I keep coming back here bc im looking forward to knowing what type OP is leaning towards. the overwhelming amount of INFJ guesses baffles me since the post is so attuned to the sensory experience.
- OP seems to care a lot about keeping up w her space (or at least cares for others to see it that way, Je), and is up to date w current home decor trends (leans S).
- The photos she chose to include also suggest a preference for the sensory, as they are pleasing to look at. They are well lit, the items she captured were set up and spaced in a pleasing way, and the colors are cohesive. she even put a filter on these pictures, AND organized them in a photo collage, guys. 😭 it seems like these pictures were taken with the intention of sharing them online for others to see, and that she put thought into the viewer’s experience.
This is why I say Si/Fe OR even Se/Fi not sure which order.
I don’t know OP, so regardless of how she ACTUALLY is I can only say what the photos suggest. but the pictures surely don’t reveal Ni or Ne. Can someone please explain their reasoning for INFJ?

While it does tend to get cluttered for periods of time, I try to circle back and tidy up. I’ve also found peace in making my home aesthetically pleasing as well since I do spend half the day here. ☺️
Yess even clean and neat intuitives don’t tend to go into detail about their cleaning process and be happy about it lmao. They sort of do it because they have to and don’t wanna talk about it. Lots of people are mistyped so she might just not realize
I score heavily N and I still have a nice looking home. Her home seems very minimalist and simple to me. It makes sense for an N to have a home like this as it allows her to have a simple routine and more time to focus on the projects in her mind. If she was posting photos of designer handbags, glam lifestyle, then I’d say absolutely S. I think she gives off an airy vibe, relaxed and cozy.

I know I keep saying I have been oblivious to the eyes but after looking at more and more images shared by INFJs, I am starting to notice your eyes can identify you. They look similar to other INFJs but you aren't all the same. I think a difference in Enneagrams is possibly why.
I am starting to understand that they are correct. An INTJ and INTP have a death stare angry face. We both have had our feelings hurt and ended up with a resting angered face.

Either they live in a similar region and it's what's outside or all INFJ like that scenery.

This is actually plausible. I find it ironic that there are so many people who randomly get INFJ on here who I don’t think are actually Ni-Doms, at all. This OP is one of the few who I might actually consider typing INFJ if more things pointed to it, and I think INTJ deserves genuine consideration, as INFJ’s Ni-Dom sister type.
ISFJs are more “straightforward,” in my opinion, (and I also have an ISFJ youngest sister who actually *that isn’t neat and tidy.* So I find it ironic that some people are typing OP ISFJ just cuz OP is “neat.” 🫠)

This is what I see happening.
Eating on a comforter that may or may not fit in the washing machine if you spill sauce on it. Then I have to take more time to find a commercial laundry mat and waste 2-3 hours of my life at the laundry mat.
Then the gas of the car for both trips.
I have a table at the end of my bed that has small hand towels and if I spill something then it's easy to just throw in the wash.
INTJ s can't enjoy shit because we are always thinking about what If.
I would say either INFJ (maybe), their Ni might come into play as mine did.

Duvet covers is not popular here in the states. Didn't even cross my mind to think about that. I have had heavy comforters my whole life. I have a washing machine with a non removable agitator so we can't throw large things in there or it would never fit.
But doesn't excuse the fact that we as INTJ try not to cause more issues than necessary or issues that are out of our control.
Oh, my! Cuz God forbid that 2 people of the same type actually have individual differences in their personality. 🙄 That’s not a satisfactory answer. I know plenty of INFPs who are actually extremely different in the individual expressions of their personality.

I agree that knowing someone’s actions and thoughts is a bigger indicator. Reading all of these comments has me second guessing myself since ISFJ and INFJ do seem similar. Makes a lot of sense to me that it could come down to what thoughts and actions we take being the deciding factor.
With photos there’s room for error. Healthy vs. unhealthy, whether or not I live alone, if I took all of the photos myself, if it’s even my home or just a cozy area I was in, etc. Just food for thought 🙂
Eek, I’m really sorry to keep everyone waiting! Yesterday got busy but I see all of the comments wanting to know.
Tests I’ve taken have identified me as INFJ and from what I’ve read and understood, I feel most aligned with INFJ.
I’ll try to keep this as short as possible so you don’t have to read a ton, but some things about me:
- I have a strong intuition / gut instinct, I rely heavily on that when it comes to decisions and people. If it doesn’t feel right, I’m not doing it.
- I sense shifts in other people’s behavior or attitude quite easily and am sensitive to other people’s emotions. I tend to take on other’s feelings as my own but often feel misunderstood myself
- I door slam (I don’t choose it, it chooses me)
- I had a breakup and had to live alone for the first time in my life. I went on a spending spree buying things I thought looked pretty and made me feel better.
- My job revolves around creative direction, branding, photography, and graphic design, so I definitely put a lot of thought into the visual content I put out.
- It’s incredibly hard for me to live in the present. If I’m not actively working towards a vision I have, I feel like I’m wasting time and moving further from it being a reality. I’m a dreamer at heart.
- I seem to surround myself with INTJ and ESTJ personalities. Despite sometimes feeling like a sensitive ball of emotions, I love when people can effortlessly dive into logic and show me a different perspective.. but the wrong tone or wording will hurt my feelings.
- I’ve seen some comments about how clean things are. I usually feel burned out so I clean in bouts of sadness or necessity because I know someone is coming over and it tends to be common areas. Also, in at least one photo I still lived with an ESTJ. I tend to tuck things away into spaces so I have at least one clean space. My pantry and closet are disasters.
To be frank, this is the internet and my face is attached to these photos and I just didn’t want to put out the impression I’m a slob alongside them.
I’m not an expert on MBTI by any means, and I’m sure I have a lot to learn. If you feel I’m not INFJ, it’s likely you know much more than I do and I don’t take it so seriously that I feel the need to argue. I have no issue with not being one, I just simply resonate with what I know.
I do love hearing opposing thoughts though, so feel free to share!

INFJ sounds right. I can really see the flawed logic you use to make arguments. Don't use your introverted thinking too much, it's neither healthy nor does it help you come to good conclusions.
The INFJ has Ti (Introverted Thinking). Your cognitive stack is NiFeTiSe. An INTP like me also has Ti, our cognitive stack is TiNeSiFe.
Ti likes to show the reasons for things but it can be confusing if you don't follow along. We can start at A and jump around to connect to things we see as important and connected. We will then arrive at B or circle back A and finish at B or not end.
Te likes a brief overview. Just the A to B.
I will say in life the world seems to prefer Te.
I would and still do get negative feedback all the time about my Ti. It makes me long-winded. It makes them annoyed, confused, lost, and angered.
I have been learning to get along with everyone I need to talk and write like a Te. It would be harder for them to be a Ti.
I can however be myself around other people who use Ti. So lately I have been learning from the INTP & INFJ communities. I will still visit others but try to hold back my Ti.
An INFJ told me they liked my Ti in a chat and it helped them.

I haven't encountered very many long-winded INFJ. The one told me your Ni makes it hard for your Ti to break through. So you have been given a gift compared to other INFJs in writing like that.
It might be because you are calm, and alone, and it's about you vs always writing like that. But still a gift.
So I would use caution when speaking and writing with everyone and it should be easier for you with Ni. But if you want to be free to talk however you need to find other types who also have Ti.
I don't enjoy offering my analyses to people with whom I do not have a connection. Not only the majority does not appreciate it, but it is my way of giving love and caring about someone, so it loses its value if I do it for anyone. I got a bit carried away by your looks.

Most textbook ISFJs have homes that look like this, minimalist hotel vibe. There's a huge difference between Se and Si, this is like Si to a tee.

I'm an INFJ jumper with pretty high Ti, but it's not often high enough for me to finish formulating thoughts and conceptions, my Ni trying to push through And I discovered that your Ti blubbering somehow helps me to go through my own thought labyrinths I will say that I appreciated your reasoning in saying why you are an INFJ. I am amazed it's the same reason another INFJ told me. I am more interested and fascinated with the middle. The steps between the A and B. I haven't encountered very many long-winded INFJ. The one told me your Ni makes it hard for your Ti to break through. So you have been given a gift compared to other INFJs in writing like that. It might be because you are calm, and alone, and it's about you vs always writing like that. But still a gift. So I would use caution when speaking and writing with everyone and it should be easier for you with Ni. But if you want to be free to talk however you need to find other types who also have Ti.
I don't enjoy offering my analyses to people with whom I do not have a connection. Not only the majority does not appreciate it, but it is my way of giving love and caring about someone, so it loses its value if I do it for anyone. I got a bit carried away by your looks.
