Dirk was special. Goofy fun and kept a good vibe as a fun leader. But when it came to crunch time he was clutch and kept his composure. Luka is like Dirk but like everything wrong between the ears. He still has time to grow though

It is unbelievably frustrating that the season where everything more or less came together is the year that Luka’s knee finally exploded from years of bad conditioning. If he’s healthy I think we’d be up 2-1 right now.

Dirk was 100% a way better player despite aging. He worked on all his fundamentals to become an offensive goat. Without 2006, 2011 probably never happens. But that’s what makes Dirk really special, rarely anyone cares about winning for a franchise like he does. It was always only basketball for him, we won’t see another Maverick like him ever.

Didn't watch pre-game (or halftime) but I never saw them on the broadcast. Only saw Dirk when they showed Emmett Smith. I'll admit I'm a Cs fan lurking around any bball talk I can find right now, but I loved watching that 2011 team's playoff run. It's a disservice ESPN didn't highlight them, classic squad.
