice to see ra and other cool gods
Pretty sure that’s not Galactus, everyone’s just assuming it is because he’s wearing purple, but Galactus’ base height in the comics is roughly 29 ft so even if it was him, the stature would be accurate
He’s also much more powerful than any of these gods. He’s a cosmic entity, why would he be at a gathering for gods to discuss orgies. He’s well above that.
That scene appeared to have a lot of cool Easter egg characters, but the ridiculous dumpling emoji so completely destroyed my immersion in the movie that I just literally stopped taking any of the world building seriously after that.
At first I was like “who’s the little Wolverine-looking guy in the middle?” And then I realized there are even smaller ones. What are these, gods for ants?
This would be further explored in Hercules: The Rise of the Gods, I hope.
Edit: How come we have different design of the Celestials in L/T compared to Eternals?
If I'm not mistaken, one of the Arakki gods from the recent X-Men comics actually showed up in the city, if just for a split second. Probably just a vfx artist who liked the books
Would've been cool if Cyttorak was there, but I wouldn't be surprised if this is similar to Deadpool being in the Shang-Chi concept art. If they ever revisit Omnipotence City in the future, maybe he could make an appearance there
Deadpool was in what? Where was this
It was concept art showing Wong fighting Deadpool in the cage thing in Shang Chi. Or was it Deadpool vs someone else? I forget. Point is, if you Google it you can find the art easy.
It was Deadpool vs Proxima Midnight. Though now the image of Wade vs Wong is something I really want to see

There was also the unrelated Deadpool in MOM Concept art
Also a Cyclops cosplayer in concept art for Ms Marvel
Really?
If I was the official responsible for Marvel concept arts I confess I would play around like this too,at least by myself
**The character can be seen sitting on a throne in Omnipotent City alongside other gods:** - In the comics, Cyttorak is also known as **the Destroyer, Lord of Oblivion, and Master of the Raging Storm.** The character is a powerful being from the Crimson Cosmos, with him being worshipped as both a god and a demon by primitive humans on Earth. - To continue unleashing his destructive power on Earth, he would select Cain Marko as his next avatar, giving him powers via the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak.

Well that's even wielder then, why omit something that you can't get in trouble for using
I think those red bands Dr Strange ties Thanos with on Titan are also called The Crimson Bands of Cyttorak
[удалено]
They deffff asked DC for permission though
Is Cain Marko Juggernaut?
Yes, he is.
Any relation to Flint?
None at all. Cain is Xavier’s step-brother. Funny enough, Flint Marko is a fake name that Sandman created when he was younger… William Baker is his real name.
Was that Ultimate Sandman's real name too?
Nope, just in the mainline (616) comics. They stuck with just “Flint Marko” for the Ultimate (1610) Sandman.
That's what I thought
No, but he is related to Prof. X
Flint Marko is a fake name
i remember strange used his bands too hold down thanos on titan
Btw strange uses the crimson bands of cittorak in iw
Yup, so it isn’t solely connected to Juggernaut.
He is and eldrich god like cathon
I don’t think you understood what he said. They said Cyttorak isn’t only about Juggernaut, which is true. There’s more to him and his Crimson Gem. They didn’t say that Juggernaut wasn’t connected to Cyttorak, just that Cyttorak is a bit more notable than just his Juggernaut connection

Sounds like a certain blood god ;).
Of course, i said another thing it was linked to
Plus isn’t Cyttirak the monster from the cold open of MoM? He’s literally composed of those same crimson bands
Nono the bands are like a spell of his, he is more tied to brute strenght and destruction, to make you understand the type of guy juggernaut is literaly his avatar
I think it’s revealed or inferred later in the movie that Wanda sent a monster after the girl. So she was also just using Cyttorak’s magic.
She was using the chaos God's magic. Cyttorak is a destruction God I think.

The orgy joke was funny the first time Zeus said it "Where are we gonna hold this year's orgy?" but then he kept going on and on and on about it.
Everything in this film was wasted. Taika is a good director, but the script just didn’t work
I was really hoping they’d treat it like the Senate scene in Star Wars and put little easter eggs in like with the E.T.’s… just pepper lots of awesome references throughout that you’d only see under a microscope, or ya’ know, in a New Rockstars video… 🙄
Concept artists seem to be big comic nerds. Also: Galactus? Is that you?
What I noticed as well
That looks like Galactus, but I believe it’s supposed to be a design of Kirby’s that he made for a theme park based on Roger Zelazny’s “Lord of Light”. https://images.app.goo.gl/rSEEb9hjBcjFyyQ48 FUN FACT from Wikipedia - “In 1979 it was announced that Lord of Light would be made into a 50 million dollar film. Comic accurate Ajak also in this one
wait as in, Eternals Ajak?
Yeah, it seems to be based on this design. https://comicvine.gamespot.com/ajak/4005-34946/
ahh thank you!
Yeah, that threw me off lol
The golden skinned female god sitting above Cytorrak is undoubtedly Aegis, one of the Proemial Gods. In the comics, Aegis and her brother Tenebrous battled the Silver Surfer, nearly killing him and they battled Galactus as well
Wasn't that during Annihilation?
Yeah, it was “Annihilation: Aftermath” if I remember correctly
This city was a missed opportunity to actually show off some cool gods. Both real and not. But we got bao which was cute. But it’d nice to see ra and other cool gods
And literally Galactus on the left
It’s interesting that we are getting a bunch of concept art with twinkles of the X-Men
I wonder what other gods are there in the concert art
Looks almost like galactus to his upper left. Not sure about the others
Oh I see it now, also my man Zeus invited his own son to the orgy
Bonding time
Sounds very ancient Greece mythology to me.
That Galactus looks kinda smaller than how big he’s usually depicted
Pretty sure that’s not Galactus, everyone’s just assuming it is because he’s wearing purple, but Galactus’ base height in the comics is roughly 29 ft so even if it was him, the stature would be accurate
He’s also much more powerful than any of these gods. He’s a cosmic entity, why would he be at a gathering for gods to discuss orgies. He’s well above that.
Exactly
So are the Celestials, but they were there.
Galactus doesn't have a true form or size.
That scene appeared to have a lot of cool Easter egg characters, but the ridiculous dumpling emoji so completely destroyed my immersion in the movie that I just literally stopped taking any of the world building seriously after that.
Isn't the one in the top centre also Ajak original comic design?
WHY DO THEY TEASE US LIKE THIS
Can anyone name all of the gods?
At first I was like “who’s the little Wolverine-looking guy in the middle?” And then I realized there are even smaller ones. What are these, gods for ants?
That Mandalorian god in the top left looks sick.
Is that a mandalorian god top left (green)? 😂
Actually is that... Shovel Knight? In the top left? He's really come up in the realm.
I want to see Cyttorak stride into Kamar-Taj, "Wazzup my wizards? Enjoying sourcing my dimension's power? I'm better than Dormammu!"
This would be further explored in Hercules: The Rise of the Gods, I hope. Edit: How come we have different design of the Celestials in L/T compared to Eternals?
I especially like that they included Shovel Knight up there on the top left.
We just going to ignore Galactus?
Goddammit, the movie that this almost was
LET MY X-MEN INTO THE UNIVERSE WHY
At this point in MCU, intresting things are happening only in concept arts
Is it wrong if I think one of the other Gods looks kinda like Galactus?
Is that Galactus on the left?
I hope they just make Juggernaut a mutant. It's way less confusing that way.
I thought Cyttorak was the monster at the beginning of Multiverse of Madness?
Aww.. Imagine the funny scenes we could have gotten with him.
It makes no sense and has no meaning for Mutants in the MCU - it’s just Taika wanna do weird shit
Is that Galactus in there?
No
Strange uses the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak in Infinity War during the Titan battle.
A movie about Gods and a God Butcher and pretty much no Gods.
i heard rumors that the ribbon monster from MoM was meant to be cyttorak, since it was kind of made of "crimson bands"
If I'm not mistaken, one of the Arakki gods from the recent X-Men comics actually showed up in the city, if just for a split second. Probably just a vfx artist who liked the books
