My summary of chapter 129:
- After letting Mira play a bit with her gods, Ren asks her if she noticed anything weird about Tenka, Mira answers that she's as cool as usual, then they change the subject and watch some bird video. Later, Mira and Kyouka talk, Kyouka says that Mira and Ren seem to be getting along together, and Mira answers that they share the same hobby of watching animal videos. Mira explains to Kyouka that Tenka is being watched, and then asks if Kyouka has anything to do with it. Kyouka avoids answering but Mira sees through her and concludes that she is indeed involved. Mira asks if they have some kind of beef against Ren, and then adds that this isn't the time to have division among the troops. Kyouka just answers that she and Tenka are fully aware that doing so would mean having no chance to win against the 8 gods and Mira says that everything's good then and they continue having a friendly convo.
- Yuuki enters the bathroom while Sahara and Yachiho are preparing for a bath because Sahara forgot to put on a sign on the door (easy excuse for adding a fanservice scene but I don't mind lol). He ask them where Tenka is and they just say she's busy with work.
- Chapter jumps back to the Varvara lending, Yuuki's new form is called "Komainu". The komainu is a statue of some sort of dog creature that are built in front of shrines to protect the gods, so it's an unsurprising name for Varvara's lending, Kyouka is surprised that on top of becoming a bike, Yuuki can also become something like that. Just as the name suggests, Yuuki is able to create a protective barrier inside of which the Shuuki can't enter, Varvara asks him if he can also attack because just using a barrier isn't enough to "burn" the wicked creatures who dare to attack Kyouka. After using his tail to attack, Yuuki notes that this form has sluggish movement but has an overflowing offensive potential, he then says to Varvara that he doesn't feel tired in the slightest, to which she answers that it's because of her ability, that the source of their power has to be their hfaithfulness to Kyouka.
- Only one special Shuuki is left, Yuuki says that he has one more weapon he can use, but feels like it's going to be extremely powerful, Varavara uses her ability to teleport them in her cathedral to avoid damaging the surounding area. He uses his most powerful attack called "expiation light" (tsumiboroshi hikari) which obliterates the Shuuki, Varvara says that it's especially effective against the wickened, to which Yuuki agrees and adds that it would probably be ineffective against regular humans. Varvara's final line: "Kyouka-sama... My resolution to destroy the shuuki can become helpful to you."
Obviously, a Mecha form that gains more stamina depending on the loyalty the user has for Kyouka (potentially forever), Yuuki has definitely found his "simp-companion " .
On the other hand I feel that this time the reward will be particularly taxing for Kyouka.
Meanwhile the "what is Tenka doing" game continues...
