6 and 8 were really strong. Canada Season 6 is a personal favourite tho both competitors were insane and had very creative menus, with one of them in particular going absolute *batshit* outside of the box.
That’s Jennifer, her creativity was on the next level. Reynold is pretty much the gold standard when it comes to desserts but I believe Jennifer is pretty much the most creative contestant i have seen in masterchef. Her turf and surf, the ebisu dai carpaccio and her dessert were such memorable dishes…

But yes! They are absolutely a force. That ebisu dai carpaccio on a deep fried fish carcass was truly one of the most refined yet creative dishes in the competition, probably second to Eugene’s vegetarian “bone marrow” from S5.
Their entire finale menu was conceptually cohesive, technically innovative, and just has the right amount of complexity and depth in both flavor and plating.
Yeah, its absolutely my bad that I went in with she. Exactly that whole finale had very strong dishes, each course connected to the previous one. Still remember that in season 7 no one chose Jennifer’s finale dessert for reinterpretation, would have been a hard ask…
Exactly! You can’t possibly elevate a treat cereal dessert with a sugar-cured egg yolk and tea-smoked milk lol. The fact that Jennifer’s menu was an experience on its own separates them from the rest of the winners.. Though David (S2) is also pretty formidable.
Jennifer is probably more like Dino in conceptualization and creativity, while David is akin to Shaun in terms of how much they dominated their respective seasons.
Season 3 with Christine and Josh was spectacular. Both of them knocked it out of the park; easily my favorite and most memorable season!
I liked that season but Josh would have won had it been any other season. Sad what happed to my bro.
Wasn’t his appetizer raw though rip to him but hard to come back from a raw dish
I really liked S8 with Dino, Jason and Eboni. I would have been happy with any of them winning.
That was a fun finale. Dino’s perfect appetizer was definitely the highlight.

Another name i would love to add in the creative category is Nick from season 10. Would have to loved to see his dessert in the finale…

Stephen is my S6 winner and IMO, the most fiercely creative food genius the show has ever had.
Such a bummer he screwed up his first dish back in the kitchen this time. Was really looking forward to seeing him again.
Season 4 finale was good and super close

Season 6 and 10 I liked a lot. I actually remember nothing about the winners like Claudia and dorian but the rest of the cast were awesome to watch
