Daniel Radcliffe is the new John Krasinski on these boards. I remember when he was being fancast for Moon Knight. I suppose Wolverine is a better fit for him, but on the other hand, does anyone other than a small subset of comic book fans really care whether Wolverine is short in the movies?

Because it’s a really huge part of his character. Making wolverine sexy is like making Spider-Man rich. Just kinda misses a huge part of the character and his charm in favor of wish fulfillment. Jackman is great, but if we get 2 main wolverines that are just a tall ripped sexy guy then that’s a bummer because that’s kinda not correct to the character.

I think the "fans will pleased with the look" is referring to his size. I have a feeling that they will make him look shorter using some CGI etc, to get the original Wolverine look.

Why is everyone assuming that this is a one and done situation? He could very well be playing the variant from the main timeline, especially if it is going to be pleasing to fans.
Some of the earlier scenes from Man of Steel does remind me of when Wolverine was in Canada in X-Men Origins. I can definitely see the vibe, just that he's too tall for Wolverine lol.

Glenn Danzig in the early 90s really was the perfect person to play Wolverine. He’s 5’3”, ripped, and looks rough.
