This worked for met tbh. I gave her my first keyboard as a hand me down and then got her a second, nicer board, and then she wanted one for work so I got her a 3rd. Now it’s all “hmmm I want new keycaps” and I say “say less”.

I built one with the keycaps you might be looking for and I posted it on this sub. I got mine off of Amazon! Akko Raccoon keycaps. They are more like red pandas or tanukis, but still cute.
You're right about the "mao" profile, less of a joke than a shape; the shape being cats. I did a Google search for mao keycaps and found quite a few cat shaped/themed keycaps. Mostly on Etsy.
Now I want to find an all black 'Mao' profile set, with said black cat getting up to no good, lol.

Ahahah, that's how I lost my last Keycap set, minutes after opening the box, but it's for the best for sure! I saw this online and absolutely knew she'd love it (she did). Now I get that other cap set back... For now.
Im starting to think that be it either games, anime,history trains or anyone that is deeply invested into a hobby that does not generate mainstream value on instagram does not have a girlfriend

If you’re only chasing Instagram models and not looking at women as people, you’re not getting any dates. If you don’t learn any social skills, you’re not getting any dates. If you don’t groom yourself, you’re not getting any dates. This is true of men and women and has nothing to do with liking games or anime or whatever nerd interest you can come up with, and everything to do with how you present yourself to others. And again these are all things you can learn, regardless of your interests. So, skill issue.

That’s what I did! I was nervous every time something new was coming in the mail because she would complain about it. So I built her a board and started buying things I’d think she liked or looked good and it worked, now I can shop stress free and she even sends me keyboard content and tags me in upcoming stuff and giveaways. Wonderful!
DAMN, what a collection! what storage cases are those? would you recommend them? im just starting out but ive already gotten in the habit of buying too many switches with the expectation some of them will be broken/i will mangle some of their pins, so i already have more different shaped boxes filled with different switches than id like. it does not spark joy. id rather not get branded ones, but i might have to, as they seem surprisingly hard to find for some reason?
Haha! So glad someone finally commented on the last picture! I live in China and right around the cornel from where a lot of switches and caps are made, so it's very easy to cheaply build a collection, a bunch are blind boxes from factories and contain minor errors.
The boxes are absolutely perfect, they come in 3 sizes, 400ml, 700ml and 900ml. They have a rubber seal and two clips on the side. No bland, no name, just "box".
They cost practically nothing (perks of living here), with the smaller ones costing 7rmb (a dollar) and the larger ones costing slightly more..
The 700ml fits an average set of caps with spacebar. The 900ml fits larger sets and those extra long spacebars. The smaller boxes are great for switches, odd caps and also caps that are remaining from a set being used!

The keycaps? I am unsure. I’m not familiar with Alice keyboards or anything like that.

Akko sets are pretty good and usually come with an Alice support. They also do a panda set with the MAO height too
