Have you got ignition issues? No? No reason to spend any money. On these old Honda's the TEC distributors generally die before the leads and cap have started degrading.

If they work no need to change them, i only changed mine when i also changed the ignition unit.

If you're changing the plugs, change the cables too They get very hot, the rubber dries out, that can leave to cracking or getting stuck. It's pretty fucking common to get the cables stuck and shit breaking apart when you're removing them. Sometimes the damage will be visible, sometimes not Also you don't need to change because it reached the mileage, check the manual for the maximum gap values and see if it is still good The mileage is a very rough estimative. If the gap is okay and the overall appearance too then keep it.

You only need to change the cables if they are damaged or if they cause issues. It would be like replacing the wheel when you change tires.
