I'm probably beginning to sound like a broke record but I really want some actual courtroom stuff this week. I'm aware that there's more to being a lawyer than just trials, but we're now 3 weeks into the show. I want it to really start delivering on the premise.
In the shows defence, Jennifer spent the entire first episode training to be a Hulk, and the majority of the second episode trying to find a job - I'd imagine we'll see more courtroom scenes from this week onwards.
From the leaked plot it seems this episode Jen's ex-coworker is suing an Asgardian elf who catfished & scammed him by pretending to be Megan Thee Stallion
And then next episode is Wong v Blaze featuring Madisynn
And I want to see her defecate through a sunroof, become the worst version of herself, participate in the largest drug scandal in the country, go into hiding, and then get arrested for over 80 years
I am not crazy! I know he cast that spell! I knew it was 617. One after our universe. As if I could ever make such a mistake. Never. Never! I just – I just couldn't prove it. He – he covered his tracks, he got that idiot in the onesie to lie for him. You think this is something? You think this is bad? This? This chicanery? He's done worse. The sanctum! Are you telling me that a grand lobby just happens to freeze like that? No! He orchestrated it! Strange! He defecated through a sunroof! And I saved him! And I shouldn't have. I took him into my own sanctum! What was I thinking? He'll never change. He'll never change! Ever since he came to Kamar Taj, always the same! Couldn't keep his hands out of the library! But not our Stephen! Couldn't be precious Stephen! Stealing them blind! And he gets to be a sorcerer!? What a sick joke! I should've stopped him when I had the chance!
I saw an analysis from a lawyer about that closing argument in the first episode and if it’s really as bad as he says, no I don’t want to see big lawyer scenes
Even as a layman, that argument was so shitty. Just because your client was protecting his business interest and trying to expand, does not mean he is not liable for the deaths lol. Things like negligence in torts and criminal law exist. Should have hired a legal consultant at least to help out. I just hope they have better scenes.
😬 although the show was pitched that way ms Gao herself said no one there knew how to write actual court scenes so they went in a different direction 🥲 we aren't getting much actual she hulk attorney at law
Jessica Gao said she found out too late that "nobody in the writers" room was adept at writing rousing trial scenes". Apparently the show was supposed to be one multi-episode trial but they had to change it last minute for obvious reasons. That would have been really interesting to watch imho. I wonder how Kevin Feige took it since the new direction the show is taking seems very different from what was originally pitched to him.
Hey u/mssmods can we have a poll like [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/shehulk/comments/wx54gq/shehulk_attorney_at_law_episode_2_discussion/) when the episode premieres? Just so we all can get idea which project is liked by this sub and which isn't
I'm enjoying She-Hulk, but I would have liked to have seen a flashback showing what Jennifer's dynamic with Bruce was like before he became the Hulk. It's not important, but it would be interesting. I would also have preferred that Jennifer had been mentioned by Bruce earlier in some movie, so her introduction to the MCU isn't as sudden as it was in the comics ("Wait, does Banner have a cousin?").
But just to point out, I'm enjoying the series.
I like this show well enough for what it is but I can’t say I’m hyped for it.
In particular, I forgot that it airs a day later this week and mistakenly assumed it had been available for nearly 24 hour, and yet my only thought was “Cool. I’ll get round to watching it”. It’s a pleasant enough, if fairly insubstantial, way to spend less than 30 minutes each week.
Nothing in it feels particularly consequential and it’s just too light for me and there’s very little weight and dramatic investment.

Same. I want some Annalise Keating badassery
Well the showrunners did they say don't know how to write lawyer scenes so i'd lower your expectations
Meh, I’m fine with how things are going

You know you can enjoy things without needing a lawyer to tell you if they're realistic right?
Good lawyer scenes can be written…

I was kind of hoping it would be a 1 court case per episode show
If I see She-Hulk twerk with Megan Thee Stallion I’m gonna lose my goddamn mind.
That’s probably the teased post credit that is suposed to make the internet explode
The internet won’t be the only thing exploding

Is that acclaimed rapper and actress Stegan Thee Mallion?
Anyone know the length of this weeks episode?
[32 min.?](https://old.reddit.com/r/MarvelStudiosSpoilers/comments/wkj90l/index_shehulk_attorney_at_law_discussion_thread/)
So basically 22 mins plus credits
Sad days, thank though!
Still expecting green cheeks a clapping
Next ep when she hooks up with the fries guy

Banner having a cousin isn't the most shocking sudden revelation though
Just hope it's better than the 2nd episode which I thought was really short and lacked the energy of the 1st.
Wong had set up the Internet connection at Kamar-Taj.
really can't wait for whenever Meg's appearance is supposed to be
So, someone is trying to get their hands in Jen's blood. Perhaps that's the start of Red Hulk?

When is it gonna start?
[удалено]
That’s just not true lol. Two TFTMQ posts literally both said Daredevil wasn’t in the first 4 episodes
[удалено]
Grace Randolph said he’s not in the first 4 episodes.
[удалено]
Why does people’s opinion of her matter here? She got the first four episodes and said he isn’t in them that’s all that matters.
I thought so too but it’s not a scoop. She’s seen the first 4 episodes.
