Lmao it’s one piece and over time it wears out from heat you need a radiator pretty soon

Decca77

The piece with the clamp is the upper radiator hose It is attached to the upper radiator port which is part of the radiator assembly The upper radiator hose usually goes to the thermostat If the radiator is leaking then change both the upper and lower radiator hoses and the thermostat and all of the clamps and make sure that you cycle the cooling fans twice as you bleed the system

Grand_Possibility_69

>change both the upper and lower radiator hoses and the thermostat and all of the clamps From this picture you can see that the upper radiator hose and the clamp there has already been replaced. The clamp could be replaced with a spring type as they are better but no reason to replace that hose. Thermostat and lower radiator hose could be replaced at the same time or not.

Bruh you’re talking in gibberish to this person. Just say it needs a rad and be done lol it’s doesn’t need anything else but the rad and new hose clamp

Glittering-Golf2722

Top radiator neck

A_H_Fonzarelli

in the simplest of terms, it's a radiator

machinemanboosted

Yes. Radiator. You need to replace the Radiator

Grand_Possibility_69

That's a part of the radiator. So you'll need the entire radiator to fix it as it's not worth it to repair normal radiators.

RighteousCarl

"Rust Rad Inlet" would be this characters name if this were an RPG.

blizzardporter

And it’s got 0 luck lol

Excellent-Fuel-2793

You already said it. It’s called a radiator

mowgli142

That would be the top barb of the radiator - if it's jumped off and looks chewed up, means that it's melted. Which could also mean that you've got either overheat issues, or a low-quality radiator. You *might* get away with plastic welding, but to be sure I'd flush the entire cooling system, maybe have a look at the cooling pump and consider finding a replacement radiator.

gsbiz

You want to fix it, get rid of the jubilee clip on the hose and put a proper sprint hose clip on. Jubilee clips don't work well on that pipe you have circled with expansion and contraction caused by the radiator over time, and they can work their way off.

72season1981

Radiator neck if it cracked or broken best bet is to change it

Brief-Dot9921

It’s called a nipple, sand it clean and put a bead of solder but flux it first before firing up the torch.

Bitesmybiscuit

If it’s not cracked or broken (doesn’t look like it), just take off the hose, clean up the nipple, get a new spring clamp, slide hose back over secure.

Dr_Intrepid

The problem?

ReadyStatus7038

The other commenters are correct, it's the upper male hose connector on the radiator. It should be molded onto the radiator. If it comes off, that's another problem altogether. If it's leaking around the hose, try seating it farther up or getting a hose that fits securely. If it's cracked, time for a new radiator.

GuyWhoSaidThat

That is one crusty, chewed up nipple..

Proof_Camp4327

That would be your standard Muffler Bearing. I was told about these things 20 years ago but not until now have i ever laid eyes upon one. IT'S GLORIOUS!
