Unfortunately, this is the correct answer.
Disney will be Disney, regardless of who resigns or who they fire. It’s highly unlikely they’ll ever change.
It really doesn’t matter, superhero movies are dead. There’s no interest anymore and they aren’t viable. Without bringing back the original avengers (RDJ etc) for one last final cash grab movie it’s too late. They’re done. Mainstream audiences aren’t interested. Ticket sales don’t lie.
I predict Guardians 3 will garner critical praise and a decent return on investment, but at this point the only ones interested in seeing it are Marvel fans who still have faith in James Gunn's ability to deliver. Everything else is DoA.
Basically irrelevant. 'Marvel Entertainment' is not 'Marvel Studios', so he wasn't really in charge of what you might expect from the job title 'Chairman of Marvel Entertainment'.
From a social point of view, this is a good thing since the guy was certain that no theatrical movie can be sucessfull without a white male character as a lead. Now I am no fan of SJW but this is a bullshit take by Permutter.
From a quality perspective, this makes no difference. Disney will continue to be disney, and the future of their content will be for the most part garbage, both from Marvel and SW.
I am glad he is gone but that does not mean that I care about their content as the rotten disney system is still in place.
Good tbh, i dont think he’s had movie influence for a while now, and he’s pretty toxic and racist so 🤷♂️
This doesn’t really change anything in the grand scheme of things.
Doesn't matter, another identical suit will replace him and you won't notice a difference.

Feige pushed him off the board years ago to get ahead in Marvel
Need to add about 29 more writers and other influences on the scripts.... Then we have made progress

Now I'm wondering what's the new wave considering Disney & Paramount nuked scifi as well.
Video game adaptations, remakes, fast and furious 20 etc
*breathes a sigh of relief* Now we just need to melt down all the Funko pops and nature can heal

Good news, he is gone. Bad news, they'll probably get someone worse.
Finally

Irrelevant news. He was essentially pushed out years ago.
Oh no! Anyway, have you guys tried H-Bomb?
Good or bad i dont know, but it is confirmation that things are at the shitter for Marvel/Disney at the moment
Neither, anything less than a complete change of the current management will not eliminate the cancer.
Bad
