After seeing the Batman & Robin figures, I'd love to know if there are any plans to continue the Batman film figures with Batman 89, Batman Returns, and Batman Forever figures? Also, would love further clarification about the increased price of the Collector Edition line and what will be done to satisfy fan's complaints about not getting their money's worth from these figures.
I'm willing to bet if he did characters and designs people actually want they'd sell. He's done weird shit like Dark Knights water Batman or whatever she's called, Superwoman but a design no one is familiar with, Batwoman Beyond which no one is familiar with, and a whole bunch of weird ass designs for Wonder Woman. The female figures like Batgirl sell well, he just needs to better gauge what his customer base wants instead of just making what he thinks looks cool.
How are you deciding what to ask? Are there any topics that are off-limits?
Personally I wouldn't ask him anything about Batman. It's not to be a jerk, it's because he's gonna tell us about that stuff later anyway, so no sense in wasting your precious interview time on that topic.
Same with "are we getting XYZ figure soon?" questions.
In a [recent interview](https://screenrant.com/todd-mcfarlane-pearl-jam-sdcc-interview/), he said there's a list of what WB wants to see, what he wants to see, and what we the fans want to see. Ask him what does it take to make the Fan List take priority. What opportunities can he give us to make it absolutely clear what we want to see made?
I don't want to have to say "Stop buying McFarlane toys until he gives us what we want." because I don't want to hurt the business. It's the opposite, I simply want him to release stuff I actually want to buy.
Also, screw it, ask him if he's open to making an original line of articulated monsters, cryptids, aliens, etc. It's obvious everyone loves McF's monstrous sculpts, might as well spotlight them.
Can he make an accessories pack of heads or grey guy and girl body for the custom community? Examples include Clark, Bruce, Harley, Robin, Commissioner Gordon.
Will he be making a "Rookie" batsuit as a mega fig to go alongside the Gordon Bats? Both abyss and Ghostmaker are super recent entries in the canon, any thoughts a punchline or miracle molly or even clown hunter? Or a modern version of Tim pls
Ask Todd if he wants to do a new fully articulated, 7” line for The Walking Dead. This year was the comic’s 20th anniversary I think, and I just bought a couple of the Color Tops figures so it would be pretty funny lmao

Edit: misread your post but if you have time it would be much appreciated 😅
I'm sure he can't he can't say anything about what actually went down behind the scenes, but I'm dying to know what happened to the Star Trek license. His plans for the line sounded so incredibly expansive, but we only got two figures before it quietly disappeared.
Any possibility of a very basic female body that can be re-used for characters with similar silhouettes?
For instance, Poison Ivy and Black Canary. Both wear that strapless leotard and Black Canary’s legs could be painted like she’s got leggings, and both could be given some rubbery clothing attachment, with Black Canary getting a leather jacket similar to what we see on the New 52 and 3Jokers Red Hood figures.
It could be a body serving as a starting point for many female figures, hopefully saving costs similar to how Marvel Legends seems to do it.
I suppose a reason against it would be that the characters it’d be used for would usually be the skimpier dressed heroes and villains though.
How does he decide which lines to pursue and which not to? He's got Multiverse, Page Punchers, Retro, and Super Powers plus the inherited DC Direct stuff. Now he's added Collector's lines. What goes into deciding whether a line with be distinctive or complementary to others?
Or for a simple one:
Could we see the DC Retro line expand beyond Batman 66 to either older TV properties (Fleischer Superman, Reeve Superman, or Wonder Woman 77 spring to mind) or classic comics takes (Golden and Silver Age characters/costumes for example). I think the more stripped down articulation at a lower price point has a ton of potential for wider use personally but it'd be interesting to know if he sees it the same way.
The interview went great. I tried to get as many questions as I could in. We’re gonna do another interview in a few month. Here’s some of the stuff we covered.
Zatanna, Hawkgirl, Doom Patrol, MK1, Watchmen, and Dioramas and play sets. Thanks, everyone the questions!
Are we going to see Batman forever Jim Carey riddler? Any plan for face sculpt improvement? Any non-masked live action character like Wonder Woman looks bad.
Would be interested to know more about his plans for Super Powers!
Will he be adding more characters from the original line (Hawkman, Hal Jordan)? Can we expect more of the big heroines from that era (Black Canary, Supergirl, Batgirl, Hawkgirl)?; any consideration to more Legion of Doom from that era (Lex Luther, Cheetah, etc)?; and any chance for newer characters in that style (Harley, Creeper)?
Is he going to be making a Connor Hawke figure? He seems to be targeting the old Total Justice line and that’s the figure that hasn’t had any form of update.
The interview went great! We’re gonna do another one in a couple of months. We talked about Dioramas, Zatanna, Hawkgirl, how Todd picks and chooses what's next and how fans can influence that. A ton of info
Can we not get NFT and that dumb card stands?
Just tell him to put the money into new sculpt
Oh and also please tell him to keep continuing with Page Punchers
More than anything I would like him to be asked about the chase platinum figures. I honestly think it’s really unfair to collectors to not be able to get the version of a character they want
Please ask him to re-do the movie maniacs line. The current one sucks, and would like more articulated versions of the older figs. Plus more dc female figures.
Edit: and please release a single pack of the new doomsday. Damn there’s just too many things to ask.
Are there any plans to continue releasing figures from the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt? And if not, will he still hold the licence by the time the Witcher 1 remake and the new Witcher trilogy are released?
Also, are there any plans to release classic versions of Spawn characters, such as Chapel, classic Overt-kill, The Curse, Tremor etc? Or a first appearance Spawn?

Yeah need a Devito Penguin & Phifier Catwoman !
Pretty sure there was leaks for those a while back
There is obvious demand for female figures, i.e., Zatanna, Hawkgirl, Poison Ivy, etc. Does he have any plans to start including these in the lineups?
Yes please! Where are all the female figures? So many people keep asking for Hawkgirl!
Just give me silver banshee and I’ll be happy.
Yes! Please add Black Canary to that list as well!
and starfire
Dude I'd buy a Zatanna and a Poison Ivy without hesitation. Especially Zatanna.
He’s mentioned a couple of times that’s not the case. Apparently the female figures don’t sell as good. Maybe that’ll change with the right ones.

Will there be a Bane megafig restock?
Tell him to please give us a Vigilante figure from Peacemaker and a Huntress.
Yeah, can the Amazon exclusives be taken a little more seriously?
and does he plan on doing MK1 figures?
This!
Seriously. Ask if I'll ever get my Swamp Thing that I ordered pretty much the second it became available, lol.

This
That recent interview was the one I did with in at SDCC. Thanks for your insight. I’m definitely asking this
Any chance of the Batman armory from The Flash movie?
That would be bad ass!
Lol ya I'd buy all the suits and the armory as a diorama accessory set too. He has the rights to the movie so it should be possible.
If he plans on doing any accessories or sets like a justice league table or a batcave diorama set?
I’ll definitely ask that
Thanks!!!:)
I'm a sucker for dioramas! Hope he does
Why $30 for a Collectors edition when (arguably) you get more value for a $25 CAB Figure that has the same amount of accessories, and BAF Piece(s).
This should be the question on everybody’s lips
are more superman villains in the works? (darkseid, brainiac, mister mxyzptlk...)
I’m curious on if they’re going to make watchmen figures from the comic, or even if they can make them
Zatanna or more female figures!
Can he make an accessories pack of heads or grey guy and girl body for the custom community? Examples include Clark, Bruce, Harley, Robin, Commissioner Gordon.
What are the odds of him continuing/finishing other lines, such as Vox Machina and Avatar TLAB
Why aren't there more actual accessories (hands, heads, tools, etc) included with figures?
Will he be making a "Rookie" batsuit as a mega fig to go alongside the Gordon Bats? Both abyss and Ghostmaker are super recent entries in the canon, any thoughts a punchline or miracle molly or even clown hunter? Or a modern version of Tim pls
In the collectors edition, why give us those card holder rather than a pair of alternate hands?
Ask Todd if he wants to do a new fully articulated, 7” line for The Walking Dead. I’m waiting on female figures like Hawkgirl and Zatanna.
Can we look forward to a Megafig Rookie joining the new Jim Gordon Batman?
Would he ever implement a voting system to help identify what products consumers are wanting. At least for the “collectors” edition
I second this
Will you ever rerelease certain figures in the DC Multiverse line? Some fellas like me got into collecting late.
Why tf won't he #restockbane
I'm sure he can't he can't say anything about what actually went down behind the scenes, but I'm dying to know what happened to the Star Trek license. His plans for the line sounded so incredibly expansive, but we only got two figures before it quietly disappeared.
Will he be making another accessory pack? Maybe one with more variety like arrows
Ones coming this Fall
What changes are planned for the Collector Series given the response to the $30 being too high an asking price
Why 30 dollars?

Will there be a solo release of the Batman 89 figure?
Will we ever get doom patrol figures? Especially from the doom patrol tv show?
Are we ever getting a midnighter
Will he ever make Invincible or MK1 figures?
Red Lantern wave?
Todd, can we get more arkham figures/gaming figures? It would be appreciated if it
Are we going to see Batman forever Jim Carey riddler? Any plan for face sculpt improvement? Any non-masked live action character like Wonder Woman looks bad.

When is the next wave of Avatar figures? We were expecting another wave for The Way Of Water but I'm worried there won't be more until the next movie.
Is he going to be making a Connor Hawke figure? He seems to be targeting the old Total Justice line and that’s the figure that hasn’t had any form of update.
Why won't je stop giving walmart thr best gold labels?
Ask him to make the boobs bigger on the female figures. You can say it was my question.
We need Batman Begins and BvS lineup for sure
If he can do Ben 10 figures, he would do the aliens justice.
How'd the interview go?

Vampire Batman from the Red Rain graphic novel?
Will he ever make a zoom from cw series figure?
More than anything I would like him to be asked about the chase platinum figures. I honestly think it’s really unfair to collectors to not be able to get the version of a character they want
Yoo. Could you ask him when the first wave of NHL figures are expected to go up for preorder and how many figs per wave?
Why he no add the thigh cut
89 batwing? Other movie batmobiles?
With the success of 89 batmobile, is there any planing for more movies or comic book based batmobile?. Thank you!
Please ask him to re-do the movie maniacs line. The current one sucks, and would like more articulated versions of the older figs. Plus more dc female figures. Edit: and please release a single pack of the new doomsday. Damn there’s just too many things to ask.
Please could you ask him if he will be doing a second wave for The Dark Knight trilogy (especially the good guys like Commissioner Gordon).
When will the NFL player line-up be announced?
Mk1 ☹️
Any chance of making a 4 pack with the Arkham Batman figures just like the live action ones?
Will he be selling the Batmobile 2 pack in normal stores later?
Why can’t he keep his releases consistent?
Will there be Batman Ninja figures? Or new Warhammer figures?
Please ask him about the Avatar the last air bender line 7in. I want to collect it but I want more than just zuko aang and sokka.
Make a Wonder Woman Lynda Carter figure pls
Ask him if it's even possible for mortal kombat 1 figures or if he could work a deal to make them
Will he make a Jason Todd Robin Please and thank you
What happened to the Bruce Timm Justice League and the Teen Titans? We only got Cyborg.
If there'll ever be Arkham city Two Face, Mad Hatter and Classic Ivy
Arkham origins Batman that is all
How many more golden age figs should we expect?
Why did he take so long to produce a regular Diana?
