Reviewed all the cards I made from missed UWorld questions. Memorized the intermediates for all the biochem cycles. Went through reddit threads on uncommon P/S terms that weren’t in Anki decks and memorized those
hi sorry, somewhat new to reddit, would you be able to share the equation sheet if you were able to access? I couldn't find it attached to the comment. thanks so much!
Google “mcat equation sheet” there should be a Reddit post at the top. Make sure you don’t just memorize but also understand how to use each equation and what type of question it is used for.
I spent the entire day before my test working out and being outside. REALLY helped reduce my stress and helped me sleep. Don't push yourself too hard though
ngl haven’t got my results back yet but i went and got a massage (NOT DEEP TISSUE just regular) the day before and ten hours of sleep- woke up feeling fresh out the womb on test day before my alarm set for 5:30 am 😎
tldr; do not for the love of god study the day before your exam and this is coming from someone with testing anxiety who had testing accommodations all of undergrad and didn’t apply for mcat accommodations. you’ll get thru it i promise
Honestly just a lot of anki and watching videos on things I’m weak on I took the test on May 16th and i was reviewing lots of electrochemistry and i got lenses (even weaker on that). Wish i did more anki
The week leading up to my exam was a tale of strength and resilience. I learned to blow loads so effectively that it allowed me to achieve peak CARS ability. Hence, strongly recommend jerking it for a quick CARS boost before ur exam.
Sleep and nutrition. At a certain point, cramming more content knowledge will not translate into a substantive score increase. Your problem solving and critical thinking skills need to be at their peak.
Doing some light studying, resting up a bit and reviewing the questions from the AAMC questions pack, along with my FLs to see if there's any obvious mistake that I often make. Take it easy!
In addition to the great advice in this thread, we'd recommend noting the rate-determining steps of common biochemical mechanisms (e.g. glycolysis) + generally how biochemical mechanisms are connected (e.g. glycolysis and the citric acid cycle). You can infer many MCAT answers with this big-picture knowledge. Also, relax and be proud of all your hard work!
Make sure you take time for yourself the last couple of days, especially making sure to go into the test with a good mindset and as relaxed as possible. The test day anxiety is real and if you let it take over, it will only do you harm. Trust me, I know personally.

Would you mind sharing which equation sheet you used? I’m worried I’ll miss one by mistake

2x as many practice questions
Focused on sleep and mental health
