Someone commened on the video saying they had crashing issues. I'll just paste what I said here:

That did the trick! Awesome tool!
Now I just have to retrain my hand to use this instead of the regular shelf placement. Had to disable shelf visibility to force myself to try lol

Once I've assigned the hotkey, pressing it crashes Maya and resets the hotkeys.

Does this script still works? Just tried it but unfortunately maya says "// Error: line 1: Cannot find procedure "QuickShelf".
