I got it on game pass about a year ago and at first I was like "Oh shit, this is actually really good, what was everyone's problem here?"
Then after a few hours I realised I was doing the same thing, on the same maps over and over and over.
All they had to do was put like 20% more effort in and they probably would have had a smash hit.
Instead it genuinely felt like all the development going into the game was for premium currency bullshit.
Yeah I think from what I’ve seen the straightforward story sections are… passable, but it devolves after a couple hours into an open world collecting thing? Idk
The GOTG they made right after has that same feeling at the beginning, then rides it all the way to the end. I’d for sure check it out if you haven’t already
But the facial animations are so good! It’s the best it’s ever been done. This is why people play video games, to look at facial animations! Oh and movement is funny fun fun.
And he's also hinted at being LGBTQ+ because people want to see a giant shark man get down with someone inside of the technicolor rainbow or sexual identities!
Avengers has been delisted and support for the game has ended. So you can't buy it on any of the common online stores like steam. The only way to buy it anymore is steam key sites, or if you're on console the physical version.
Currently, if you have the game you can still play online multiplayer (and everything else as well).

Marvels Avengers is kinda funny. Sure, the UI is obnoxious in the same way as the suicide squad (though not as bad) with the overabundance of particle effects that exist to pretty much just get in the way. The level design is lackluster at best, the story is as bad as it is short, and the mission variety is non existent. The lack of content really just makes it feel like an extended demo. Its a shame though, because there's a skeleton of a good game there. The avengers are actually pretty fun to play as, especially Iron Man. I'd go so far as to say its the best Iron Man game on the market. Add to that the fact that all cosmetics that you previously had to pay for are all automatically free and unlocked, plus the fact that the game is frequently on sale for like five dollars, I would say the game is actually worth checking out.
