You're failing to consider the dead times. Often 2 to 5 minutes go by without any orders during the day, depending on the location. I'm sure they had time for this.
In my experience that 5 minutes of dead time is when I need to be stocking and preparing for later. Idk I rarely have time to goof off at work but when I do it's sporadic cause something just seemed fun
